So any fix for the T-mobile ? Every time you open the camera the transition animation scale goes right back to 1 even with you setting it off? Thanks!

All of a sudden I no longer get the crt animation when turning off the screen, haven't installed or flashed anything today.. Rebooting the phone didn't help, anyway to turn it back on?

Double check in your Settings > Developer Options that the Windows and Transition animation scales are not 0.
One of these options turns off the crt effect when set to 0 (can't remember off the top of my head).
You're right, I had set it to 0.5, put it back to 1 and now animation is on! Thanks dude

Very welcome. 0.5 you say... thanks for the info too
After updating to 4.0.4 today I noticed the CRT off animation doesn't occur anymore when the screen turns off anymore. Is there any way to get this back while staying stock!?
Thanks in advance.

Turn animations back on in the developer menu.
Thanks for the response but I tried this earlier and the only animation options I see in there are "window animation scale" and "transition animation scale"...am I missing something else?

Maybe its under display. Off animation? At least it is in CM9 usually the two are slightly similar.

Window display animation needs to be at least 1x. If you choose .5x or off you wont see it.
...
Awesome! Window animation at 1x did the trick. Thanks again

Every time I wake my phone up , weather its via home button or power button there seems to be a major lag... about a second lag from the time I press either button to the screen turning on so I can swipe to unlock .
I never had this problem before , last night I did root the phone and got rid of all the bloatware. I'm running stock wiz .
Any thoughts on fixing this lag ? Its annoying

Go to settings/developer options/change both transition animations, and window animations to 0.5. Limit back groups process to four. Open your S voice go to settings, uncheck launch by double clicking on the home button. Try this see if it helps

When you pull down the screen to see alerts what are the icons for up top.
Going from left to right I understand
Wifi - BT - GPS - Is the next rotation of screen because it does nothing for me enabled or disabled - A pink glob, what is this? - Vibrate - what is this two circles with arrows? - silent
thanks

From what I read, it does nothing. Its only there as personal entertainment. AKA "Turning on your swagger"

Go to developer settings and "Disable HW Overlay" needs to be checked. This setting resets itself upon reboot, so you'll have to set it every time. It's a known bug with some AOSP ROMs I believe.
