As per oppo's facebook page, and various other reports,
The N1 will be released on December 10th for $599, or 449 euros.
Now the interesting part - it doesn't say which one.
You have to assume, therefore, that it's the 16 gig version.
That means no date/price for the 32 gig version.
It's dissapointing, but not unexpected given that there is no 32 gig version for China yet.

Yay! Finally a not-to-big Phablet with an open minded manufacturer and an inexpensive 32gig option
CM firmware
I know you are not supposed to ask for a release date, but as I actually payed for CM this time, does anyone has an idea what is the state of the easy to flash CM firmware? There is still no oppo N1 on the CM wiki.
and with easy to flash I mean no rooting and not installing twrp, just flashing from the stock recovery. - Yes, I realize, I 'm cursing in the church right now.

You will be able to flash from stock recovery. You actually can flash the first release of CM on stock recovery right now.
We'll see CM 11 soon on the Oppo N1, and it will be easy to flash. I can't give a date, but I know that it will be soon.

Hi, that is great news. Where can I find that first release? Is it the zip from your TWRP tutorial? Just download to root of my phone and flash in recovery?
That's the fixed version for TWRP. I'll have to upload the original release.

So yeah, I updated to a Dev build about a month ago so I could mess around with it. Slightly buggy though (Google keyboard has totally crapped out on me now) so I'm anxiously awaiting the public release.
Is it a simple update affair or have I gotta do a restore?

Thanks for the link, didn't realise it had been put up yet. I've just installed build lrx21p (I'm assuming this is the correct build for the latest public version) using NRT. All is good again!
With ZTE being unable to support their devices via OTA updates, my new Z978 Blade V8 Pro is stuck at B18. I have searched via alternative search engines, and via VPN, but the only site I see that claims to have files wants $35 for access. I'd be forever grateful if someone could post US update files somewhere, anywhere, where the downloads are free. Or, if I've missed a site or sites that has them, links would be terrific as well. Thank you!

Yeah, I noticed that after I made the post. I thought it was a vanilla ZTE ROM.
After some more looking I never did find one for the V8 Pro.
I too would like any of the files. I'm stuck with B18 until something happens between the US and China.
I see that on the OnePlus forum it mentions a roll out udpate for Android 10, but I still have not seen this on my phone.

Guys, even if you download the 9.0.11 build from https://www.oneplus.in/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=PM1574156155944 and flash it, you shall see the OOS 10 update from system update. If not from system update then download the oxygen updater from play store.
Ok guys...
I'm just trying to figure out why I don't just get an update for it to the phone?
I thought by now everywhere in the world the update would be pushed to the phone already?
Are there still people not getting the update through the phone still OTA?
THANKS
Bite the bullet and manually update. I know it's a PITA; but, if there's no OTA for your phone and you want to upgrade to A10, just go for it. You'll be better off with a fresh install anyway.
Same situation in here. Waiting for Android 10 since May (when stable release rollout was announced).
Edit: I found way too many people talking about bugs on Android 10 (battery drain, fingerprint sensor delay, call recording bug). I'm not sure, but maybe staying on OOS 9.0.11 is the right call.
If someone in here is already on OOS 10, please comment on that. Thanks

I suggest looking in the official OP5/T Android 10 announcement thread. Over 400 pages of complaints and questions and OP doesn't give a ****. The thread is like a disaster area. The first Android 10 update was pulled because of that many bugs. Shortly after they pushed the update again with some hotfixes but with the same version number and without announcement. Then they pulled it again.
Maybe in the next 1-2 weeks there will be an update with some fixes and a more recent security patch. Hopefully not only June like in hydrogen OS but I don't expect much to be honest. I'm almost done with OP
btw I installed OOS 10.0.0 and rooted (to install dotfix + Gcam) and I'm pretty happy with it.
also, google pay stopped working after root. I guess I'll live without it since dotfix is really worth it IMHO.

Either install the global ROM (with a factory reset) or wait a couple of days - EU ROM comes with a slight delay after the global version (if there are no major issues).

