JB Gapps Recommend?

Hey guys and gals,
I was just curious which JB Gapps package do you recommend for the CM10 official builds? I currently use July 26th signed and always have. Is there a better or newer one that is recommended or is this one still fine to use? Thanks to all that respond.

I feel that justun bean (i think that's how you spell it) inverted gapps give me more battery and I like the look

My appologies, I am a little confused. Which JustinBean Gapps version? I see a bunch of different ones offered on their website and its 133mb? That seems really big.

I have no idea what gapps they're talking about. I just use the 20121011 gapps off the website.

Try the October 11 GAPPS. They are the latest official ones.

Is Gallery / Picasa / Google+ sync working with the latest official JBapps version using CM10?

Well, the ones in the thread are for the latest 4.1.2. The 132 MB one comes with extra apps like Apollo and Dropbox and others.
The slightly smaller ones come with only GAPPS. Not too sure about the size right now but it should be around 85 MB.

Paranoid Settings

Is it possible to add the paranoidsetting.apk to any aosp rom? I am running CM10 alpha2, and was wondering if it would work if i put it in the system folder and rebooted or if the ROM needed to be a PA ROM.

I doupt it since it modifies system files. You could give it a shot tho. Just Push it under system apps set permissions and voila

and why not run pa alpha2? its basically the cm10 release with the pa stuff baked in.

Thanks I figured it might have something to do with that......I didn't wanna reflash just for it yet, was just trying to add it to my setup, am just gonna wait for PAC to come out with the new base

No that's 4.2.1 but its the one we have to use on preludedrews evervol newest 4.2.2 nightly ROM.. Which so far its running smoooooooth...

And it works?? Because it doesn't work on any of the JB ROMs I flashed this weekend, which is why I thought it was 4.2.2

Its 4.2.1 is why it won't work on the jb ROMs they are all 4.1.2... Except mazwozs and tronits

I put this rom and i found a lot of errors also!
the gsm signal and the 3g data works?
i love this rom! hope than make a stable one fast!

ok so just this download and gapps and thats all no kernel

running it since yesterday..seems pretty solid...great battery ! Added Viper and PowerAmp and i'm good to go!

where do i get gapps and can i use my watch with this rom

Op updated an no u cannot use your gear with this ROM the galaxy gear only works with TW roms

no idea about the watch...i'm a pretty non complicated user... need my headphones loud for music...browse..email..text.. Other CM builds i got no battery...this looks good so far! Give it a try!

Any of the 3 will work but I would go with the very bottom one that says stock

Nothing TW is included in the ROM its pure AOSP an this ROM is more stable than any of the current AOSP Roms to date NFC still doesn't work though

No, but there are alternative apps available in the play store. I don't know what they are but I see them discussed often. Try searching the forum and the play store.

For some odd reason I can not load this on my N3. When I try I load the os then the gapps but then boots back into TWRP. Any thoughts?

Did you wipe properly?
1. Factory reset
2. Wipe System
Once you do that, install the rom and gapps, then reboot system. Shouldn't boot back into recovery unless you tell it to.
