Thanks! Downloading now.
Edit: I know nightly releases come out fast, but to rule out bad downloads do you all provide MD5s for your nightlies?

We do not but that's not a bad idea. I'll bring it up with the team. Thanks :good:
Awesome going to download when I get home from work, haven't used Gummy since I had a Nexus S 4g. It was my go to rom

This is in no way official, but for the 12-10-13 Nightly build for D2spr I downloaded the file twice to verify consistency over wired internet from the link provided and I got:
MD5: ddf85e430a485bea040d35da9af6789c
I just posted this for people who are going to download it and can ensure the download is good before flashing it. I was having a problem a few days ago with Android File Host, but I think since I got the same checksum twice this might be the correct one. I hope this helps someone and @hedwig34 feel free to add this to the OP if you can verify the same MD5. I'm going to check my PA-Gapps and flash this bad boy!
Wifi is broken on 12-11, otherwise setup went normally. Clean install. I need wifi, so can't test other features right now... Thx, OP. Glad to see Gummy back in the game! :good:
I can say definitively that 12-10-13 is running great on my phone. Wifi, 3g, front and rear cameras, and the ROM overall is very smooth. I especially like the smooth transition I'm getting between swiping left for Google Now and back to the home screen. I expected my phone to react slowly, but it didn't. I really don't want to flash 12-11-13 just in case it does have an issue Great work on this ROM, you and your team did a really great job.

Just flashed 12-11-13 with a clean wipe and I had Wi-Fi during setup. I'll keep testing the 12-11 build, but so far it seems stable.
Running this on my galaxy nexus. Never thought it would be available for this device too. Awesome! Downloading now

EDIT: Had Screen little screen flickering after i activated Dev Settings; as a press a key on the keyboard it would go black following along with the haptic. not sure if that makes any sense, but i did had screen flickering when typing. nothing major, just some observations. running latest nightly btw
I'm on 12/11 and never been smoother the first install had some glitches in screen when swiping but i flashed ktoonzes and its a solid.. It could be a issue with stock kernel

Weird... I installed 12-10 clean (same wipe as 12-11) and have working wifi. Tried to then dirty up to 12-11 and lost wifi - it stalls out "looking for wifi." Same as on the clean install. Also getting graphical glitches regarding text fields. SwiftKey doesn't F/C, but screen blacks out and reverts home from GNow or Play Store or wherever... Using latest CWM and stock kernel, then trying BMS as a fix.

Apparently this ROM was made for my phone. I also use swiftkey and it's been working well. I did attempt to use leankernel and got some screen flickering so I flashed back to the stock kernel. I'm not sure why I'm having all the luck. I was on Touchwiz prior to this ROM and I erased my internal storage before flashing this. That is the only thing I could think that I might have done differently from you all. I also let the ROM settle longer than 10 minutes (I was watching Family Guy), maybe it gives Wi-Fi a little longer to set up?
Edit: I found the black-screen bug you were talking about. I wasn't noticing it in SMS, but when I went to type in a search under the play store and swiftkey opened it happened 3 times in a row and then stopped altogether. I checked my logs, but nothing suspicious showed. I got some screen flickering when using the browser with swiftkey, but it seems like swiftkey is the culprit because I used the AOSP keyboard and there was no screen flicker. Good catch guys, I hope Swiftkey releases an update for 4.4.1 since I can't find it listed as supported under their changelog.
Lovely Rom... Only thing I would can't find is how to change the lock screen background.??
Can it be done?

I think because the lockscreen is transparent it doesn't have its own wallpaper setting like Touchwiz has. I did go through and look, but I didn't see any options to change it.

If you wipe data before flashing you will have to set up again. Whether you wipe data or not you will still need to flash gapps.
That said. Wiping data is recommended.

