I received the Clear TPU case from eBay today. I had the same one on my Vibrant. It fits great, but there are no cutouts for volume rocker or power button. Got it for $10 USD shipped.

Have the same thing but took it out at once because it was so hard to access the power button and volume rocker! IMO, the best case right now is the one from body glove sold @ tmobile! Has a more pronounced rubber volume and power buttons!

Hey Thanks for the pics.
How is the feeling of the phone with the case on compared to it off in terms of size and feel in hand?
The power and volume buttons are harder to press but the pros of protection override the inconvenience.
In terms of size, it does add a bit of bulk bit not enough to bother me. You can still pocket it and it looks great. I can hold it more securely as well, I dont feel like i will drop this sucker now. Over all for ten bucks its worth it. Highly recommend.

Thanx for posting, I had a similar Aquaflex for my sensation.........Can't go wrong with these, and I dig the fact that the power buttons and vol rocker are covered.
Thanks for the pics! I just ordered this case yesterday and it's nice to see how it fits and looks before receiving it. I had a similar case for my HTC G2 (Desire Z) and I cut parallel slits next to the power button with my Xacto knife to make it easier to push. Works great!

I just received the exact came case in the mail yesterday. Good case, but a little tough to press the volume and power buttons. It also is a bit slick, the phone has fallen out of my pocket when sitting a few times already.
That's one of the beauties about our phone in that it being so thin, a case will even it out perfectly.
Unlike other phones like the MT4GS that was thick already, when I put a case on it it was a brick. Not the case here with ours...
Very fortunate.

I just put on a T-mo brand screen protector and the case makes the edges of the protector come up...blows. On another note, the protectors from the T-mo store go on VERY well. I have zero bubbles or debris under the plastic.

Yeah, I have the same problem too. Can't seem to get right top edge to lay down without moving the top corner of the D30 case up. Oh well, this is just a temporary one till I get a Zagg or something comparable.

Yeah I'm pretty partial to Zagg, had one on my Evo as well as Sensation and never ever hand a issue with them. I'll be ordering a Zagg shortly and I'll report back once I have it on. I'll probably end up switching cases though too as I don't like how hard it is to press both the power and volume buttons with the D30 case. Otherwise it's really a great case, I just think once all the other players start getting their cases out, they'll be a better buy.

Hey everyone, haven't been here in a while. So I orderd my NGP case today. Will have it tuesday with a video review. Keep checking should be here Tuesday. I was going to get the 9 dollar tpu matte black but my cases have to be all matte and I like when my buttons are covered. So I'm hoping this does it for me.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
I have one, used it for 30 seconds and never put it on again. I bought one of those $6 TPU/clear back combo cases and it is infinitely better than the NGP. My biggest complaints about the incipio were the thickness and how difficult it made it to press the power and volume buttons.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
I heard about that. But does the overall case fit good.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
I wasn't happy with the fit, it's certainly not better than the TPU case that everyone loves (including me). I returned mine after having it on my phone 5 minutes because the volume buttons and especially the power button are horrid. I was so disappointed with it I wrote a review on Amazon. The TPU case does not cover the power button and the volume buttons are at least usable. The NGP is not recommended. It's a shame and surprising really, I had an NGP on my iPhone 4S and had absolutely no complaints at all.
Interesting... I.seen your review and 1other the button was fixed with a little Jimmy rigging but the fit was great

I have both the NGP and TPU, NGP is on mine TPU is on my wife's.
NGP
-Looks nicer
-Is too thick
-Makes the volume harder to press (this is actually a good thing IMO)
-Makes the power button too hard but seems to be slowly breaking in (looks like the power button cover could be trimmed out with an exacto knife)
- Fit seems just slightly loose across the back but is overall fine
Had an Incipio case for my Touch Pro2 that was extremely thin not sure why
this one is a little chunky
TPU Matte
-Looks acceptable but not as attractive as NGP
-Glossy front edges look "cheap"
-Perfect fit
-Nice and thin
-Volume button is exposed (this is probably a plus)
-Shows finger oil easily
The finger oil is almost a dealbreaker for the TPU (and I have dry skin like a lizard!)
The TPU is so cheap it almost makes sense to try it first
Thank you for the review! Now thicker? Is a lot thicker or just a little. And is the over all fit in the front?

Overall this case is great fells great and does the job. ill post some pics and a video review later, and i will let you guys and gals know now even though the power buttong is somewhat of a pain, it does not take from the quality of the case.

I pretty much have the same opinion. If you look at the case without the power button issue, it's quite nice. As a matter of fact, I love it. But with the glaring power button issue.. it brings its quality down a few notches.
I also have this case but can honestly say its terrible! The buttons are way to hard to push imo.

How many people have both cases and if you do, which one do you prefer?
Poetic Slimline - http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Slimline-Function-Manufacturer-Warranty/dp/B00E5NOXM4
Moko Ultra Slim - http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Google-New-Nexus-Case/dp/B00CKA1IYU
I think they are going to extremely close in specs. I imagine both would be made of the same type of material and both close to each other in most regards.
I really think it comes down to preference on the cutouts and warranty policy.

