Hi guys,
When I received my Xperia Play few years ago I didn't know why I have sound crackling on all emulators with NTSC roms and no frameskip (with frameskip I have stutters).
But today I tested the screen and I just seen the screen is set @57hz... I also have a Jxd s7800b, at launch the screen was also @57hz, so same issues, but after a firmware fix all is ok now @60hz.
So my question is simple, is there any cfw firmware with the screen fixed @60hz ? At this moment I just using a doomkernel.
Thanks for your help.

i tried to use search but that was a no go sry if i missed it
the optimus one is said to have this problem (if you touch the screen during gameplay the fps drops dramatically)
just wanted to know if desire has it thanks
btw does the multitouch failure make a very big difference while you are gaming ?
Hey all
Am quite new to the xperia play at rooting etc.
I currently have version 2.3.4 android on my phone. Bootloader is unlocked and im using Doomkernal Version 4 which has just recently come out.
Everything is working fine, except i dont see any option with my video camera to select HD fro recording?
All i have is:
High (30m)
Low (30m)
MMS (low 20s)
Youtube (High , 10m)
This is the same as when i bought my phone. Anyone have an idea where im going wrong at all?
Cheers, Kris
on 2.3.4 high(30m) is 720hd! if you take a video and check the formats I believe its MPEG 1280x720!
Hey!
I hope this question hasn't been already been posted and answered. Only recently I got my Galaxy Nexus and so far I'm seriously in love  On thing that bugs me though, is the crappy video playback, whether on YouTube or directly played from the internal storage. There's always a lot of background artifacts and noise where's only supposed to be a plain color, e.g. black (compared to playback on a PC or other devices). Could someone play this video (search on YT for Perfect Balance Pedal, first video from 0:14 on) on their Gnex and report if they face the same problem or have a solution? Thanks a lot!
I don't have any bug like that..
I'm using JB ROM and with stock ICS ROMs I didn't have that problem too..
Are you using stock ROM with stock kernel, or..?

Never experienced this issue. However, since it's occurring on both videos contained in memory as well as streaming services like YouTube, it's not likely an issue with the connection. The only thing I can come up with is something in your graphics drivers (hopefully) or GPU (hopefully not) is messed up. Have you tried downloading all of the stock software, checking md5sums and reflashing stock?
If a fresh and clean install of stock continues to have this issue, it may be an issue with the hardware and may need to be replaced.
Thanks for the quick reply! I'm currently on mike1986's Android Revolution 5.01 (JB) with Trinity Kernel, but I don't think the problem relates to that because I previously got this on stock 4.04 also. So it could just be a defunction of my screen?

An issue with the GPU blobs / GPU itself or possibly the CPU is more likely than the screen itself. If there was an issue with the screen you would likely see problems outside of video playback.
Hello guys.
I wanted to ask you where might be the problem because in some games the audio is lagging ,echo or doubling , i dont even know how to describe it , it happens in some roms and currently im on temasek 4.6 android 6.0.I experienced this in lolipop but the crappy sound was when i played games and the sound was going through bt headphones. So whats the problem?Audio drivers?I installed viper4x driver thst came with the rom ,no changes tho.
Hello and thank you for using Q&A,
we can not fix this problem, because Samsung only supported this device until 4.3. We don't have the drivers and it won't be fixed.

Hi, I have a problem with FPSE.
I've bought it a couple of year ago and when I recently repaired my Xperia Play, I've wanted to use it as a fully emulation device.
My play is under Xplaystation ICS v16 and LuPuS kernel ics (reicast doesn't work on gingerbread).
I've tried 3 games so far but the results are the same: my fps is capped at 58. I can't get it to 60, no matter what, I use the last version of fpse and I even cracked ancient ones but It doesn't solve my problem, and when i disable the framelimiter it's still capped to 58 fps.
I had the same problem with gin2kitkat rom, can someone help me ? Am I the only one to suffer from this problem ?
Thanks for the reply,
Nemesis
ps: Please excuse my bad english I'm french