Wanted to report two bugs I encountered on 4.4.2 from the 12-12-13 Nightly:
- When running AnTuTu benchmark I get a reboot between 14-21% into a full test. Initially I was able to get the test to pass by killing Android Tuner and spamming the screen every few seconds, but now that method fails as well.
- I installed ChompSMS to act as my default messenger app and when I choose it as default the AOSP messenger app notification appears at the top and won't go away unless I select it as default, clear it, and then re-enable Chomp. Nevermind, this one was caused by the random reboot caused by AnTuTu (it didn't save my settings after the hard reboot and I had a pending message).
I did install with a clean wipe (system, data, cache), no custom kernel, and only a few programs restored from backups.
Can anyone else verify these issues?
I tried running 12-12 but everytime I try to call the number for the data it says its unsuccessful? Any help?

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

How to change an apps Layout and size
Questions And Answers
Does 4G, 3G, WiFi, GPS work?
Yes all of the above work fine.
Does everything that works on CM10, work on this rom?
Yes. If it works on CM10 it will work on Paranoid Android.
but if it do not work in CM10 it WILL NOT WORK on Paranoid Android!
How do I change my DPI on this ROM?
Go to Settings> Paranoid Settings.
In this option You will find the following options:
Work space> this is where you can have your phone look like a tablet and others....
Apps> this is where you can change any APPS DPI. Example: This means you can run your phone on stock 240 DPI, and make lets say Gmail look like the tablet version of the app by setting the Gmail.apk to 128 DPI!
Backup And Restore> Backup your Paranoid Android Settings And Restore it!
Help> Do I need to explain what this option does?? lol
I'm on a different rom (calks 3.0, the goodness, el29 Stock rom, CM10, AOKP, CM9) how do I got about flashing this rom?

I know it say's Gapps: recommended: 10/11 Gapps however any issues gapps-jb-20121212 or NXT GEN 4.2 Gapps Odex?
OK I was to quick however gapps-jb--20121212 kept saying keyboard AOSP not rtesponding and FC'ing as well as play market error. Since keyboard error thought I would flash KDH NXT GEN 4.2 Odex and only issuw was play market error went to systems-apps-play market clear settings and then opened play market accept and opened as usual.
Update: Google Play said some apps not for my device decided to just flash recommended 10/11 gapss and did not make any other changes and now all apps are compatible and I didn't make any settings changes like I've done in the past.
I would say use recommended 10/11 gapps.

Been running this since Alpha 3. It has been running great! I currently have it paired with Fancy Kernel R37-5 and it has been great.
Sweet!! With Franco r390 this is boss. Only complaint is low notification sound and it appears my vibrate isn't working. I know lore sound is a nexus thing.. But even cm appears louder... Any thing I can do to remedy this?

Try another Kernel. I don't have either of those issues running Fancy. My notification sound is no different than 4.2.2 and my vibrate notifications def. work.
Wiped, Formatted /System/ Clean Flash/ Flashed GAPPS. Working great so far.
I LOVE the look of increased resolution with the dark inverts. It looks so damn clean! +++
Ran into a few issues with updating google apps. Had to go into the SlimCenter to manually delete a few of them, REBOOT, then was able to redownload from the market.

You didn't run into issues it's normal that this happened.
You won't be able to update the Gapps if you use our gapps.
Because the of the feature to invert them.
However you can use the AROMA addon and then you'll be able to choose between the modified or the original gapps.

Maybe a kernel issue or a bad download? Make sure to check the md5 when you download roms.
I flashed from Baldwin 4.3 and went through the following steps:
1. Run Revolution Galaxy Nexus Superwipe zip
2. Install slim
3. Install gapps etc
4. Odex the rom
5. Clear cache/dalvik
6. Reboot
No issues at all

Maybe a kernel issue or a bad download? Make sure to check the md5 when you download roms.
I flashed from Baldwin 4.3 and went through the following steps:
1. Run Revolution Galaxy Nexus Superwipe zip
2. Install slim
3. Install gapps etc
4. Odex the rom
5. Clear cache/dalvik
6. Reboot
No issues at all

Just in case he decides to do the same thing as you there should be one more step before odex (which is optional anyway), always get all your customizing done BEFORE you odex since you might not be able to change things afterwards
Just installed this, very impressed with all the features in it already. Thank you!!!
I'm having one issue though I can't get LCD density over 245. Anyone else???
Edit: never mind, changed to 480 and then back down to 320 and it worked.

