I've always liked HTC Hub, and apparently the Virgin Mobile HTC Hub from x3reme Sense is working.
So I made it into a flashable fix for Sense Lite ROMs
It works on rooted deodexed stock, HTCdroid (Stable and Beta), myONEv, Ignorance X, and most likely other Sense lite ROMs
So.. here you go! - http://d-h.st/C0K
Just flash it in recovery.
Thank you @Minto107 for pointing out that the Virgin Mobile one works.
Edit - Please note that it will sometimes say "Can't Connect to HTC Sense" but it still works.
No problem. I always checking every app on ROMs. Keep up Your works @MameTozhio. Your ROMs are always great

Thanks a lot man for your fix. I've been looking for it for a long time now. But it says "cannot connect" all the time for me. Seems like not working. I have deleted HTC Hub with Titanium Backup earlier, does that matter? Was that just a fix in its pure meaning or a full app?

Flashed it again. After booting it said "Optimizing application 1 of 1" and then "Updating Android" and finished booting. Then when I press HTC Hub it says this error message, I press Okay and it quits hmm?
I always founded HTC Hub to just work on its own randomly.
Always did for me anyways xD. Gotta get lucky, lol.
What Rom are you using?
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
Tested on ROMs:
Ignorance V4 - Sense 4.0 Android 4.0.3
HTCdroid 1.2, 1.8 Beta - Sense 4.1 Lite Android 4.0.4
MyOneV(Tested [email protected]) - Sense 4.1 Lite Android 4.0.4
MySenseV(If works on MyOneV it probably work on this too) - Sense 4.1 Android 4.0.4
x3reme Sense v5 - Sense 4.0 Android 4.0.3
MoDaCo.one has working HTC Hub too(Sense 4.0 Android 4.0.3)
This is what I am using.
HTC ONE V GSM:
ROM: myONEv RC9.5 FX+
Kernel: 3.0.16-Titanium-KISS
Recovery: CWM Recovery Touch 5.8.3.1
Maybe I am just stupid and it works while I am not aware of it? How should this look? Something alike Google Play? Or is it just a system process which allows other HTC apps to work? Coz after it shuts down, I can see it i processes taking about 10MB of RAM

Try another ROM. Like Ignorance or HTCdroid(recommended) and check if it works. HTCdroid is the best Sense 4.1 Lite ROM. MyOneV is a bit outdated so it's time to use newer ROM. If you want Sense 4+ look install 1.8 Beta. There are only 4 bugs probably

Yeah but it freezes all the time, reboots, camera don't work and still slow. Don't get me wrong it CAN be used (and I was using it for ages)... but the cons outweigh the pros as of yet and I rather use a GB ROM, a lot faster and a lot more stable. I mean kudos to the devs they're doing a great job, but it's still early days IMO

If you are using anything but stock hboot you may have issues as Lenny does modify the rom to primarily suit stock hboot. It will work on other hboots but some apks are missing.
Look at alpharev website and flash back to stock hboot. Do a full wipe and then reflash the rom. From their you should find miui-au pretty stable

I had a problem once changing hboot. I read a few times on different forums that one should always use the "downgrade" hboot prior to changing hboot. Since then i did so, and did not have any problem anymore.

Hello guys!
I recently bought a Desire Z and I want to change my ROM cause the one I have one is slow.
I have Android Revolution HD 6.3.3 (actually I installed it) but i think it's a little slow. I had before stock ROM and I was smooth and really fast but the backup got corrupted and I couldn't restore.
So now I'm searching for a Sense ROM that is fast and doesn't lag. And instead of trying every ROM I thought you might help me.
My phone is rooted and is S-OFF so if you have any suggestions I'm ready to flash .
Thanks in advance!

with affinity, you wont be able to play games like temple run because its the most ram consuming rom ive ever tried, and i tried them all.
energy a bit better then affinity, but being sense 3.5 you wont be having more then 60mb free ram after some using.
i dont think you would like sense 4.0a roms either because of the poor battery life and screen glitches related to 3.x kernel.
imho, untill the 3.x kernels gets fixed and optimized enough, sense 2.1 is the best sense rom we can have.

