Hello,
Can someone please show me how to eliminate the search for available networks notifications?
Also, is there a way to keep mobil networks on manual after reboot.
Thank you.
The available network is under wifi/hit menu key/ advance settings/ than check disable available network notifications... not too sure about your second question,

Hi again Bud,
By default when Enabled, Wi-Fi will stay on even when the phone is in sleep mode. You can set this by changing the following setting, if necessary:
Go to Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi Settings. Now click the Menu button again and select the Advanced option. Select Wi-Fi sleep policy and then set the relevant option.
Hope that helps you out.

no problem Bud
My phone keeps turning WiFi on automatically. Is there a way to disable this? I can't seem to find anything that is relevant in WiFi settings.

Look in Settings->More Settings->Mobile Networks->Automatic Connections and turn it off if it is on
Appreciate it, sprint could have put that under the WiFi settings. I swear carriers do some odd things with these ROMs.

You can go settings and turn off automatic network selection. Then just choose whatever network you want on the manual network.

Guys:
New poster on the forums but long-time lurker...
Anyway, I'm not sure if any of you guys noticed but when you pull down the quick settings menu on the SGH-M919 it only lists 18 buttons instead of the 20 normally found on the GT-i9505. The two buttons missing are "Mobile data" and "Wi-Fi hotspot". I can understand why Wi-Fi hotspot is not included because T-Mobile included their own version of the app in the carrier bloatware. However, it doesn't make sense for them to delete the "Mobile data" toggle.
Any way that we can recover that functionality and add that toggle back into the quick settings menu?
Thanks.
Exactly! Where's "Mobile Data" ?
Thanks

Go to : Settings>more networks>mobile networks
There you can turn data off and on.
Unfortunately there there is no data toggle for it.
May be we will get with some roms .

The roms that Nottach himself made in the Att forums has both of them toggles. I am currently running it now with no problems

I don't have my S4 yet so I can't tell you for certain, but CyanogenMod should have this as well.
I figured out how to add it to stock rooted. Heres my thread.

Not quite but you can long press any of the notification panel icons to shortcut to the setting. ie, hold wifi icon and it jumps right to wifi setting......not what you're looking for and you probably know that already.....
Ok yeah i knew that...the m8 shows the wifi name when u pull down the notification panel which is what i was asking if the g4 could do
