New EMUI 2.0 - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Hey guys,
what to expect from the new EMUI 2.0? Features and improvements. There's this video but nothing realy new or inovative from my point of view.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72WHPbqSamk

Yes my overall assessment is that. They added many small but useful features, small changes everywhere, fixed bugs and problems, fine tuned the performance.. But nothing that would be some kind of a news breaking or some revolutionery exceptional feature.
Btw that video does not reveal much. You can visit EMUI 2.0 thread in original android development section.

what are the major differences between the cupcake roms?

OH and sorry if this is a re-post but I'm on here everyday and i haven't seen the question be asked.
JesusFreke's ADP1.5 Cupcake Build ROM v1.50 is the best in my opinion.
PLEASE to edit your post and ask your question differently.
If you want to know people's opinion on which is best... Then this thread will be LOCKED and quick! That promotes nothing but bickering and unsubstantiated/subjective opinion (like a$$holes - everyone has one) and diminishes the work of the developers who have brought us the early ROMS.
If you want to know what features are on the different ROMS to make it easier for you to decide which would be a better fit... Maybe, the thread won't be locked.
Don't EVER ask about who thinks what is better! All three major ROMS have different features that make them unique. The best way... Try all three of them!
In a nutshell:
Market works in all three; Apps2sd works in all three; I think the graphics are better in all three (my opinion); they run smoother/faster; VK (all options/versions) is awesome.
JF - more like original Cupcake with a few tweaks (I haven't tried it yet so don't know the keyboard options)
Dude - Some eye candy, three VK's avail (original Google; Chinese/English input (HTC), English (HTC), no exchange support.
Haykuro - more eye candy, closer to HTC version of the device, no Google VK (uses the HTC Chinese/English input VK), support for exchange.
Speed of each depends on who you speak with - it's all about perception and they are all most likely about equal. They are all quality builds at this point with few bugs. It is just a preference thing.
Try them all out! If you put your apps on your SD and use Nandroid or My Backup Pro you can switch to any of the three and not lose any data/settings.
thank you for your input guys. and i truly am sorry about my wording in the title and i didnt mean to say that one might be better than the other . i was really just wondering the differences between the 3 and i appreciate your input shaneaus.

Which Android Version/Mod with camera and voice search working ?

Hi, developers.
I think that maybe we are losing focus on building a stable and nearly all-functional version of android for kaiser.
Everyone of us has a new app, new feature, requiring an all new mod or version to be installed. We are just replicating the millions of flavours of linux.
That means different energies that, in my opinion, could be collate in one or two major version. This is the spirit of open source community and xda community.
Why simply stopping developping hundreds of mods, backgrounds, subversiones, etc. etc. and focalize on making camera working ? And voice search ? The new google voice maps uses it and having it fully working should be awesome.
Thanks for attention. Just my 2 cents, as someone said

Myn's Donut is 100% working as far as I know. There are bugs still, but everything works.
The problem with a lot of Android builds is that they focus too much on a customized UI, rather then fixing existing issues and improving stability and performance.

its the same as in WIMO dev. builds are easy. you take the tree and add some tweaks or themes or apps.
fixing problems requires work on the kernal and experience. dont complain about current status unless you intend to do something about it. the people releasing builds usually dont dev the kernal. i know i cant do either.
donate money (to dzo) or do some work or quit complaining
BTW if you spend time reading you would know that there are only two major trees. MOST come from cmod 5.0.7 and mmissions work porting them. wyn seems to be using another branch closer connected to his donut work.
Constructive criticism is not the same as criticism. For example, this thread expresses the concern over charging.
There lots of developers who deserve praise and more, and then there's people who like to put Donate buttons in their sig for no good reason. Not pointing out anyone.

