hey guys, i need some help please. i downgraded my note to 4.1.1 to try unlock it. using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34661189
but before i got to that my phone is saying no service now after the downgrade.EMERGCY CALLS ONLY,
i dont know what to do. it was working perfect before i downgraded.
any advice to try hel me fix it would be much apreciated
also just noticed my imei number as changed??? how is that possible?

Flash a custom recovery.. and then flash the modem of the rom which you were using previously.. it might solve your problem.. no side effects/harm

Flashed a bad rom or modem, my phone goes onto bootloop when i flash the MCT and failed if i try the tmobile.
What all have you tried?. Did you Odin stock try nandroid? Be specific. If you willing you can try out a program on you pc

i got my imei back but my phone will only connect to rogers and my carrier is wind, I tried to flash the MCT stock rom and it goes to an infinite reboot, i also tried the stock tmobile rom and it fails. I also flashed a rom and than flashed the T889V modem and everytime i do that it boots up to lock screen and then crashes.
You guys don't have a stock Odin rom

Damn dude that sucks try going on samfirmware try to request stock maybe they can get it for you. So MCT is mobility huh..

How did you get your phone to stop bootlooping?
So I flashed crotian stock rom from Sam mobile and now my imei changed to generic one it's still here but it's changed to something else.I put in my sim card and I type in my PIN and it show its connected to network but it says emergency calls only and i tried using sim card unlocker from google play but it said i have bad imei.I didn't make copy of my efs folder(im stupid)

Dont care about the imei no. Just download xxME4 or DMF1 modem and flash it then you will be fine.
You can find the both modem file and download it from the link im given.

Sure it wont change. Since your efs being modified. Unless you have the backup efs.image and restore it. Otherwise just stick with these 2 modem.
But the main point you able to make call and get network registered.

Does anyone have a baseband fix. I can't connect to the Sprint mobile network. I feel like i've tried everything. Any ideas? I've tried going back to stock, flashing radios/modems/kernels. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you flash Aospa 4 or cm11 through TWRP? if I remember in both threads they say to flash via CWM or you'll lose your baseband. You might have to flash a total stock image via Odin to fix it.

yeah i flashed Aospa, but i did do it through CWM...for some reason my SD card wouldn't work after the update so I went to downgrade back to stock. I tried flashing from ODIN with the stock image but it was failing at the boot.img part every time. Maybe I got a bad stock image? I'll search for the stock through xda and re download and try. just sucks because it took almost two hours to download. thanks again for everyone's help.
Well I have lost baseband along with all the other info countless times. The fix is not very hard. If you still need help I can help you out later today.

Can you do the factory stock? You will lose root but mc2 is easy to root with CF.

did this work?? i am having the same problem and feel like i have tried everything and still no network connection
ok friends. i need some help. i was trying to install "Anthem_d2tmo_20140131.zip" i wiped all the data and now i cant install it because i have lost root access as well . I was using "wicked" rom before and i now im stuck with only cwm screen. i cant go any further than that. Please help me to install a new rom or even (at this stage stock rom)

Thanks. i tried that too but nothing was working, i paid the cell phone shop guy $35 and he did it for me
now i am back to stock 4.1.1 and cant decide which rom to try now. would you recommend any?
My international note 2 has an error saying no sim card, not registered on network.
First i noticed in USA and i was on phantom rom. When dialing *#06# no imei comes out, its just blank, it didnt say null.
Then i came back to malaysia and flashed stock rom 4.4.2 and my imei is there when dialed *#06# but i put sim card and still no network..
Then i got to shop and repair but the guy say my sim slot is just ok and no spoil.
Now im on 5.0 lollipop. Please help me use my sim card back.
I never do efs backup before. I didnt even touch it.
So how???

Unfortunately you will have to flash the stock image for your Note 2 , to recover your modem information, it happened to me once, and this was my only working solution.
After you do it, you root and install a recovery , then wipe flash everything and install the rom you want

The factory image, that came with the n7100 it self. download it from sammobile.
