Faulty usb cable

Sup Guys , i bought a s3 from my friend, but when i connect my s3 in pc , it didnt recognize ,just recharge, so , after everything possible ive done , i saw that the usb plug is faulty , missing 1 gold pin , its may will be the cause of not recognizing?

I would definitely have to say that could be the cause. Have you tried other cables to see if your phone connects?

xperia Pro charger port broken .

Help me, I bought a nexus 4 and I gave my little sister my beloved xperia pro, she actually broke the charger port itself I'm really frustrated . what should I do ?

If you still want to use charger port, I think you should bring your phone to repair service for replacement (recommended) . There is another way to charge the battery that you can remove the battery and place it into a BA700 charger (BA700 is type of the battery used in Xperia pro). You can see my attachment below for the sample image of that charger. You can search it on ebay, there are some options for you. Hope it help!

I found it for about 20$ but for that I need to open bank account for international payments and it will take time for me and I want to fix my phone.
So if someone want to sell that cable to me at low price and if there is possibility that I pay that direct to mail man when I get it or via Western Union it would be great!
Also I will be good to find some cheap shipping method as I don't want to pay shipping more than new cable. I am in Serbia if that helps for shipping information.
