Your HTC One X as NFC Tag - HTC One X

Hi Everyone,
There are new vending machines that use Mifare 1k NFC cards for payments. Since the HTC One X has NFC, I have been trying to use the phone as an NFC card/ tag but I have been unsuccessful so far. Does anyone know how to do it?

May be possible... after some time

Currently not possible to emulate NFC cards on our HTC One X, but it might be possible when we will get KitKat. We have all hardware capabilities, we need just NFC emulate capable kernel and KitKat ROM. See this.

Thanks for the info. Do we have any hope for KitKat one One X?

Currently our HOX can't do that but i asked a very experienced friend of mine and he said it would be possible with s-off and KitKAt since kitkat can emulate it :good:

Xmoo said it should work, but after he gave it a try, it didn't. The hd7 unlock cable is basically an external powered USB OTG cable+microsd usb reader+microsd card (goldcard). It's nothing you couldn't build on your own. But It won't work because the HD7 gets S-Off'ed via Goldcard. Goldcards don't work on Tegra3 devices. Sorry guys, the OP has become really massive my fault!

No. I bought my phone new on Allegro, it's polish alternative of Ebay, very popular. The description was saying that the phone is 100% unbranded, so I thought that CID is also "normal". So, I didn't know that I will have that crap CID.

I don't think Windows RT has been ported to any unofficial device yet. I'm not sure if it's possible since the OS itself is closed source., and drivers can only help so much. It would be interesting to see someone try, though.

[Q] S-OFF

Hello
I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2517712. He says, he has S-OFF on his One X. Now my Question: How can I get S-OFF on the One X. Is there a way without any costs?
Greets Thomi
No not without costs. There are certain shops in the UK, China and Russia that can do it for you......at home is a no go !
It sucks right ? And here i am almost a full year googling every day optimisticly
Waiting for an s-off method to come put and nothing is appearing i hate this phone i dont know why i bought it
