[Q] Sony Xperia M Network Lock - Sony Xperia M

Hello There
I am new to this group and joined this forum to seek some advice from you guys. I have bought Sony Xperia M (Boost Network, powered by Telstra) in Australia. However, the phone is network unlocked. The phone cost me $200 and now i am visiting my hometown for vacation and to use phone with my country sim, I need to get it unlocked. I called Boost mobile and they said that they will charge me $100 to unlock the device. Can somebody guide me from where I can get it unlocked for cheaper amount, although the cheapest option I found is $25. Or If somebody can help me how to generate network unlock code from IMEI number.
Thanks

I bought my ipaq unlocked from ebay. the only known way to unlocK it is tobe a t_mobile subscriber and to osK them for the unlocking code. Ireceived my phone unlocked from the ebay seller and he also sent the unlock code. the Phone work with Singular sim card and with my vodafone Egypt Sim .

[Q] Sim-Free and Unbranded

Hi. I have just purchased a "brand new sim-free unbranded" HTC Desire, however, when I inserted my o2 sim card and switched the device on I got a message that a different sim card was being used. I also had to select between three carriers being o2 contract, o2 payasyougo and Tesco Mobile.
Basically, my question is how can I check that my device definitely is sim-free and unbranded and not previously locked to a network?
Sorry if I am being vague or not supplying enough information. I otherwise love the phone and still trying to figure it out haha.
Many thanks
Scott
Your phone is working so its unlocked and it was just setting up your gprs settings
Don't know why anyone would pay out for a sin free phone. Because almost all pda phones you can unlock for free and debrand them as well

iam still a small so I open Card visa For unlocked my defy my father does not want to give me money for unloked my defy
is there a way to do that free of charge?!or do any of you help me
iwant to enjoy this phone like you
I presume you are not in France therefore your bouygues telecom sim doesn't work? Or maybe you want a pay-as-you-go sim. The only way I know to get a free sim unlock code is from a carrier and I have no idea if bouygues telecom will give you one. Of course it would mean signing up for their service.
bouygues is for my mother but always put in the house
and I are sure that there is geniuses in this site can unlocking my defy
ihope only to help me
Each phone has a unique unlock code and there are several places that offer the service, but they cost money. Maybe you can get some ideas here.

Since last week i have been trying to find a solution to network unlock the phone but without success. Every single unlock site seems not have a code to unlock this phone model.
So i came now to you asking for your help. If anyone have a solution to network unlock this phone please send me a pm.

[Q] SIm-Unlocking NTT DOCoMo Sony Ericsson Arc

I bought a second-hand Sony Ericsson Arc and it has "NTT DoCoMo" on the back . I put in my Tmobile SIm card . After power on, it does ask me to enter the unlock code.
I tried cellunlocker.net . Before place the order , i did email them to make sure if they can unlock a NTT DoCoMo Sony Xperia Arc and what is the cost . One of the agents replied me back "It's 39.99 on our website"...very poor custommer quality in my opinion . So , I placed my order after fill in the IMEI , model and network that it is locked to (which is NTT DoCoMo). About a week later , I receive an email from them, asking me those same info (IMEI, brand and locked network)..wth ?!?!? ....So I got on an online chat with them , agent Ken C , he told me that they can not get a unlock code for Ntt DoCoMo for my Arc at the moment , so they gave me the refund .
As I do a research , htccode.com claim that they can Sim-unlocking for Ntt DOCOMo for my Arc . This is the link:
htccode.com/sony-ericsson
However, htccode.com has quite a bad feedback here on xda-developers . So I kinda hesitate to place a order of 50$ ==!.
Soooo, my question is have anyone know where I can get my Ntt DoCoMo Sony Ericsson Arc sim-unlick to use under Tmobile ?
Or should I bring my phone to tmobile store to get unlock ?
ANy suggestion would help
In all honesty its probably cheaper to just get the bootloader unlocked:

I don't know the price off hand but im sure its cheaper that the prices you were quoted. That and its two birds with one stone, now youre sim unlocked and bootloader unlocked for cheap
