How to export current CM wallpaper in CM? - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My current wallpaper isn't available on my current kitkat rom, but it's still set as wallpaper. So where is it located? How to export the picture? Is the only way to install older one? But if I install the right rom which has it as option, then how do I get it?
Edit: nevermind, found with googling a bit: http://clubedoandroid.com.br/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/

I would really like to know if it's possible. Had this problem a couple of times.

Chances are that cyan would put it in his RC3 release.. but i guess you would have to find someone who ripped the update from they phone and post it here..
Couldn't you just take the .apk out of the nightly .zip and replace your /system/app/ADWLauncher.apk with it?
I mean, I guess everything might not work, since he does put additional stuff in the Cyan Tweaks area, but in general I would think it should be fine.
You can download the apk that works with CM6 from here:

I have been to that site but I wasnt aware one of those links where the correct download. Which is the correct download for CM6.
Also sorry if this was the wrong forum and Ill download a nightly and see if I can rip it.
Thanks, for the help everyone.
I unziped a nightly and tried that.. lol WOW! I almost really screwed things up. So I tried installing it overtop its current and that wouldnt work. So I uninstalled ADW using titanium and bamn nothing was working.. kinda. Menue stoped working back kept taking me to odd things like the phone home didnt work search worked but i couldnt get to settings to search for an app to get back to titanium to work. Holding down home worked to get recent places and it just so happened all my recent places where the toolz I needed to get back to where i needed to be. Lol that was a close one.
Currently 1.1.2 is installed now and the only issue is that its not integrated into CM6 RC2. I mean instead of hitting one settings tab and then clicking ADW settings its now hitting menu and you got your settings or your ADW settings. No biggy. The wallpaper force closes sometimes when I tried to change it but its not persistant and can be worked around.

HELP!!!

I updated my ADW Launcher to the newest version and now it keeps crashing. I also selected to always launch with it so i cant clear the data to use Sense and uninstal ADW.
What do i do??????
What rom are you running? Stock? Rooted? How long in between crashes?
Sent from my T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide using XDA App
You might check out the ADW thread in the Android section (not individual phone sections). The issue is known but they haven't got around to fixing it yet. Give them a day or two and I'm sure it will be dealt with.
Of course that's assuming you're running 6.1 (not sure if it happens with 6.0).
the easiest way to do it would be to find a flashable .zip of adw to apply in recovery to replace the one crashing or just take the apk from cyanogenmod rom (any rom) and push it to system/app in recovery... so when you reboot you will get to pick wich launcher to start by default again... that has happened to me several time but with rosie launcher (sense) when trying to change the looks of it and thats how i fix it every time xD

[Q] Minor ROM Updates - Restore Interface Easily

I currently have ARHD 5.1.10 installed and when it comes out officially will install 5.1.11. What is the best (easiest and quickest) way to restore my widgets, icons and scenes to the way I have them now?
With ROM's being updated on such a regular interval there must be a one-click method?
Just backup in cwn if you want to, then flash the new ROM right on top of the old one. That way you'll keep all apps, settings etc.
Surely flashing a new ROM would wipe out my screens and replace with the "base" new one? I understand all the apps will be there but what about the layout of the icons?

I flashed the latest ARHD 5.1.11 and of course the screens all changed to the base ROM versions. I then used Titanium Backup Pro to restore Apps and System. All the icons appeared in the same places as I had set them up in 5.1.10 however all of the widgets were "broken". I use Multicon so I have a lot of widgets so this was no good.
I Nandroided back to 5.1.10 and all is back to the way it was.
Is it possible to get back you previous icon and widget arrangement after flashing a new ROM? Titanium Backup Pro almost worked. Perhaps I chose the wrong restore method or option or do you have to sit there after each flash and painstakingly manually restore the icons/widgets after a flash. The missus is getting a little fed up!
What are your experiences?

[Q] After root, stock ROM re-install and de-clutter, live wallpapers are missing.

I recently got an S3, I rooted and installed the stock AT&T rom and then ran the Ashaman debloat tool. I never tried to access live wallpapers before or during this process, but I see they are missing. When I go to display settings and go to change the wallpaper, my only options are Gallery and Wallpapers, no Live Wallpapers. I've seen on others' S3 phones this is usually an option. Also, I found the apks for some of the default live wallpapers and tried to install those. They installed fine but when I tried to run one, it showed a pop up message that said something like "It looks like like wallpapers are not available on this device! Please check with the manufacturer..."
Does anyone know if I may have unintentionally uninstalled live wallpaper support? Or how to manually install it back in?

I'm guessing this is the cause.

Odin back to stock. Root. Try again (omitting the Live wallpaper option).

[Q] Messed Up Root...

Hi, i have recently tried to root my Galaxy S3 SGH-I747M for Bell, and had the wrong launcher flashed. So i restored system defaults, and now it says that i can not receive software updates...? Why is this and how can i fix it? If someone could get back to me that would be great! :fingers-crossed:
Your post makes next to no sense...
The launcher has nothing to do with system updates and is not something that is flashable. I.e. Trebuchet that comes with Cyanogen Mod, Nova launcher or Apex which can be downloaded from the play store.
If you did manage to achieve root, then you obviously will not be able to receive OTA updates from your carrier. You're using unsigned/unofficial firmware and they just do not mix.
System defaults are settings based on per app decisions you can make as to what apps will handle what activities. It has nothing to do with root, flashing ROMs, or any of that stuff.
Please give us more information to work with and try to be more clear with what info/type of help you're looking for.
