[Q] Fastest way to root note 10.1 P605 - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) Q&A, Help & Troubl

I want to use root dela vega but when i want to download stock rom on sammobile, i have to pay premium on the file server that their using (hotfile is now close) just to download the rom. And it takes forever on my country to download it because of large file size?
So is there anyway much faster to root my P605?
Does flashing twrp via odin will root my P605?
Is there any cf auto root for P605?

One more question? Does screen mirror still work on all share cast dongle after root?
Sent from my SM-N9005

You can find the recovery in original android development section in this forum, under twrp recovery or something like this. I did not try sharecast or mirroring my screen because i deleted all those files right after i rooted my device. But my guess is that sharecast wont work.

If you mean stock update then yes

So what can be done so we do don't lose root?

Mobile Odin can be set to inject root while flashing - but ...
If you are pre 4.12 and need to fix the SDS problem then apparently Mobile Odin doesn't flash the boot which is needed.
So if you are pre 4.12 and need the protection from SDS, then just flash and re-root it with CF Autoroot (takes about 5 minutes)
Or look at my signature download that prerooted rom OR our beloved dr.ketans prerooted rom x)
Ive used his guide to make a prerooted rom. U will gain root access + warranty

You have to flash with Mobile Odin for Everroot to work
Just upgrade and loose root.
Then root again. I did it and have root back after upgrading

Mobile Odin is an app created by Chainfire , it's in the Play Store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.mobileodin.pro&feature=search_result
It allows you to flash directly on your device without a PC. It flashes from the SD Card directly.
One of the features it includes is "Everroot". This injects root directly into any new firmware that you flash.

Root injected stock rom?

I'm thinking about getting s4 and I wonder if there is Mr Robinson Root 66 for Galaxy S4? I'm currently using that root method on my Note 2. Can someone share some info because I couldn't find any links.

No, there isnt. But chainfire's auto root is just as easy.
I mean... can it get any easier than flashing cwm and su in odin? It takes 2 minutes...

Note 2 after 4.3 won't let me root.

I updated my galaxy note 2 till 4.3 but i want to put a mod on it or a rom to give me the note 3 features on it and I don't have a pc to do it so was gonna do it via my phone my superuser keeps saying if you just upgraded to 4.3 and superuser can't install it this is an error is there away round this? It wont let me root at all. Many thanks.
Just asthe warmingsays. You need to re-root your device using a computer bud

Dude, just installing supersu app from playstore wont give you root access. You have to install su binaries in your 'system' partition. You will definitely require a pc for that..
By the way supersu is just an app to manage root permissions, it wont give u root

Just flash super su with your prefered recovery (like cwm or twrp). Download the zip from here: http://download.chainfire.eu/370/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.80.zip flash it and you'll gain root.

Keep stock recovery.

Hello i would like to root my s4 mini, but i want to keep everything stock. Including the recovery. Is this possible? Thanks

There are no root methods I know of that automagically install CWM or any other custom recovery. If all you do is root, all you'll have is root.
Also, in the future, if you post a topic in the Q&A forum and either don't get a response or don't get the response you want, you should refrain from reposting it in another forum.

This one does not involve flashing any custom recovery prior to rooting:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2611971
Some developers have also released some pre-rooted roms which do not need to modify the stock recovery..
You may spend some time searching for different methods.

Use the CWM method and after the phone is rooted, you can install back the stock recovery.
Attached. Unzip and flash in Odin as PDA/AP.

Root without computer

You can root and flash custom recovery using Mobile Odin which is available at the Playstore.
Here is the playstore link for Mobile Odin: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.mobileodin.pro
(no need for any computer)
Good luck!
Misterjunky,
I lost root after the update. I am completely stock so mobile odin doesn't work... any other suggestions?

If you can go into download mode then you can
use cf-autoroot to re-root the phone.
Be sure to use the correct version of cf-autoroot for your
phone's model.
Here is the direct download link for cf-autoroot for the N900T Tmobile Note 3:
http://download.chainfire.eu/354/CF-Root1/CF-Auto-Root-hltetmo-hltetmo-smn900t.zip?retrieve_file=1
After rooting use "TWRP Coordinator" from the playstore to install TWRP
custom recovery.
Good luck!
I appreciate the help, but download mode would be in correlation with using a computer, correct? I don't have a computer...