Course if heavy android gaming is your thing, then I wouldn't recommend Sense at all for the rom on such a phone and rather something more along the lines of a AOSP style rom (aokp, cm, etc).
PS: The 3.0x kernel roms are always going to be slower than their 2.6.x counterparts.
I guess at the current time, if it must be Sense, shoudl go with something based off of Sense 3.5 or earlier (3.6 onward is ICS). But even 3.5 is considered reasource heavy, hence the 2.1 btrst mentioned.

Won't Jellybean ROM would be too much for specs of One V? I am just fed up with this phone being so slow and almost instantly starts lagging after a month's use. I need something lighter which will make sure this phone will run without noticeable lag.

It is the sk8erboy one. Sk8erboy is the maintainer for HTC One V Miui China. So yes it would be safe to flash. Just remember to use the CM10 Hellboy kernel.

How much time takes to install the MIUI rom?
Hi I am newbie, sorry I didnt found any similar post.

The main reasons to install MIUI is to change my phone a increase its performance, I currently have many issues with lags.

Thanks dude Something must be wrong, I am pretty sure I have left my phone booting 15 minutes but nothing happends
I have try also with paranoid and AOKP (the one of the pink unicorn) but I havent achieve to install another rom to my phone.
One more question: I want to create a new back up but TWRP doesnt allow me because It appears a message related with MD5 image.
So should format my sd card?
Thanks

Stock ROM? with TK kernel? Try overclocking and use smartassv2 governor, deadline scheduler.

Sorry for my late response, I have been pretty busy at work.
I dont know how to overclock my phone...
Just what I want is to reduce the lags of my phone either installing a new rom or making a factory reset (but this is my last option)
I tryied to install miui and AOKP but this looks they get into a boot loop...

It has a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor; it has Android 4.2 Sense 5;
I don't think anyone will be able or motivated to port.
I can do it to Desire, because i'll gonna do it to HD2, why not i do it to Desire,
Only thing i need is a Tester and a Working ION kernel for Desire

My Sense 5 HD2 project started with him, but i dont need him, I know a Super easy Way to port Sense 5, Because Desire Is the same as HD2, The method can be the same.
I just need to know Does Desire Have a Working ION kernel, if yes, I can port Desire 500 to Desire

i think you need a sense K3 with ION, don't you. and that-'s something we don't have. You may know also how to port your HD2 Kernel to our desire??

A Sense Kernel version 3.X. The Desire doesn't even have a working kernel 3. So you will have to base your ROM on kernel 2.6, which is difficult, but possible with the right set of skills.

ok let's start with the kernel. there are different versions of kernel
k 2.x.x And k3 means a Kernel with the version 3.x This one you need for Roms with Jellybean. And than is there a different between Sense and non Sense ROMs at the Kernel. So there is a K3 for non Sense, but i think ION isn't stable there.
I don't know anything about kernel, too. Otherwise i had started it. i can c, c++, a bit java, matlab and assambler But i know nothing about Kernel
==EDIT==
abaa(...)bb(..)63 was faster

First to clear thing's off, HD2 Sense 5 Port uses ASOP ION K3 kernel. Also i think it can use K2 kernel but need ION. So i think Sense 5 can be ported to Desire just by using any Kernel u guys have that have Working ION in it

Hi,
i just running a backup, to try flashing the port from aazzam16661. But there is a problem with the size of the system partition. We have 250 MB and the port has something about 350 MB -.- lib_s and app_s are on ext.
what else can i bring on ext?? i think framework works, too?
We need as much as possible. So what can all be moved to ext?? i have no idea about ext

You can move data/app, dalvik cache, data/data, system/data, system/app and/or cache to sd-ext. But this ROM needs extreme slimming.
Thank you. But where is the Thanks button? it's away

Dunno lol
I managed to flash the ROM. It doesn't go past the HTC Screen, and I can't get a logcat. USB Debugging is most probably not enabled, and the device is Offline. The PC detects the device which means that the kernel is working (No wonder here, considering it's based on Chromium's ROM).
I think that the reason it doesn't go past the HTC Screen is that the system and kernel are not compatible. The kernel needs Sense tweaks. Good luck with that OP!
I flashed the ROM on this hboot I made.
http://d-h.st/O41
It has a 355 MB system, 5 MB cache and 77 MB Data.
