I just put the M.O.A.R. rom on my phone stock install basic settings for now but i have no internet connection can someone refer me to some changes i can make please
Also i do aplogize if this is the wrong area just could not ask on the official m.o.a.r. post due to noob status
so i found the issues that came about if this issue comes up for other people just reset the radio with ##72786# it will reinitiate the radio signal and well atleast for me brought back my 4g lte. phone will reboot a few times then gtg

It could be the built in Ad Blocker on MOAR. You can disable it.

I installed MOAR 6.0 a few days ago, there is no built in ad blocker from what I could tell.

Issues:
The multi-window toggle does not do anything.
The S Beam toggle doesn't toggle, but can be long pressed to go to setting to turn it on/off.
FC of AOSP Messaging/Stock Messaging:
Backup your messages
navigate to /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/ and delete the three mmssms files (mmssms.db, mmssms.db-shm, mmssms.db-wal)
Open the messaging app
Restore your messages
Ink effect:
Sometimes the entire screen flashes the color.
Pressing and holding doesn't work every time.
No USB connection after flash/update:
Power off (not reboot) for a few seconds. Then power back on.
Modified YouTube app:
Enable screen off playback and HD over cell network in the advanced settings
This breaks the new youtube api where apps use the "built-in" player

STEPS IF GPS DOESN"T WORK coming from AOSP/AOKP/CM:
1. Do factory reset then Flash stock ODIN
2. IF it works GREAT! IF not go to step 3.
3. Flash BACK to AOSP/AOKP/CM ROM you just came from which SHOULD enable GPS again.
4. Flash back to Rom you want (LOSERROM ) using proper factory reset/ clear procedure in OP
5. IF GPS works GREAT! If not repeat steps 1-4 again until it works.
This worked for me the first time. I was about to warranty repair my phone and tried EVERYTHING under the sun to try and get my GPS back with no success. After 2 days of trying different things this is what I did........hope it helps....

just by replacing the framework-res.apk from the rogers release i was able to get tethering to work. i'll test it some more
I tried comparing both att and rogers framework-res.apk but I'm noob enough not to see the changes but at least it a starting point, mr. skater if you get it working on the att framework-res.apk could you explain how you did it? if it not to much trouble

Found a fix for google now and viice search delete velvet.apk from system/app folder then install google search from playstore and it should work

I have used this port for about a month now before posting it. The following are my suggestions for the smoothest experience but I wanted to post it as is due to it not being my work and only a port....
Firstly I suggest flashing an alternate Touchwiz kernel or your rotation will be reversed. I suggest K-Toonz all the way. You can find his latest Touchwiz kernel here:

Hotspot hack is included but I have never used it as I don't have a use for it but please report back so others know if it does and if not I can try to find a fix

Aiigh and silly me i didn't see the tether in picture haha
My data is dropping in and out with every kernel I've used so far. Currently on kernel suggested by op. I haven't removed all the sprint stuff like you did though so that may be the issue
Edit: removing sprint stuff seems to have fixed issue. Increasing ringtone zip failed in recovery though

Most customizable rom i'v seen.
My only deal breaker is the data dropping in and out...never goes beyond two bars when its actually on.
Tried to download root explorer took five tries to make that happen and im currently not near wifi lol

This is the initial release with base mods, keep checking back as development moves forward
The rom is debloated by about 400mb
Expect better battery life, smoother UI, less lag and the usual WICKED stability & performance
This is NOT a WIP or just Apps!

Q: I am getting assert failed when I am trying to flash the rom. What should I do?
A: I have put a security command to check the models of your phone, because we have several versions for our device, and some people might flash on the wrong model.
This command makes sure you are using the right model.
If you have the right model and you still get that, you have to use PhilZ recovery:

After you flash the recovery, flash the rom agian and it will work.

Q: When I try to flash your rom I get Installation aborted, why?
A: In the latest version of Philz there is a problem with using wipes before flashing zips.
For example, if you click on "Full wipe to install clean rom" via philz or use Super Wipe, you won't be able to flash any zip until you reinstall recovery.
So the solution is:
1. Flash first the rom
2. In aroma select Full Wipe
3. Enjoy.
If you have already made full wipe /super wipe via philz, just reinstall the recovery.