Android 4.3.1 ROM based on Cyanogenmod 10.2 nightlies
Tweaked for performance and battery life while retaining a stock CM experience. This rom is for the people out there who love CM and want to see it fly.
Want to see this rom go even faster? Use Nova or Apex launcher, and, inside developer options, set window animation scale, transition animation scale, and animator duration scale all to 0.5x.
Additions like HALO are not included to keep the bloat down, but can be included in future releases upon popular demand. I'm open to all suggestions or requests.
Changes from CM:
performance tweaks
network speed tweaks
sd read/write tweaks
other build.prop changes
zipaligned
init.d script support
uber kernel
compiled with linaro
custom boot animation
Viper Audio
removed stock apps:
CMFileManager.apk
CMWallpapers.apk
DSPManager.apk
LiveWallpapers (removed all live wallpapers, but live wallpaper picker left in place so you can still use your own)
(Think any other stock apps are just bloat and can be removed? Let me know)
Installation Instructions:
Warning: by installing this rom you accept all risks of modifying your phone. If anything goes wrong, whether it be bricking the phone or Godzilla attacking you, you take full responsibility.
Must be on a newer recovery and baseband, same deal as all other 4.3 roms.
1. Download the rom and 4.3 GAPPS to your phone.
2. Full wipe (cache, dalvik, system and data) if coming from a different rom or Android version, only cache and dalvik wipe if upgrading from a previous version of this rom or from stock CM
3. Install the rom
4. Install the GAPPS
5. Install any other kernels or mods you like (I'm personally a fan of the Fly On Mod)
6. Reboot. Wait until it finishes and boots up fully
Optional: 7. Give it 10 minutes to settle.
Recommended: 8. Install TricksterMod and change the governor from interactive. I prefer InterectiveX or OnDemandX, both of which go nicely with sio

Viper Audio Tips
Run the Viper app to set up the audio. You can choose between regular ound quality, super quality, or battery saving quality.
If you want to use any other sound mods along side Viper (I'm a fan of Noozxoide), be sure to go into the Viper app, hit the settings key and turn on the "compatible mode"
Want better sound quality? Check out the Impulse Response Sampling starter pack here: http://vipersaudio.com/blog/?page_id=115
Head to Viper's homepage for more info about this awesome mod: http://vipersaudio.com/blog/
Special Thanks: To Cl3Kener, for his Uber kernel and his awesome Develop Now! guide.
To Team Chopsticks, and the Cyanogenmod crew.
To fcortes626, ViPER520 and zhuhang.
To Samsung, Google, XDA, and anyone else I forgot to mention (let me know and I'll add you to the list)

There's an issue with the current version that may cause some overheating and lowers performance, building a fixed version now. It should be up soon!
By the way, themes used in the screenshot (not included since they're from the Play store) Hologlass [beta] (which is free) and Minimal UI for the icons (costs 1.50, and is worth it). Launcher is Nova Launcher.

Lol, what?
EDIT: OP updated with new download link (or get it here: https://copy.com/zaO810YHgIMG ). I'd recommend wiping system if you've already flashed 10-23-13 (data should be fine, doesn't need to be wiped).
Thanks for providing us with yet another choice to flash. If I end up in rehab because I can't quit flashing I'm going to blame all the XDA Dev's.
I did a full wipe while installing but during the initial set-up I kept getting SOD's and freeze ups. I wiped and re-flashed several times but ended up with the same results. Any suggestions on what to try next? Thanks again for this.
That's odd, I didn't have any issues with the initialization thing. Is it locking up on a specific page? Maybe try giving it a few minutes to settle, then reboot and initialize once it starts back up again. This might be an issue with how the rom is using the default governor, performance is oddly bad until you change it from interactive.

