IS cyanogenmod installer compatible with the epic 4g touch? I am rooted (SuperUser Elite) with stock android (4.0.4) I really do not want to brick my phone.
ROM Manager? No. Don't use it.

@bilgerryan
Its not ROM manager, it makes installing cm on a devices very easy. (Have you been living under a rock? )
To the op: I'm not sure, you might need to check the compatibility list.

Then what should I use for custom roms?
Do it the old fashion way, download a ROM and install a custom recovery and flash...

Does anyone know how to completely hide or disable the built-in TouchWiz notification toggles? I'm on Verizon, and would like to use a third-party toggle set (like Widgetsoid) to customize the notification area, but there doesn't seem to be any built-in way to adjust what's being displayed there.
Any help would be really appreciated - thanks!
Bump. I'd like this as well..

I am still on stock TW but made a quick dialer for CM10 JellyBean (Sprint) and I need someone to test it and tell me how it looks.
Make a backup first just in case then use ES File explorer or similar to copy and paste into system/app
This contacts.apk is from cm-10-20120722-UNOFFICIAL-d2spr.zip release, just in case you need to know, but I believe it should work on all cm10 releases.
Changes you should notice are dialer buttons, contact list picture and in-call contact picture. The Dialer should look similar to stock TW, more or less.
Post screenshots.
downloaded, placed in system apps with root explorer, rebooted. No issues

What is the most reliable, faster, best battery rom out right now? That I could use day to day. I kind of want to change things up from stock

Wrong question.
You have to read what users are saying in individual rom threads and then decide for yourself.
Lightweight, recalked, blu kuban are some of the popular ics roms.
Pa, cm10, aokp, cna are some jb roms.

Indeed the phone feels smooth as ice but cold as well.. not good for winter.
I have been on a quest for most of the day to find as many white themed S4 apps for our Stock 4.3 Roms. Here are the links to the Apps for anyone interested. I take no credit for these.
1.Posted by Cnexus in his thread. All apps work perfect.

Extract and drop in /system/app. Make sure you delete the old .odex files too because these are deodexed.

2. White Settings that work perfectly (didn't try the other apps)

Here
3. White Job manager, My Files and Calculator (Clock Package didn't work, didn't try the other apps)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341324
Here. Download and extract to get individual apps, wouldn't advise flashing this zip
I used all these apps on Cnexus' Stock Rooted DeOdexed rom with no issues.
Nice

Yeah just move to the system folder and rename the original. Change permissions and reboot. Always make a backup, I had to reinstall the rom a few times when messing with system apps.
