That project is called JoyOS (or clone iOS) and I've seen it run on mostly Gingerbread phones.
In my opinion, it's pointless to design your phone like iOS and it's a waste of buying an android instead of iPhone.
But if you want to transform your phone you can use these
Espier Launcer 7 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.espier.launcherg
Other Espier iOS themed apps like lockscreen, browser, notification - https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Espier+Workshop

My god, just go on the market and try out the browsers on there. Its not hard.

Let me take a different approach here... You came from iPhone to GS3, why are you trying to downgrade superior product?
That's like going from Infiniti to Chrysler. Makes no sense.

I don't want safari...I want a look a like...
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Then you're out of luck.
Just get an iphone. What's gonna be your next question? How to make the play store look like the app store? Uhh or how about how to make the screen smaller like the iphone?
Sent from Flip's S3

Lol, you guys are pretty harsh. I don't think there's anyway to do that, unless you theme the android browser or something....
It's because the OP has started now 4 threads about how to get his SGS3 to be more like an IPhone (2 of the threads were identical and now extinct).
@OP 2 things here.
First: I see that you are doing all this from your Tapatalk app. While the app is a nice convenience, it cannot do everything. You need to hop on a PC and start using the Search function, reading and looking around before starting redundant threads.
Second: You may want to look into an AOSP ROM (don't start a thread asking which one or which is best, I'll close that before you can blink your eyes) and then pull an IOS theme from this thread. I know for a fact that there is one (because I searched it). It will theme most things to be like IOS (IOS5 actually), but you have to realize that this is Android, so while there is some things that cross over (Instagram), not everything will/can (Safari).
Please do not open any more threads without doing research and reading, as you'll probably get the same treatment and then I have to come in and clean and close and that isn't much fun for anyone.
See what you did? You made everyone angry.
Common sense my boy. Two different platforms. Two different systems.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
might as well tell you about iLauncher as well before you start opening threads about how to make your homescreen look like an iPhone. who are you trying to fool?
Some words of advice here: whenever you want something to look, be, or have any questions about Apple and any of there products (unless you are talking about the fruit in an OT thread) just search and if you can't find it then it probably doesn't exist. You will get raided with "iPhone sucks!" And all its variants if you mention something about Apple and any of its affiliations. If you want something to look/be Apple ask a developer, the most they will say is "no". If you look on the play store there may be an app that looks like safari, but I doubt it. Good luck!

That's great that you wanna customize it, but there is tons of themes available in development, there is a thread called morpheology or something, you can customize it so much that it looks nothing like an iPhone or stock android but looks amazing and to your liking.. There's so many apps that can help you change icons, lock screen, make custom widgets, you just gotta search man

Awesome Note app?

Hi guys,
The new Galaxy Note 8.0 presented at MWC Barcelona, include the awesome note taking application from iPad called... Awesome Note.
Search on YouTube for a review and you will be amazed what can do this application.
Does anyone extract from the new Rom of the SGN8 and port it to our Note II?
Of course, when the Rom will be leaked...

Yep, the first thing that came to my mind after seeing the new note 8 (apart from a way to add it to my collection whenever available ) is to acquire the beloved (from my old ipad) awesome note for android.
Please, someone port it to our note 2. It is my favorite app (any chance to see it in the Samsung apps collection)?

Thanks for the update. If someone could just take out the awesome note apk from the 8.0 rom then i think we should be able to install on our devices. Remember the original Photoshop app which was meant for 10.1 worked beautifully on our devices.
In the meantime checkout something that's linked with Evernote and kicks Awesome note's ass!
Amazing Note lol.
I'm a digital note/memo freak and I'll tell you this app backs it up and hits it out of the park.
If you want simplicity (a respectable characteristic), don't go here.
If you don't mind a little little learning curve (most worthwhile things do), check out "Amazing Note".
Still in beta, and in fast development, it's still the most full featured life organizational app for the Samsung Note I've ever seen.
Thank you boowalley for the info you shared. So we just have to wait for someone who will be able to rip it from Note 8 and (hopefully) share it with us.
Thank you rockky for the info on Amazing note. It's interesting, I'll try it.
Regards,
Stefan
Guys, I have the same reply from the developer of the app.
Unfortunately they are not planning to release it to the public, so we rest our hopes to rip it from a note 8 rom.
Someone, please...
Is the Note 8 dump/ROM available here on XDA or elsewhere for downloading? I can extract it then. Easy!

Nope, if it was I could also extract it easily, but...
no luck.
I believe it will happen as soon as note 8 comes to the market (and I also plan to buy too)...
At least we have a chance, by having someone who can rip it from Note 8.
We'll just have to wait it to appear on the market.
I would like to buy one, also.

[Q] (Q)why don't we have Great development improvement for Grand Duos?

Grand is really a wonderful device with some reasonable Hardware specs and This is very popular device in India. But Regarding custom Roms, we got to wait for long time from only few developers.
I am not satisfied with the Roms that are roaming here. Almost same features.. ,?
^Just bloatware removed
^zip aligned...
These are all not great features..
Custom Rom means, at least we should have Custom Kernel, other device Ports(not small features, Full Ports, yes we have xperia z port, but nothing great),over clocks..
I am not saying we don't have MODS, Yes we have great developer balliboxer...thanks to him. He's the only one fighting for us.. This is the time ,we should step up and start developing ROMS.
Any comments regarding my dissatisfaction? I am not blaming.. we got to take our Grand Developing thread into world looking one.. :good:
