WIFI does not work in open network

HI!
From I have upgraded to WM6 I can connect by WIFI to my close network at home, but not in open network that I used to do before (airport, Cafeterias, etc), I connect, I get IP address but the internet explorer does not work.
Any idea? Have I forgotten something?

I have a similar wifi problem!
I can connect fine at home, but on an open network such as at my university, I can connect briefly, then it will seize to work after loading a page or so.
Then I cannot connect again.
Anyone know how to solve this problem with open networks?
btw, I am using Black 3.0.1

I have a N7100 and I am also having wifi connectivity issues
I read the old wifi connectivity thread but my issue doesn't seem to be the same.
.I have a broadband wifi router which I also use an iPad, win Xp laptop, HTC Wildfire S and Motorola defy through, all of which have been fine (using WEP encryption)
)Unfortunately the note II seems to connect but then doesn't access the Internet.
The phone's wifi page shows connection. It connects then receives and IP address but then the alert comes up that there is no Internet access. I also use fing which says that there is no wifi network.
I''ve downloaded the apps wifi manager and wifi analyser to try and get to the bottom of it but they both say I have good signal strength and are connected.
Wifi analyser showed there was a bit of crossover from another AP router next door so I changed the channel to give clear air between us. I then reconnected all the devices and they all work -apart from my new Note.
My question so are 1)is there any more i can do to fix it. 2)where should I look to find the logs which might let me diagnose it a bit better . I should add that sometimes it just works and can browse and download as normal, but most of the time it doesn't.

I started to have trouble connecting to wifis few days ago, it says that signal is very strong i even see full bars and it stops on "containing IP adress" and then shows up window that signal is poor and doesnt connect, but wifi is working my friend next to me was connected, its in a bar and like 2 weeks ago i was able to connect to that very same wifi, very disappointing, no clue what could be wrong

[Q] Can't connect to WiFi after rooted?

Hey guys, I rooted my phone about a month ago, and wifi was working for me at my work but our Internet has been acting up, (we have at&t) so I thought it was just because of that. When I connect to the WiFi that is not password protected, I get redirected to a Web page and I have to click "login" to be connected. However for the past couple weeks when I tried to connect, it didn't even take me to the login page, it took to me to a page that said unable to connect. I will attach a photo. Other people can connect to the WiFi, just not me. My phone works at my houses wifi and I have no problems. I can connect to the WiFi so I don't think it's a connectivity issue, it's just I can't get redirected to complete the connection. As u can see in the pic, I am connected however I cannot access Internet. Any help?

WiFi problem

Hi guys,
I have a problem with WiFi on my note 3 SM-7505. I am able to detect and connect to certain network such as in the airport, university. For those home Newark, I am unable to detect and connect them eventhough I get close to a router. What could be the problem and how to solve it? Thanks

Wifi issue, No internet access.

Hey everyone,
I've a strange issue with moto z play wifi.
Whenever i connect it to my home wifi, it always say "no internet access". Than restarting the device solve the issue. It occurs everytime.
No other device in my house has any problem connecting to my wifi network.
But it connects to my office wifi without any problem.
This is so frustrating. Please help.
My device is on 7.1.1 ( october 2,2017patch)
