So I just traded my nexus 4 for a tmobile note 2 rooted and running some jedi rom. Is there a stock rooted up to date rom I can flash? Also should I flash a modem and kernel etc? ?? Thank you!
I did a search but the links I did find weren't working, on top of I'm not sure which is the latest software.

Nobody?

There most certainly are. The best close to stock rom out there is Tweaked by dwitherall. Do a search. And read read read.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Thanks I'll check it out. I'm actually looking for literally stock, just keeping root.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk
Go look at teshxx Stock forum. It gives all modem kernel boot.img and rom that is stock and rooted. Flash only the rom though.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app
I think that's the one I tried that the links were down

Found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1969551
Edit: That is for stock only. No root

Those are the odin ones right? Teshxx's links are working now.

You want to look at this:

MrRobinson' root66 is exactly what you seem to be looking for. Totally tmo tw with root. Look for the UVBMD1 version. Personally I won't be going to 4.3 via the anticipated OTA as other TW OTA's have been *frustrating* for users. I am on Tweaked and am quite happy to wait until dwitherell is able to work up a good rom. YMMV.
Hastily spouted for your befuddlement

I wanted to restore my backup of my stock rom in CWM, but for some reason I can't find it now...could anyone direct me to where i can get a stock nandroid backup? Thanks!

Yeah, tried to restore with the Toolkit for GSIII, but that didn't work. Guess it's gonna have to come down to some manual labor! lol
If I want to try some of their cm10 kangs, what do I do after I flash the rom? Do I need a modem to flash or what? There's a lot more dev activity going on over there I want to get a piece haha.

Depends on ROM. jelly beer I just flashed as the modem does not change. Just Nandroid of course and you will be fine. Also keep the radio from tmobile just in case you need to flash it.

Where can I extract or download the radio from so I can keep it on hand.

Cleanrom from at&t works flawlessly on my t889v.

There is a radio in one of the ROMs in the dev section if im not mistaking. I could be wrong though.

re: modem/radio
Will this modem/radio also work with AT&T i747 Galaxy S3 unlocked phones?
That's what I have, and so far I have been using the i747 radio/modem
so I want to be sure it will work on my phone b4 I flash it.
Right now my Baseband is: I747UCKDLK3 which works fine. My cellular carrier is Tmobile.
Thanks!
Does this only work toward stock based ROMs or all

Nonononono!! Don't flash this. This baseband is only meant for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3. Flashing this on your AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 3 would brick your phone.

mrRobinson's stock Injected root roms are pure stock, with all its original stock functionality, just with root.
mrRobinson has the unrooted stock roms too.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975560
FYI:
4.22 Jelly Bean Android SGH-T889 T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 manufacturer (Samsung) version is not out yet. So you are not going to find that with this date I wrote this.
You can find AOSP (Android Open Source Project) versions of 4.22 Jelly Bean Android roms and versions the international Galaxy Note 2 4.22 Jelly Bean Android roms are either can be found now or will be able to be found in a few days or weeks. But these roms do not have everything that would make T-Mobile SGH-T889 Galaxy Note 2 complete. Roms based on international Galaxy Note 2 won't have the WiFi calling feature. And the AOSP roms may not have all the Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 functionality features or even the T-mobile WiFi calling feature.
For now if you want full stock functionality features and T-Mobile features then you need to stick with 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Android roms. MrRobinson's injected root roms does give you the full stock functionality features and T-Mobile features while giving you root. And the stock roms we directed you to does the same with or without root.
PS - As time goes on our devices will get updated. So at that point in time and from that point on some of this information will be incorrect.