I think the biggest difference is how the magnets are implemented. The Moko has that clasp on the center of the right edge while I believe the Poetic has 3 magnets distributed along that same edge. I've also read that there may be some minor differences in the quality of the material and the fit of the plastic backing.

Yea I liked my old Poetic how well it closed. The downside is that it required a whole strip of plastic down the side. The Moko only has 1 magnet and less plastic I think.

This is for people who have received or ordered both. I know there are a few but I'm guessing not a lot of people have both cases yet since they've just started shipping out. I also ordered both but figured it would be a cool to keep a running tab for people who are considering one or the other in the future.

I don't have both. I just read reviews on the forum and ordered the Poetic. Cannot compare.
But poetic offers 3-year warranty. Cannot go wrong.
The poetic warranty is really nice. They've replaced 3 of mine from last year, no questions asked. When the cover got worn, I'd shoot them an email with my amazon confirmation number and another case would arrive in a few days.
I think Moko has a warranty but unsure of the process. Both are cheaply made cases and won't last past a couple months of heavy usage. The "plastic" cover will start to break at the folds.

I'll take some better pictures tonight or tomorrow comparing both.
I prefer the Poetic though. It feels better on the tablet and looks better. The Poetic lays flat better also.

I just got the Poetic slimline today in the mail. It is an amazing case, and built well. The only downside is I can NOT get the auto wake/sleep from the magnets to work. This is something I have gotten used to with my 1st gen. Nexus 7, and once you have a feature, it's hard to live without it. I'm contacting Poetic for a replacement or return. Such a bummer, because this case is truly awesome.
If anyone wants, I can put up pictures when I get back home.

Cool, will try it when I get home in about an hour. I also ordered this case a few days after I got my Nexus 7 (July 26th), and just got the case today. I forgot I even ordered it, and it's by far the longest period of time I've had to wait for a product from Amazon. If it doesn't work, I'm going to email Poetic. I'll update with pictures.
Here are the better cokparison pictures I just took.
Poetic is first and then Moko. I also put them side by side to show the micro fiber difference. The poetic feels better with that part. Also like some mentioned be sure to be carfule taking it out as it does hold the tablet tightly. However if you take it out from inside first it should be eaiser. I did not have any issues also with back seperating.

I have been using this case for a day now and I'm impressed. The fitment is perfect and I love the color combo. The buttons for volume and power work great, they are really easy to press and are responsive. The cut outs for speakers, USB and headphone are perfect. The case is a little more white than the phone and has a mat finish similar to the white Nexus. I will let the photos do the speaking. Sorry for all the lint of the phone.

Actually all those complaints are directed towards the Ultra Hybrid model not this Slim Armor model. That one has a clear back and slightly heavier then this slim armor.
There's also the Ultra Fit and Neo Hybrid which I'd love to see in action as well.
Just ordered this! My phone should be here before this is, but thanks for the review. I had used a Incipio case with my Galaxy S3 and that was also a dual case, the soft part and hard backing. This however seems to be a lot better. Thanks for the pictures. :good:
Great pictures, thanks for that.
I'm interested to know if the Black version of this case is glossy or matt, from the CGI mock-ups on the SPG website it seems matt, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I have the black Slim Armor. It's awesome. I did too have the problem initially with the power button being stuck, but I took the case off a few times and put it back on. Now it's perfect. To be fair, tho, only a slight tap is necessary to hit any of the buttons...they really are that easy to push and activate.

Cannot recommend the cheap ebay ones. This one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=231116130513
(after being shipped more than a week late) only half fits my Moto G (despite having a cutout, it obscures the power/volume buttons and hence makes operation an utterly frustating exercise)

Hi. If you have case even leather with do cover you can use the app hovering controls. It does not work smoothly but simulates what the shell is supposed to do.
A bit annoying is that many times of you keep your hand hovering it will lock your phone disturbing what you are doing.

I'll jump in here and say that I've had several Ringke cases and they've all been great. They are one of my favorite case manufacturers, and they're fairly inexpensive.
Edit: just ordered a clear case as well. I was going to get black, but decided I want either the red or blue shell, so the clear case will show it off.

My ringke slim case came in
Case looks nice doesn't feel or look cheap.
Doesn't add bulk but does make the phone little slippery in the hand
Like how it came with a screen protector and when installed don't add any glare or interfere with the quality of the screen.
And has table lay so if you lay it on the table it won't be touching the screen
And cutoff for the power button and volume button still are easy to press and don't not interfere.
Overall 9/10

There is already quite some choices and availability for Moto G cases, but none of those I can find on the Internet cover the two weak points of a phone, especially this one: the side buttons AND the screen.
The Ringke look like they are the most reliable cases, so are some rubber cases that wrap the phone in the bumper with cutouts for the Volume and Power/lock buttons but... it doesn't protect the screen as much as the flip shell does but the flip shell leaves the definitely flimsy buttons unprotected.
Isn't a case that cover both weaknesses common for other older models ?
