So I'm a little lost finding what I am looking for.
I am looking for UCALG1 mostly stock. The only thing I want is de-odex and zip-aligned I want all the Stock Crap and Blaotware then I want to be able to load Faux123's Kernel.
I believe I have a through in my search of the developer section. Any direction would be great.
TIA

it looks like that is what you want, the dev left it completely stock and did very basic tweaks to it like the ones you want, deodex, zipalign etc... and u should be able to load kernels with ease, its prerooted and everything. :good: edit. looks perfect for you actually. has everything you are looking for pretty much. good luck

From what I have read, the only differences between the LG1 and LEM, is some updates to some of the apps, and the removal of Google Device Search. so IMHO, LG1 is a downgrade
It's also been theorized that the new OTA fixes the lost IMEI problem, but like I said it's just a theory.

Nothing like the real thang =]
Hello everyone, thanks alot Rushing for the roms.
I don't see the data toggle in the telus T989D stock rom, i know it may not be easy to add but if someone has a flashable zip to add that together with other toggles would be appreciated.
About the jellybeast is it themed or not?, im just looking for plain stock Telus jellybean rom, rooted, CIQ free, not themed, bit debloated with data toggle, 4 way reboot if possible. as Mr. X used to deliver stock roms (unfortunately i couldnt find a JB stock telus rom from him).
Please i hope you can help me with that. It's been a long time that i have not been active in XDA and many things have changed around, took me sometime to find working links again, many threads have been closed and there are new ones for the same thing but with no information, just links.
I no longer have this phone but my partner does and he was in Juggernaut gingerbread, after his phone went crazy yesterday i had to rush and install telus stock rom (thanks again @Rushing) but data toggle is important.
TIA
Try a rom with the 20 toggles mod.
Thanks but i need stock.
If someone has a link to stock T989D jellybean, rooted, CIQ free, 20 toggles mod (whatever is called, need data toggle) , 4 way reboot, NOT themed please let me know. Thanks alot! :highfive:

I use and like the cleanbean ROM, but recently I've been constantly prompted to update to a newer version of android. I want to know if this would have a bad affect on the ROM.

To update official software, you need to be on stock software, unrooted, with stock recovery What version of Jelly Bean is your CleanBean ROM based on?DO NOT take any updates while rooted or on custom ROMs.
Yeah don't ever take official OTAs while rooted/on a different rom other than stock. Hell i never even take an ota for the rom that I'm on, i always do things myself to ensure everything works right. Your build.prop needs to be updated to trick the OTA update, check the developer's thread to see if he posted one for you to flash

Please refer to this thread courtesy of CNexus: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2209418
It has all the answers to your questions regarding ota updates (he even made a guide on how to edit your build.prop yourself!)
Be careful when editing your build.prop though, I'm sure CNexus includes this in his guide but just in case, make a copy of it and store it somewhere safe like an external sd or your computer before you edit it. Good luck! Also be sure to hit that "thanks" button, i find myself thanking almost all his posts

I wouldn't be too afraid. Just be as careful as you can be. I believe editing the build.prop is pretty harmless so long as you keep a copy of the original somewhere. You should do it yourself! You'll feel awesome knowing you took another step and got your hands a little dirtier and have 1 less thing to have to depend on someone else for

Hi guys, i wanna partely debloat my stock rom to make it lighter, but keep some samsung apps.
I found 'root app delete' in playstore, is it a good idea, or better to make manually via TB?
Any advice is welcome, any list of stuff to trash either.
Thanks for ur help

I use Titanium to freeze things first before uninstalling and make backups before removing. I found the best way to debloat was to start from scratch; backup apps+data, flash a minimal ROM, minimal gapps, and just install stuff as and when I actually needed to - I have very little running or available that doesn't get used and tons of memory free to use when needed. No Samsung apps to be seen at all.

Stock ROM have GApps included, so you can't flash custom GApps only if you want to root and flash custom ROM.

I prefer SlimKAT to others at the moment and I have no issues with it at all. (I have a Slim version 7.4 that is not available generally at the moment - just testing it. The latest 7.2.1 has no reported issues). That is not to say you will like it or that everything will work ok for you, but its fun trying out these things. Most people use other gapps such as PA or BaNkS I think but the Slim gapps I use currently are from the SlimROM web site here.
Just to clarify, SlimKAT has no gapps included at all. It has a basic Nova launcher but very little else in the way of applications.
thanks mate, iam running slimkat for a few days and seems to be very battery friendly.
I just wanted to find out if there was a flashable zip for the recent OTA that came out a week or two ago?
If not, what is my option to upgrade and get rooted and also having a functioning wifi tether (hacked /rooted, etc like Autoprimes mod or wifi tether router app?) From my understanding, the OTA borked the tethering but I use it all the time at work. I see Autoprime said he has a test version out for donors and hopefully in a week or so he might have an update to his tethering mod.
Thank you,
Whiteice

It's doubtful that anybody will publish a rooted OTA because it takes a lot of work. To upgrade, your best bet is to download the full upgraded and rooted stock ROM available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g3/development/rom-zonerom-07-24-14-deodex-t2827304
Note that there are several ROMS on that page ... but you can stick with the stock one and dirty-flash. Personally, I made the move to ZoneROM and I'm pretty happy for it.
Remember to thank @zone23 for his/her hard work.
...Also tethering is indeed borked.

First of all, thanks for the link because that helped me a lot. But I am confused by your first sentence. Isn't the rom in that link exactly what we need? Is it different because the OTA is just a upgrade from a small file while the link has the full rom? And since I am asking so many questions, will that rom work good just dirty flashed in twrp, not changing anything else?

Yeah, it's not a small OTA, it's the whole ROM. But you can upgrade with it, nonetheless. So yes, it's what you need.
There have been varying reports on the new (m) ROM. My personal experience is excellent with the latest ZoneROM. My screen is fixed (no over sharpening), my battery life is decent, etc. The only issue I've had is tethering and Prime Tether should be out soon (hopefully). In the meantime, other people have had success with one of the tethering apps in the play store.
As always, backup first, then just try it out. If you don't like it, just restore.
Good luck!

There should not be anything else you need to do except reapply any customizations you had. I set my dpi back to 540 and re-enabled my Xposed modules.
... Oh wait... There's a new radio that came out with the m rom. I haven't applied it yet myself, but you may want to hunt it down and flash that as well.
I heard it was available somewhere in the zonerom thread. Again, I just haven't looked, personally.
