How to enable landscape rotation in GEL? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note II

Like the title says, how can I accomplish this?

Anyone?

Exposed app settings > Google Search app > change rotation option to normal instead of default. DPI changes in search will also effect your launcher. Hope this helps.

Can you explain what you mean by "Exposed app settings"?

Must have missed the autocorrect. The Xposed framework with App Settings module.

From what I understand, the bulk of GEL's code is in the Google Search app so that's what needs to be modified.

Launcherpro question?

How do I get that app opening zoom effect back? Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
try using adwlauncher-EX, it features more animations than launcherpro =)
For the app drawer? menu > preferences > advanced settings > app drawer opening speed. If it is set at 10 there will be no zooming effect. Mine is set at 4.
The app drawer is absolutely perfect with the zoom but it isn't doing that with my apps.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
That's wierd.. It looks like the app opening and the app drawer opening speeds are set by the same control... my drawer and apps do it at the same speed..
Maybe you could try setting it the way you want it and then rebooting, if you havent already.. that's all I got

Uses more memory, less overall performance
[email protected] and the app doesn't zoom at all, just the app drawer..

[Q] Xposed Per app DPI not working?

I've installed and updated Xposed framework, and Xposed App Settings mod and the mod is enabled. Still I see no effect after applying DPI changes? Why's that?
Some DPI changes requires a restart to take effect.
Nope, nothing. I tried System UI and Awesome Note, changed to 160 DPI. Nothing - it's all the same.
Do you have the latest version of the xposed app settings module installed? Some apps wouldn't change dpi for me until I installed the latest one.

Nope. Not working either - updated and tried the method, no difference. Do you have to restart every single time with every app? It works on nothing for me, I've tried restarting a few times after applying, can't bother doing that anymore though.
If it works on nothing, are you sure you've installed the xposed framework properly? As in, you've launched the installer after installing the apk and pressed "install/update" and rebooted afterwards?
I've had no issues with the xposed app settings on either Samsung or cm based ROMs.

Yeah I know how to edit build.prop, not exactly what I'm looking for. Does it change per app DPI?
For most of the apps it changes the DPI. I am not sure whether the DPI changes for games too, cause all the games are same as before.

So I can change the DPI of apps INDIVIDUALLY? Gimme the link then.

I think he means, something like AOSPA. For instance, changing gmail to tablet UI, instead of phone UI. Not necessarily just the size.

Xposed app Settings >>>>SPLIT SCREENS!!

What's up?
Not sure if anyone has tried it yet, but I am a big fan of split screens in Gmail and settings. I used Xposed with the app settings apk and changed the dpi and dp and was able to get split screens. See screenshots below. Used 300-350 for the dpi and 800x1280 for the dp.

I think you are the first time to use dpi setting apps... It works on any device with any rom for long time ago, not only our G Pro. For "split screens", it depends on apps' resources supporting tablet layouts or not.

It's a great app most definitely. Love the difference from hd to full hd.

No, not my first time using dpi tweaks. But first time for app specific dpi tweaks. I was just posting this in case someone was wondering if the app settings apk in Xposed worked or not.
