As the title suggest, I have been looking for a version of the 4-in-1 reboot menu that works with the stock 4.1.2 ROM (aka MD4), but so far I have not found any version which specifically states that it works on this rom so I thought I would ask the experts here if they knew of a version of the mod that I can flash and works on the stock ROM?

I am questing from the lack of replies that a working version of this kind of app does not exist for 4.1.2 I guess it's time I take the plunge and update my phone with a 4.3 rom.

I don't think there is an app or a flashable zip...I can send a link that explains how to mod it urself.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2125196 most of the ROMS that are out now do have this mod incorporated within them.

Hello,
I have gotten some great help here on xda and have tried different modems (MD4 works best, MK3 caused battery drain, MB1 no service) I have been told to flash a touchwiz ROM and grab the APN then flash back to CM. I have not been able to find a touchwiz ROM that will work and on top of that, all the download sites have really annoying adware. Can anyone point me in the direction of a TWR that will work on my phone so I can get LTE finally?

flash a TW rom thats the same version as your current cm (4.3?), that should work no matter what

do that install the recovery and the root access. setup do the apn like we talked about. then go back to your backup of cm and either keep md4 modem or flash mk3.

ya that link will place you back to stock. just flash the recovery and root zip after and before reboot. reboot . run the setup. go through that. will fix alot of issues. as well as you can get your apn. fyi tw 4.3 rom is pretty sweet as well. im running the stock 4.3 now. runs great.

That's new stock rooted 4.3 fantastic so far.
is there a stock att 4.3 rom that is already rooted? i see something similar over at the android dev section but it was based on the leaked version and not the official one. so if you have or know where to get it, please post link. thank you

No not yet I think mr robinson is working on it but you can easily root your phone using cf auto root.

It has a couple different Roms with the newest 4.3 ota firmware WITHOUT flashing the bootloaders. I personally had used LoserSkaters version and enewmans version with no real issues at all (other than I cannot flash my vr theme, but that might be something on my end). As far as being stable and everything working I have no problems.

hi i see you using i747m and I have a problem or a question you just installed cyanogen mod on my samsung sgh i747m s3 but display increased consumption up to 70% wanted to know why and also have another question that does not bring the system settings as limiting processes and overclocking put a little less so that is not forced nor brings battery saving I would like to have those two options in cm7 when handling it but this had not anyone know how to put these two options?

First of, don't hijack threads, if you have a question start a new one.
And second, this is the reason I don't use cynanogen mod. There's a lot of random bugs.
And third, you might want to update to the latest version of cynanogen mod. Cm7 is pretty old.

I thought i disabled this setting but apparently I didn't :/ So my question is how can I update my phone to 4.3 without going through sprint? I thought It was not a good idea to perform OTA updates? Flash this in recovery it will stop the the update notifications. If ur patient dazed is working on 4.3. If u want a stock 4.3 rom. U can go to android development there are a few roms you can flash that do not have knox and you can flash to see what the update is about. Personally I'd wait for dazed because the update just isn't that impressive to me IMHO.

Correct, modems are in place for all partitions so updating it will apply to all slots
Is the only way to update the kernal on the retail edition to take the OTA?

So just to make sure that I understand this response correctly, if I back up my current stock slot [Running B4 in Stock slot], flash this ROM over it, then restore the backup I just made, would I pretty much be all set with the JE update?

Flashing via safestrap only updates the framework to the latest build so I believe you'd still have the old kernel and modem. As far as I know, (correct me if I'm wrong @beanstown106), since our bootloader is locked we have to use Odin to flash modems & kernels.

Gah,...that's a bummer.
I'm looking at how to unroot and was worried I'd softbrick the phone or something if I flashed an older/incompatible firmware
I made a backup of my original stock TW installation, but when I hit the Update button in About Phone, my Settings app just force closes and stops responding.

BE ADVISED: More than likely if you are rooted and you go back to stock and flash this ROM, you will NOT be able to root right away, and Free Gee probably will not work, so if this is important to you. Do NOT flash this ROM OTA. wait till the dev's come up with a rooted version.
