[Request] KitKat BIOS Boot Animation - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Was wondering if someone can make one of those neat BIOS boot animations for KitKat? I know we had one for Ice Cream Sandwich (which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409933), and the Nexus 5 got one (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2555485) and I think it'd be pretty cool if we got an updated one for KitKat. Just a thought of course, if someone can do it that'd be awesome and it'd be much appreciated but if not that's completely fine

I'm interesed too

Me too! I really!!!! want this!

thank you very useful

I can try. Which one or what do you want? I cant promise anything and it may take a while.

i'd really want to see that too. looking forward to it.

I tried modifying the ICS version. No luck for me. I matched up the Fixedsys text, but couldn't get the text sizes to match up. Tried in Paint.NET and Microsoft Paint. Gave up. Would love to see this though.

Let me think of a way to make it without increasing too much of file size. Thanks for the feedback

Alright. That will definetly make me buy it. I like darker backgrounds less battery drain and is easier on eyes. Thanks for taking it into consideration.

I think it cm10. Its the newest cyanogenmod boot animation I've seen. Looks pretty badass on my galaxy s3. Just place in system/media change permissions to rw/r/r. Then reboot

I like the alien because it reminds me of what might be an android logo on steroids. I wish someone would make an animation of the green android logo going super saiyan and turning into the cyanogenmod alien. Or maybe evolving in the pokemon fashion.
a gif of the animations would be much appreciated
that android looks awkward =[
lol did anyone except me notice that the new cyanogen mascot seems like tele tubies... lol really sick XD
Lol Teletubbies dude..
Funny ish!

I can confirm that. But I can also confirm if you already have a picture you want to edit that works 100%.
I added in the missing libxxxx.so file, but still not working. I don't think it likes our cam sensor. Oh well.
Cool. I use Sketchguru. Will try this out.

I discover this app installing CodenameSammy-1.2 and now every time I install a new Rom on my Nexus 7 need to include this app, my Top 25 apps thanks very mush for this amazing apps
Same thing scrambled picture.

I believe it. The understanding I got this past update was too shut us up about the issues and bugs. So LG can get the phone ready for 4.3 later this year

Lols know that I believe ... Damn if they would fix things in a timely manner it wouldn't be so bad...

I'm confused. Does this have any bearing on us Optimus G owners? It just looks like an OS release schedule, without any implications on whether we'll get updates from LG. Either way, cool to see that 4.4 isn't too distant.
Its googles release schedule .. So it gives a pretty good idea when kitkat comes out.... Hopefully their won't be tons of threads about it since everyone can look here and see ... I will update as I learn more ...

thats also the release date of the Nexus 5, but they are both rumored anyway
also i read new animations and a pull down menu is in stored for Kit Kat as well

That would be awesome ... Android needs to start becoming more unified and clean up some of its coding ... But that's just me I'm not Google so who knows lol

It's all java now, no images are used in KitKat anymore. I know cm has then defined in colors and arrays xml's. Not sure about AOKP.

Not sure, many Themers like myself are not happy about it. Not one battery mod for KitKat yet so I'm guessing no.

Using Xposed you can get an app called gravity box which allows you to change it to a couple different things. I use just the text option in gravity box as seen in the status bar
