I would like to say I have found a way to root without tripping the knox counter. Now I will try to use a room after but as of now I did not trip the counter. it's still 0. I used a program for computer from this site Mod Edit - Link Removed

If you use chainfires auto root the only way it won't work is if you connect your phone via usb before you press start on odin. Have you checked to see if su user is installed in your apps

Apparently the only way to get MiraCast to work is to go back to stock and use triangle away. Booooo. That won't happen.

It likely detects root on startup. ..like so many other apps. ..
I hate that. .
However. .don't we have some apps that hide root ??
I saw a few threads in the themes and apps section I'm pretty sure. ..
Sorry for not having a link. ..as it's been awhile. ..g

to remove sistem apps I use titanium backup, easier and faster. However be aware of the root method you'll use, knox counter will increase in some of them.
