Using mobile odin pro and flashing. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Ok I downloaded the modem.bin file. I'm on wicked v8 Rom 4.2.2. What I'm wanting to know is the procedures on flashing correctly for those that don't have access to a computer. I'm new to this mobile odin and I really don't want to mess up anything.

Open Mobile Odin app, scroll down to modem#2 slot and click on it. Brows to where your modem.bin file is store on your phone and click on it. Scroll down to flash firmware and click on it, let it do it's thing.
If mobile odin get you to the download mode screen, press and hold power button for about 10 sec till it get you to mobile Odin screen. After it's done let phone reboot and check your baseband. Note: I had to do it twice as the first time it did not work.

Gotcha. Stand by. I'm gonna give it a effort. Lol. So if I don't have sound then what?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app

If you're only flashing the modem.bin you shouldn't have the sounds issue. If you do just Odin back the mdl modem

+1 to mobile Odin
Your issue could be one of two things (assuming you have the correct drivers) either the version of Odin you're trying to use is outdated or your usb cable/port may not be functioning properly.
Just to verify, you're powering your phone off, holding power and volume down to enter download mode and selecting the option to flash a custom binary correct?
If yes, try another cable if you have one, or another usb port on your PC to rule out those factors. The yellow com port should light up letting you know you're connected.
Also try a newer version of Odin if you're not already running it.
If all else fails, mobile Odin is definitely worth the money:thumbup::beer:

If you're looking for stock unrooted gb08 you can use the full Tar file, but if you want a rooted custom ROM you need to flash a zip

Need ODIN Image for Non Booting Phone - Not TWRP Image

I am needing an Odin image (rooted or not) to get my phone up and running again. I can only get to the downloading screen , not the TWRP Screen. Can someone point me to an image for ODIN. I see tons of firmware for flashing in TWRP but I need an ODIN one,

If you made a backupour stock rom after su setup and custom recovery then yes you can as long as you are on the same bootloader the stock rom was on. Just restore after a thorough full wipe and use the the triangle away tutorial from the point after you should have opined back to stock, installed custom recovery and su. But you should Odin back anyways because this is unfounded and gremlins don't like to be aborted. Just remember you want to send your phone in for warranty and you want to eliminate all modded softwares and Odin will eliminate the leftovers!
You can try this
http://www.androidrootz.com/2013/06/how-to-unroot-galaxy-s4-without.html
Every time that I try to download the tar.md5 stock file it keeps saying bad file size.what would cause that.I tried downloading the file twice with no luck. Thanks

[Q] Where to get the NB4 Bootloader?

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to know if anyone had the NB4 Bootloader.
Yes I know it has KNOX but I want to flash the LTE non-hlos file w/o having sound problems so the bootloader needs to match the modem.
If anyone can direct me to where to get it that would be great!
Cheers!
..BTW..
I have already tried odining back to the NB4 firmware and it didn't flash the Bootloader.
Just flash the 4.4 stock image using Odin. You can get it at sammobile.com.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
You could also just accept the 4.4 update.

Well Im sure that i know how to use odin lol.
But right now the baseband is NB4
but the bootloader is still knox free meaning that it is the MDL bootloader and not the NB4 one.
Try a different version of Odin and/or download 4.4 again.

Could also start by Odin flashing 4.3 with the mk2 bootloder and then flashing 4.4 with the nb4 bootloader.

Could always Odin flash to stock 4.3 and accept the update.

I had the same issue. I found a few other posts regarding flashing the Modem in Odin and people have suggested to flash that twice in a row. I applied that logic to flashing the firmware and it worked.
Here's what I did in detail:
Downloaded the NB4 4.4.2 rom from sammobile (not the Fenny fixed version)
Put the phone in download mode
Fired up Odin. Picked the rom. UNchecked "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time". Then ran the update.
Once Odin was done flashing, the phone stayed in Download mode, so I manually powered the phone off (press and hold power) and turned it on and made it go into download mode. It'd probably be good to unplug the phone before powering down to avoid the phone trying to get into charge mode. Note: This is an important step. The phone must not boot into anything other than Download mode after you flashed it the first time. If you missed it, you will have to start at the beginning.
Flashed the Rom again, this time with the "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" options on.
I know it takes longer, but there isn't a "bootloader only" option out there, it seems. I did do some research into finding a way to make one, but there is a significant risk to testing it out, so I didn't really want to do that
Hope that helps

Sorry to tell you this but you can no longer odin back to stock official NE6.
You cannot downgrade the firmware once you odin flashed the NB4, NE6
or the NF1 firmware, you can only upgrade if and when there is an update.
You can re-flash the official stock Tmobile 4.4.2 NF1 firmware using Odin.
Good luck!
Yes you can Odin back to stock NE6

Make sure you have an official NE6 firmware from T-Mobile... Use latest version of Odin
I rooted using the NE6 to NF1 method...now my phone won't dial without 2 or 3 tries...is this typical? I didn't have any dialing issues before I did this.

Possible. You can flash the bootloader in odin on the pc. That should fix it.
I had everything flash right but the csc folder was missing and caused some problems.
No wifi calling, no hd calling, no long press keys on the keyboard, some browsers problems also.
So try to flash the nf1 bootloader via odin.
Then download the csc folder put it on the phones system.
I don't remember the dir. But it should be /system/csc
