[Q] SM-T210 Tab 3 7" MHL to HDMI(TV-Out) Capabilities

Hi Guys
I got this SM T210 (wifi only) tab and I'm wondering if this really has a TV-out feature via MHL to HDMI.
It really is not clear for me because some sites says it has but other says it doesn't.
I was wondering if anyone here has the same tab as mine and has gotten this feature working for them.
If it work for you can you please also indicate what model of the cable you are using.
Thanks
The official specs on samsung's site make no mention of HDMI.

Yep, that is why it is really confusing. If you look here at the MHL to HDMI cable here
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/ET-H10FAUWEGUJ-compatible
it clearly says that it is compatible with Galaxy tab 3 7" (Gold brown color w same specs as the white).
and also here on this link
http://www.abt.com/product/71046/Samsung-ETH10FAUWEGUJ.html
if you look at the docs of that cable. it states that this is for all 2013 Galaxy tab 3 devices including the 7" version.
Hopefully somebody has gotten this to work because I really need this feature on my tab.

About MHL (TV Out) capabilities:
http://www.samsungmobilepress.com/2013/06/03/Samsung-Introduces-New-GALAXY-Tab-3-Series-1
suggest you buy a MHL to HDMI adapter to test it. If it works, that will be great. if not, you can return the MHL to HDMI to the vendor.

Hi, I am sorry to tell you the bad news. I asked Samsung online service about your question that whether the micro USB port of tab 3 7.0 supports MHL function via live chat of Samsung.com. They told me that only tab 3 8.0 and tab 3 10.1 features a micro USB port with MHL/HDMI functionality like Samsung Galaxy S4,S3 and Note 2.

Aw... Now I don't know what to do with this tab anymore. I really need the MHL tv out capabilities so when I travel I can make this as my Portable TV box.
Anyways. Thanks for all the help. I guess I'll just sell this and buy another tab.
what if you root it or something? would that work?
you can get this to kinda work by putting a kit Kat rom on it. all kit kat roms have miracast. it's not exactly mhl (wireless instead of wired) but it serves the same function

Galaxy tab 3 10.1 refurbished

Hello everyone, hope someone can help me, I bought a refurbished galaxy tab 3 10.1 from ebay.
The tab runs smooth in general the trouble I find is that does not recognice my usb otg cables or keyboard, I have a galaxy s3 that does support usb otg and have tried 3 different ubs otg cables and a keyboard and none is recogniced by the tab but yes on the GSIII.
Today while trying to view a video from the chrome browser got a message html5: video file not found. so I tried the stock browser and while I don't get any message it doesn't plays the video.
¿can someone confirm if the usb otg is supported? and lecture me about the html5 issue.
or did I get a faulty unit.
Thanks and sorry for my english is not my native language.

Tab 3 with mouse, keyboard and ethernet via USB OTG.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that I want to use ethernet, mouse and keyboard with to do remote desktop work. Is there anyway I can do this? I see that there's a Samsung USB LAN hub for the Note Pro/Tab Pro line of tablets but I'm wondering if this will work with the Tab 3.
If not i'm wondering if a hub can be connected to the tablet that would then allow the connecting of the usb mouse, keyboard and a usb ethernet adapter. These are the two products I'm currently looking at but im not sure if they are compatible.
Samsung Original LAN USB HUB Adapter (ET-UP900) for Galaxy Note Pro /Tab Pro
[3 Ports USB 3.0 + 1 Adapter ethernet] Unitek
I can't post links as yet. They can be easily found with a query in Amazon.

I am sure keyboard and mouse will work on otg cable as long as they got enough power (I have tried it) and for WLAN or Ethernet cables you will need to modded kernel to do it.
More info here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705323 (its for p5210 though)

thanks Jack. Im using my older account that I just got access to. It allows me to post link so yeah Im the same as joeldean.I havent gotten a response from that person as yet. I was wondering if you know anyone willing to help me modify a Tab 3 kernel to add ASIX drivers. Based on my research the ASIX ethernet based adapters seem to be most compatible. I would even be willing to pay to get this done.

Can galaxy s4 mini is able to Use DAC Included Earphone?

Hi, I'm very glad that I joined in this forum and writing on questions. I want to give thanks to all of XDA-developers Members.
I'm Korean. Yesterday when I searching Online Shopping Mall, I found the Good Earphone Includes DAC. It has to connect through Micro 5pin port to smartphone. So I started finding small smartphone to use instead MP3P. So I'm thinking now what I should choose between S4 mini or Galaxy Alpha. What a long story ;;; -.-
-----------------------------------------------------------
Now, here is my questions!
1. Can I use This Earphone with S4 mini?
2. Searching google, If i install F4ktion kernel on
s4 mini, I could Enable OTG. Why this is
Possible? What I know is The Hardware system
Should supports OTG function. (It is means the
software dosen't effects enable OTG?)
3. Why I should Use Y OTG cable to use OTG
devices with S4 mini? isn't it Works Just
connecting Smartphone's Port&Earphone?
4. Will earphone work(connect) perfectly?
I'm verry sorry that my english skill is poor so maybe you can't understand quickly what I wanna say... But I really need everybody's advice.
Please help me?
The earphone's product name is "AW-M100" (also known as 오디오웍스 타이탄플랫폼 Dac 이어폰)
