Hi All need help:
I have bought S4 mini Duos in India. I have put 2 SIM SIM 1 Vodaphone and SIM 2 Airtel.
I have problem with Vodaphone SIM. Even though the Vodaphone SIM have full network in my phone Callers can not connect to the Vodaphone SIM. Number unavailable for callers. This issue occurs 6 out of 10 times.
- Any one else have this issue with Vodaphone SIM?
- How to resolve this? Issue is with Vodaphone SIM only Airtel is fine.
- 3g is avtive in Airtel SIM.
- I have changed the Vodaphone SIM to SIM 2 but the same issue is there.
- Nwtwork drops it will reconnect automatically no issue in that.
- Only call can not connect to Vodaphone SIM.
Any solutions? Should i return the mobile?

Dude! i too had the same problem.
sim1 vodafone had network drop and 3g network suddenly goes lost.
sim 2 airtel worked fine.
took the phone to samsung service center. they said its problem with the antenna reception.
they replaced the mother board to new one and phone works fine now.
everything was covered under warranty... great relief...

Hi Guys,
Bit of a strange one here, ive had to change over to the "3" network whilst away due to no signal on my T-Mobile Sim however the "3" sim is showing on the phone as roaming (The triangle at the top of the screen), im still in the UK and it is a UK 3 Sim Card.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Jas
Three has no 2G network coverage of thier own and roams to another network (orange i think) to provide 2G coverage.
I have a BA that is unlocked and happily runs Orange, Vodafone, O2 sims. But when I try a 3 sim I get the error: sim invalid.
I get the same message when there is no sim in it. I checked the sim contacts and all looks fine. And the sim works fine in my ordinary 'phone' mobile.
Any suggestions for a fix to the problem?
Thanks
OK. I'll answer:
Three (3) don't own any GPRS network so they have locked their sims from roaming onto any non 3G network. Else it costs them money.
So any 2G/2.5G device (BA etc) will not accept a 3 sim. Some people have found theirs to work for a short period until 3 see the non-3G usage and take action.
My oppo find 7 is 5 months old, was using a vodafone sim in india and was working fine ,when went out of town and entered different area the sim stopped working. Then when i came back to my service area then also the sim was not detected by the phone. Tried different other network sim like airtel, aircel, it did not work, only idea sim was recognised by the phone. I do not know how make my phone detect vodafone network, please advise.
Was wondering if anyone here with a 3 subscription in Ireland or the UK can use data on the 2nd sim when abroad (with the 3 sim in slot 1)? I'm currently a 3 customer and had an LG G4 dual sim phone before and it wasn't possible to use 3G or 4G on the 2nd sim because 3 can't run on 2G or Edge. So the 3 sim always had to have data access enabled.

You can only have data access on one sim at a time. You can switch which sim has the data access but the one with data access will have 4g/3g/2g and the other sim will be 3g/2g. I use EE and Three in mine both are able to get a signal and use calls and texts. EE is the data sim on mine and Three can still make and receive calls and texts.

I used to have this problem with my dual sim HTC M8 - because only one sim could be run in 3G/4G.
Be reassured, I now can run a 3 sim happily as second sim, the OP3 allows the second sim to run in 3G.
Many thanks for the replies! Just wanted to make sure I can use the local sim for data access as the 3 Like Home option is not very good for data speed
I recently landed in USA from India. My Airtel SIM was working fine and registered to T-Mobile network.
I purchased mint mobile line and both Airtel and Mint were working fine.
Somehow I was not able to connect to Hotspot so I called up Mint mobile customer and they asked to reset network settings.
After that My phone stopped detecting Airtel T-Mobile network (Mint works fine).
I formatted my one plus 5T still its not registering to any network (even manually I tried).
Is there anyway to get India Airtel APN or other network settings back ?
Note :
My SIM works fine in other mobile which still has india settings. Something wrong happened with my mobile after Mint customer cares advice.
There is recharge in SIM and is active.
