So, back in my Droid Incredible days we had a thread just like this which was hugely popular and enormously helpful and I decided to bring the same to the Galaxy Nexus. Essentially this thread will be a place to discuss anything and everything pertaining to the releases of CM9 and seeing as the first nightly was released today, I think this is a good time to start.
I will compile and keep updated all links including: nightly/stable releases, Gapps, kernels, and user created mods. This will be your "One Stop Shop" for all things CM9 related, whether you need the latest release or a battery mod to spruce things up.

Much thanks! I'll be in and around this thread. And I been liking IMOs hotplugX on every ROM I've messed with so far. Probably will try out your kernel for a few days first though. 1.2 is fast enuff for me.

Will someone post features. I keep trying different roms but end back up with gummy because of other than stabilitly and being fast the many different batteries including circle and making soft keys blue all from settings within the rom and not having to do other stuff. Gummy is a lot easily customizable than other roms so hopefully cm9 is too.

Shoulda charged last night
I'm so stoked. I just installed and I couldn't get the market to realize my apps as purchased. Shows them as my apps, but not purchased. Then I realized I accidentally flashed the wrong market lol

EDIT: Flashed the newest gapps and still have market issue. Ideas? It remembered about 15 or so of my apps to restore. All but 2 or 3 of them are paid apps. I don't understand why it doesn't recognize my other apps as paid...grrrrrr

DLing now! So pumped to give this a shot...as soon as i saw this on twitter this morning i made a backup!!!

Can't wait to give it a shot sure its not at feature packed as cna but in due time I'm sure it will be. Flashing now!

Really cool rom. I can't get data working tho. I couldn't find an option for 4g so I couldn't check that. No 3g at all tho. Keeps saying no data connection. Other than that, really snappy, the icons are real cool, and its a great change from ics. Thanks for this. Btw. I tried to reboot, wiped cache and dalvik again, and no luck w the data.

to get data working go to settings then to operator then accesspoints then select sprint you will have to do that after every reboot tho

Thanks. I've been looking for a gb rom to play w for a little while now. Don't get me wrong, I love what these guys have done for ics, but I like the 2 day battery speed of gb.
Oh hell, who am I kidding, I'll run this for a half a day and flash something else. Damn crackflashing habbit. Its harder to kick than cigarettes.

If you are running a kernel with voodoo sound built in try changing the recording setting to from "balanced" to "original" in voodoo control app..

If you can wait a day or two, bbelos will soon be releasing a tool that allows you to run CM9 entirely from the internal EMMC as described on this page. This allows you to leave your Samsung ROM intact, and to reboot temporarily into CWM, boot fakeCWM which allows you to install install/upgrade CM9 nightly zips into a separate location, then you flash another .zip to boot CM9.

PLEASE can somebody make a mod to centralize the lockscreen for DPIs lower than 320?

I've been wondering this too. Can't seem to find any info on this issue, I thought people would use custom densities in their phones. :/ This problem is also in Dialer/Phone when someone calls you the answering ring is off-center. Also Google Now popup is affected when you press home key.

Bump this up! I've been looking everywhere for this. Haven't seen anyone with a fix. I even installed the JB lock screen app from the play store and it still isn't centered -_- lol

Im also thinking about flashing Paranoid Android but its on Alpha stage yet right? Is it stable?

I'm running paranoid and changing the DPI of framework doesn't work, its still aligned to the right. I think the fix is what's posted above, but I tried making those changes to be centered and my phone wouldn't boot.
But to answer your question yes, its pretty stable, I haven't really had any problems. I've been running paranoid since it first released, before it was even a real rom

I've been looking into this off and on, and I just compared some JB framework files to ICS framework files. In /res/layout/keyguard_screen_lock.xml they are identical. They both seem to have things aligned to the right, so it's starting to make me wonder where the pic in the OP came from exactly (the original file, on the left)

Sethyx, one of the very awesome Team-AOKP devs very kindly merged a fix into AOKP JB Build 1 :laugh: I've tested it, and it works perfectly.
For now, it is only available as part of the full ROM. Download it here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/7965056/aokp_maguro_jb-build-1.zip It's not the same build that's on AOKP's site, even though it's named the same. This is basically build 1, with the lock-ring alignment fix.
This ROM, running Franco's kernel + 270 DPI, fully themed is DA SHIZNIT!

Yeah sorry everyone is having issues at the moment. I'm double checking to make sure everything got uploaded correctly. Something may have got borked in the mirroring process.
Edit: Screw the gym, i'm getting this fixed asap.

P.S. Any current MIUI users have any comments about battery life? How does it compare to AOSP ROMs?

On official MIUI v4, with GLaDOS kernel, I got over a day with moderate use
JB may be crappier, due to the fact that it is JB
