Hello.
Can I have Samsung s voice in my phone? I downloaded it and install it but force close.
Is that ported for Samsung i9000 ?

1.) Is it the old or new S-Voice?
2.) What Android version are you running?

S voice
Will only run on an TOUCHWIZ environment, I mean a TW rom original from samsung or cooked. Also, you can install one cooked, for instance 4.4 kit kat rom ( there's three flavours at the present), and install a mod with TW and a bunch of other apps, like samsung apps, svoice, file explorer, etc. Just search in this forum.
Actually, not really - S Voice can be installed without the need for the launcher and everything else, although whether this applies to the S Voice found in the Touchwiz 4.2.2 and up I don't know.

Hello everyone, was wondering if the stock FM Tuner App would work in the latest nightly builds of CyanogenMod 9.
I've seen that there's a Spirit FM app that according to some dowa work with the nightlies however I'd like to try the stock one.
If someone could post a copy of it here would be awesome!

Hy. Maybe you have heard that stock samsung apps are locked on samsung only ROMs. It is quite complicated to make a stock samsung app work on cm9.
At first you can't even install the stock samsung apps and if you copy them in system/app they won't appear in app drawer.

Hi guys,
1. Is it possible to flash 4.2 Gapps to note 2? The ones from Nexus 4? I am running Omega ROM i fthat helps.
2. Is there a way to integrate Google Voice with the stock messaging app? For example when I send the text message for stock messaging app I want that message to go through Google Voice.
Thanks!

I didn't check what Omega ROM was, but yes. Fully possible. ICS + 4.2 Gapps will work, but you will need to remove a few apps before you flash them. Has to be CM10 or 9.
You'll need to remove things like desk clock and a few others such as Gallery.
Just remembered, that some of the apps may only work with JB. Not ICS. Maybe the desk clock. Idk. Test a find out. Wouldn't hurt.

Thanks Omega is Samsung based ROM and I really would like to keep it that way since I'm not a huge fan of AOSP when compared to TouchWiz goodies.

1-Yes, you can get the apps from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1965290
2-So far as I know, no. You can cc your Google number and your messages will go to Google voice when you send them.
I've done some Google searching and it seems Note 2 has one but you need extract it from a flashable zip to use it? Anyone have or know where I can find an apk I can install for a pure aosp jelly bean keyboard?

Try this one from the play store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jellybeankeyboard.f.g
Its very close to the aosp keyboard.
I've seen the play store ones but I want a legit one

The AOKP keyboard from the Repository (says AOSP after the installation) installs fine but doesn't have the English emoji language download.

I installed slim bean..but no Samsung apps are there. How do I install snote..music player. And samsungapps.
Please help me.
you can't install Samsung apps such as Snote or Splanner on an AOSP(slimbean) ROM. These apps require touchwiz framework that are only on stock based ROMs.

Aosp and aokp roms don't support Samsung apps as these apps are based on touch wiz as said in previous replies. So if these apps are imp for you so u will have to go to stock or custom stock room

Or you can use alternative apps like GMD Spen Control, Gnote, Keep screen on...
As aosp-holic especially slim my old s2 I may say that note series are ansokute no go for non-tw rom. S pen features are noting to be missed or replaced. And without that this beast is nothing but a chubby usual phone.

Anyone have working apks?... I found a few but none will install. "App not installed" crap.
I'm on the latest cm11 nightly. Just need all the original samsung apps/account that came with the stock ROM. Please.

That's not possible. They require touchwiz framework and can't run on AOSP based ROMs like CM. If you can't live without them, you have to run a Samsung based ROM.
TW you say?... Well, in that case... I'll definitely be living without them. Thanks.