[NEWS] MIUI Gingerbread - Development Started

This is great news for MIUI users. The developers of MIUI has started the 2.3 development and will soon see the new version.
From MIUI thread,
Between the edition is too much to ask when the oil has kept the equalizer like ah, here talk about a unified music player schedule below it:
1. Why has not the equalizer, when there will be the equalizer?
Development team will start from March to 2.3 migration models one by one, the equalizer will be developed on the basis of 2.3 (not the same as many underlying support, now in the 2.2 to do a lot of resources will be wasted), so it is estimated to be 3 commence until mid-next, I hope we can be patient about. We also want to let everyone hear the best sound level quickly, but because of limited manpower development team, a lot of strong demand for oil is full of 2.3, so we should look at the progress of coordination, so the EQ development team promised to plan than the beginning to be a bit late, I hope you a lot of understanding, a lot of support ah!
2. Music player will have any significant function of the back ah?
Follow-music side of the main functions are as follows:
- UI and interaction of small-scale adjustments, fit a new version of UI
- EQ (dependent on 2.3)
- More audio formats supported (dependent on 2.3)
- Desktop lyrics
If you have any other function of strong demand and problems of feedback in the bug open to discuss new features or paste, here you can Replies Oh, but the big fear of missing the water, said. . .

I've installed this ROM on my A530F. It has made such an improvement in terms of performance and usability, but I've experienced some problems, and I would like to know if they are caused by the rom or by an improper install.
-Stock camera app sometimes freezes and sometimes there's a delay between pressing the shutter button and the photo being taken.
-Fast charging is no longer an option.
-The speaker sounds a little weird with this ROM, doesn't sound as good as it did with Android 9.
Other than this, I'm really enjoying this port

Your Qdroid one UI 2.1 and FusionX one UI 2.5 just vanished from XDA.
Was it by your decision, or just the result of XDA improvement?
(I'm using your excellent FusionX one UI 2.5)

I've tried CrDroid, SparkOS and EvolutionX. Arrow OS website is down so couldn't. CrDroid is good but I don't like the look of It, EvolutionX and SparkOS are actually very similar. The reason I picked Spark OS over It is because It actually implemented Dolby Atmos that this phone supports. That's actually the only reason. But I do like that Evolution X has OTA updates. If they add Dolby Atmos I'll switch to It but for now SparkOS It Is.
Edit: Arrow OS not down anymore I'll give It a try and update you on It
I flashed Arrow OS and If I'm honest It's way behind SparkOS and EvolutionX. CONS: Example1: I can't change the size of my icons on the home screen. Example: It's running android 13.0 compared to 13.2 on the other two. Example3: Dolby Atmos nowhere to be found. Example4: Can't disable icons in the top bar like NFC. Example5: No battery health info and no charging info on the lockscreen (wattage, mah, etc.). I'd probably find more with a bit more testing, but I don't like It I'm definetly switching back to SparkOS though there are some PRO's for arrowOS. Since It's so lightweight It has better scores in antutu benchmarks by about 100k and apparently better stability and battery life. That's about It really If you're wondering which Custom ROM to install currwntly, go for either SparkOS or EvolutionX. That's my recommendation. They're both very stock with neat extra features. If you game a lot (more or less just Genshin Impact on Ultra) than ArrowOS is probably for you. If you are a casual gamer (COC, CR, PUBG, COD, etc.) stick with the other two. If you want the newest features sooner get the one of the other two, because the build of android is 2 months newer.
ANTUTU SCORES:
Evolution X and SparkOS: both very close 560000
ArrowOS: 660000
Both results are rounded by about 2K just so It's easier to follow.
And yes these are the best most optimized and most reliable ROM's for POCOF4 out right now so choose between these. Can't wait for Pixel Experience Plus Official to come out. We'll see how that's gonna compare to these three.
Hope this helps anyone who's wondering which one to install.
Edit: I discovered a benchmark and gaming feature under battery settings in SparkOS and EvolutionX which when enabled lifts antutu score to 640000 on SparkOS and to 690000 on EvolutionX. Now It should be a no brainer get the SparkOS or EvolutionX.
PS: I switched to EvolutionX because of better battery life and I just installed Dolby Atmos through Magisk.
Seems no XDA theard of CorvusOS , why?
Hi,
I search a ROM official, encrypted and Pixel based... I hesitate between SparkOS and PixelOS, witch is the difference ? On my old phone I has Pixel Extended and I love the extended features on it.

Take lot of days to unbrick the same. due to this experience now iam unable to do dare to experiments without proper knowledge.