You should not lose your warranty (at least in Europe bootloader unlocking won't void it).
I would suggest you to make yourself familiar with flashing in general (adb, fastboot, tools, rom formats etc.) before you attempt something.
Recovery Android 11 EU ROM, flashing from TWRP works fine. Notification LED is finally clearly visible with the latest ROM.

It was the same for me, so I just flashed recovery ROM from TWRP (at first from 12.0.8.0 to 12.0.9.0 and then to 12.0.1.0). It should work with locked bootloader and stock recovery as well (some extra steps like renaming file to "update.zip" and putting it to the root of SD card, or using ADB sideload might be necessary).

I think the A11 EEA Recovery ROM got released but you have to be a Beta tester? Something to do with pilots lol
So hopefully that means there will be a full 11 rollout soon
I thought that EU Andoid 11 version is stable, but it seems to be really only beta as mentioned on 4pda. There are some misalignments in message notifications and phone crashed quite nastily once (had to reboot it 5 times until it finally fully started). RAM usage seems to be a bit too high as well resulting in more app redraws/reloads than necessary. I hope that fixed version will be out soon.
And the very same file is out as official "beta stable" now..

From what I understood how Xiaomi does the updates:
1. at first there is internal beta
2. after successful internal testing, it goes to closed beta
3. after closed beta it goes to public beta
4. if there are no (major) issues, the very same version is released to public in batches as "stable beta" (recovery ROM)
5. if there are no (major) issues, the very same version is released to public in batches as "stable" and fastboot ROM is released as well
So I believe that what we've seen is that "public beta" V12.0.1.0.RJSEUXM became "stable beta" and will transition to "stable" in the coming weeks. However when exactly is it going to hit your phone is impossible to tell, they chose phones by country + some random parameters. Manual installation is probably the best way how to have the latest ROM version.

Exactly this version is now arriving on my German stock phone as an OTA update today. The phone is new and I had never participated in any beta program or anything like that. Thus it should be stable production right now. Is this true?
Did I get this right? Xiaomi is not differentiating beta-version numbers from stable version numbers? In other words: I cannot differentiate the release train between a beta and a stable channel from looking at the version number?
Thank you!

Yes, it seems to be considered as a "stable" now.
And yes, there is no difference in the version number between beta/stable. ROM is not being re-released, it's always the same ROM with the same download link and with the same hash. Beta/stable beta/stable is just a naming convention which changes over time. There is no special beta channel in a traditional sense as you might be used to from PC/ mobile applications.

Thank you, _mysiak_! This is more clear now.
What is disappointing for me is, that now, after I have thoroughly decided to install the OTA update, it has disappeared again and is no longer found by the Xiaomi updater. How strange.
Maybe there were bugs and it is set back to beta status?
You probably never know the algorithms how Xiaomi distributes updates...
Maybe they just save bandwidth right now. ;-)

I've read exactly that explanation - if you don't install the update when it's received, your "slot" is released after few hours/days and offered to someone else. It is supposed to save bandwidth and prevent overload of Xiaomi servers. But I have no idea if it's really true..
So the update will shortly be arriving now as stable update via phone updater. If someone has a link when it arrives you should put it here
There are OTA's available as well.
Is anyone brave enough to try it? Is anyone on it? I am considering side loading it.
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-download-android-13/
If they are planning on it being beta by April it shouldn't be all that bad but I'm probably gonna wait until at least the next build. 12 to 13 isn't as huge a leap as it was from 11 to 12 so I'm guessing/hoping it won't be as buggy as early 12 builds. I'm sure someone will take the plunge to determine if it can be rooted or not.

Well 12L comes out next month officially. No more Android 12 updates.
Hopefully someone takes the plunge. I don't mind doing installing it to do bug reports to ensure the beta is a fun experience.

Maybe in the future we best just mix all three branches together, creating the best Android.

You sure it's build/A13 related? Have you tried out another phone at the same location where your A13 device is?
I've had a mountain of NordVPN connection problems in the most recent months and have troubleshooted so much, even though in the end it was just caused by bad/weak servers, meaning after connecting to new ones it was "solved" - so if you use a VPN, mind that.