That makes sense. I've read where some ROMs don't perform well until you change the governor. Through out my attempts I was able to get to the home screen only once. I usually let it settle for 5 minutes. I'll let it settle for 10 and see how it goes.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
Edit: Still no go. Same thing as before. I made it as far as downloading Trickster and was able to change the governor and it ran for a few minutes then froze on me. Not sure what else to do.
That's really odd, I've been running the rom just fine :/ It's freezing up after initialization as well? But still, thanks for still trying out the rom and letting me know about the issues Building a new version now, it should be posted early tomorrow. Changes include cm update, linaro update, and even more build.prop tweaks. It should be much faster than the current version!
Edit: On a side note, mind if I ask which recovery and gapps you're using? I'm on twrp 2.6.1.0, with the regular 20130813 signed gapps, and lag at initialization was noticable but not cripplingly bad. No freezes or reboots for me either :/
Edit again: New download link is up in the op, or get it here: https://copy.com/dgUwgEErqVnl
Let me know how the performance is!
New version seems to be much quicker than before! I tried a full wipe with it and had no lag at all, not even with the default governor.

New twrp being 2.6.1.3 or .4? I've heard some people complain about issues with it, from what I could tell 2.6.1.0 seemingly being more stable. But the newest update for the rom is much more responsive, just give it a try and let me know how it goes

Yeah I ran it earlier. It was actually pretty solid with Xbox's kernel, but after I deleted all the system apps I don't use and wiped data, I couldn't get past the setup screen, just kept getting a FC and back to the language selection menu. I know how to get around that, should've just left the mokee setup wizard apk in there so I could get past the menu, but I just went back to Carbon instead Like I said though, it was pretty solid. Everything that I needed worked and it was quite snappy.

I was just looking at this the other day in the international optimus threads. This is awesome. I'm going to check it out now.
EDIT:
Tried it out but couldn't get very far into it,
Any idea why I keep getting Force closes for the keyboard, and I can't use it at all? I tried switching to all of them and it just kept FC'ing.

I am still having keyboard issues. It is a constant force close on the keyboard. It happens right after I press next to skip setup and never stops.
Just tried on newest version. I installed the ROM, installed gapps, clear cache, clear dalvik, wipe data (all at different times, different combinations of each). Everything I thought I could and it still gives the error.
OK, so it seems that everything runs fine without installing gapps. But I use the ones from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942 and they have never given problems. I use the micro modular package and it isn't even supposed to have google keyboard in it so what's going on? Any thoughts?

I really wanted to use this ROM and I'm having the same issues. Any gapps I install causes Google keyboard to repeatedly force close. I installed the ls970 release if it matters.I'll be using carbon until a solution is found.

Would you care to enlighten us on which apps are in that 17 mb package? The ones I use are the smallest of the available ones from the usual place ^^ the one I mentioned above. And they are 86 +- MB.
Also, is there another mirror somewhere? I am not getting anything from any of the options available on android file host. I looked on the mokee website and couldn't find anything or anything about specific gapps.

I have found on other Mokee pages like this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395730 that banks gapps works. I installed the minimal package and was able to use the rom to it's potential. I can use the keyboard, no instant force closes. google account works and no issues yet.
here is the link that is in that post for banks gapps. goo.im/devs/BaNkS/GApps/4.4.2
They work.

PA can run on KK Baseband but I think this Rom is not.
After all the issues I took my phone back too complete stock via kdz and tot, I upgraded all the way to KitKat baseband, used ioroot, and autorec to root and custom recovery, I then flashed my ROM. I have experienced none of the issues. Users having issues please provide a logcat. Also you should be using twrp to flash this ROM. Rom and gapps should only be flashed during install.
