HTC Weather not updating

Does anyone else have this prob? I have tried the HTC Weather with 1hr and 3hr automatic update... but the widget on the homescreen doesnt change. If I click it - only then it updates the weather with a few sec delay.
Btw... does anyone know a weather widget that gives an 24hr forecast? That would be handier than see the actual weather.

weatherbug . htc weather widget only gets update data if its available where your located. weatherbug always works and is pretty accurate.

Anyone else facing the same problems like i do?
The weather widget does update but only the weather.. When i go to another place like fourthy miles from my hometown the weatherwidget keeps showing and updating my hometown weather and not showing the place where i am at.
and yes i did toggle find current location..
Another question, can somehow the citylist in de widget be updated with cities that are not in the list.. like small towns.. Then i can make a workaround for the first problem..

I guess the citylist is retrieved off a server... so why not try a city near your location?

Yes same issue. If you clear data it fixes it (temporarily)

This is the database from weather widget, can someone explain what tool to use, to edit? tried notepad and notepad ++ but that didn't work out.. Its a list wich you can expand with other cities based on the data wich you can find on accuweather.

[Q] About Lockscreen Notification

Hi guys, I'm new here and I just want to ask a question. Any possibility to get lockscreen notification like iPhone does? Like Twitter, Path, Instagram, message, email's notification. Swiping down a status bar, no notification pop-up on the lockscreen and had a small icons there make me squint my eyes. Thanks

With a custom rom you can add any widget into lockscreen. For example you can add the widget of messages and you can see your sms into lockscreen. This solution it's ok for you?

Actually some roms allow that. Normally, on 4.2.1 you need secure widgets, but AOKP for example allows you to put any widget on your lockscreen.

+1 JBSourcery definetly allows this now on Sprint Gnexs

which Weather app for android is most accurate? and have beautiful real looking widgets?
earlier with HTC handsets I used to get proper weather updates, like when the handset shows rain from the window i could also see rain. it was HTC's in built widget.

Try Chronus. I've been using it for years now, it's definitely my favourite. There are a few paid features but the free widgets are great. You can select from various weather providers to chose the one that's most accurate for your location. Accu Weather is best for me. Try the Chronus Flex widget. it's one of the included free widgets and works perfectly.

found NOAA and Weather Live to offer the most accurate forecast (in terms of temperature) so far.

The best for me is HD Widgets. Its beautiful, you can customize and and widgets in a way thay you want. And accuweather provides correct weather

HTC u11 weather request

Hi,
tried really hard to get and to put the HTC weather clock widgets with no luck
does anybody has a working method\link for it?
*i'm meaning for the beautiful animated weather clock.

Already exist on internet ... Just tried ... All good but without animation on change time on clock widget.
