I ordered one on the 15th of Nov an it stated shipped later that evening. It arrived on the 27th and when I opened it only contained the screen protector and back piece although I ordered full coverage. I did a Live Chat and the rep after confirming my order number shipped a full replacement while telling me I can keep the one sent In error. Try a Live Chat if you have the email with the order number they should send you a replacement. Good luck!

[BEWARE] 'Genuine' Samsung pouch/case on ebay (seller: cheapgadget) UPDATED 18-9-11

Just received one of these from this seller on eBay. On the face of it, they look like nice little slip cases with the added benefit of being genuine Samsung (according to the auction title).
However, upon opening the case, I decided to return to the seller; these are the reasons I sent to him via eBay messaging:

1. The hole cut out for the speaker is in completely the wrong place for this phone. Even if you put the phone in upside down, it's the wrong side! The hole doesn't correspond to any other piece of equipment on the device.

I have now completed the eBay returns procedure and will be posting later today. I will update the thread if I ever get a refund. Also, I'm gonna link to this thread in the negative feedback that I give the seller
I've also just noticed that the cheeky sod has updated the auction text to include a note about the hole. See the pics below. His description of the hole is just laughable.

Based on the position of the speaker hole, I think it's a case for the Glaxy S. The seller is just being a cheapskate and try to sell them for S2 owner

Nah you don't need to be clever, you can achieve this simply by bending time.
This is where I've been going wrong. I updated her SGS2's camera firmware last night. All I have to do now is retrospectively apply the pink fix to the photos above. Anyone have a spare chrono-bending appliance handy?
you know what? i have bought the same thing....it is obviously made for sgs1. i gave them negative feedback and i told them i won't send them back the case because i have no time to go to the post office. they fully refunded me and asked me to change the feedback. so i've got the money back and i forced the case with an object to make the phone fit. i think it is one of the best looking cases although it is not a genuine s2 case. could somebody post ebay links to original sgs2 cases looking like this?

argh, how frustrating. i use a 'sock' for my phone, its nice as I can quickly wipe my screen when putting it in or taking it out...(i hate fingerprints)
Indeed. I never put my phone in the case that I have at the moment unless the screen is clean. My reasoning is that if it has grease on it when it goes in, it'll accumulate in the case lining. Yuck.

And indeed, I have had a refund and ebay has closed the case. Now I have a dilemma; Do I leave negative feedback and link to this thread for the world to see or give them neutral feedback and do the same or do as they ask and leave positive?
To be honest, I want to leave negative or neutral just because they've pissed me about so much over a case that's clearly not for the phone it's advertised as being for, made me wait nearly a week for a refund and I had to hassle them for it too.

I have done it this way.

Ok, this is really taking forever... I ordered mine on January 9. Well over three weeks and I still haven't received a shipping e-mail. I e-mailed them and they told me they will ship out "somewhere at the end of next week."

Case Mate Tough case doesn't fit correctly. Good results

I had bought a Case Mate Tough skin case for my phone, and it's had a lot of issues with the power button fit, it would turn off and on by touching the area anywhere near it. I looked around case-mate.com and noticed this case is not on their website, so I contacted Case Mate and they say it's a known issue, and are going to ship me a new one when they come in sometime during in the next 2-4 weeks.. Good customer relations.

yeah I was pissed.. I had one on my last phone, (Nexus 1) and it was amazing. I dropped my phone several times and it never had a scratch. Sabooher - contact them, they didn't ask for me to send mine back, or see a receipt..
Not even sure i would want a replacement. LOL The plastic part of the case is great. Its the silicone part that sucks. I learned my lesson this time.

I wish I would have found this thread before I bought this case. I am really disappointed with this case for the GN. I have had tough cases on several phones and they sure messed this one up. I have sent customer service an email so hopefully they will replace mine as well.

Sadly for me because I ordered mines directly from Case-Mate.com rather than a reseller. They provided me with a coupon that gives me 20% off but wouldn't give me a free replacement and said that the free replacement is only for people who bought the case from a reseller. HOWEVER, they did refund me for the purchase I made on the Tough Case. So pretty much, I got the case for free if I want to continue using it with the current flaws of it.
So pretty much:
buy case from reseller -> free replacement
buy case from case-mate.com -> coupon code off
They also said the revised case for the Tough Case & Pop coming out later this month will fit both GSM & CDMA models.
i sent a mail to case-mate .
The case-mate Tough for the galaxy nexus is now not available in their website :

Hoping I'm OK and that I got in fast enough; the site still shows "100+" in stock, and my Paypal payment shows "completed". The order page just says "Your order will be processed soon. Our order processing team work 8am - 6pm weekdays." though, and it isn't clear what time zones that's for. (My order was charged by Paypal well before 6pm Central, and other things on the site mostly seem to reference Central time.)
Guess I'll find out tomorrow, but Corey, if you're around and feel like taking a weight off my mind, speak up! ;-)

It didn't say that earlier. My guess is they've sold out of their first 100+ units already, and don't expect to receive another shipment for four days.
It still said "100+" a full hour and a half after my order was placed, which was when I last checked, but they were out of stock an hour later apparently.

I don't believe you missed it. We just had a fraudster order batches of 100's til it quit showing stock. We have deleted those orders so it should be showing stock again very soon. The fraud attempts still amaze me.

Wow. That is just unreal. I'm surprised your system will even accept an order of that volume without requiring an override of some kind; that'd be getting on for US$70,000 per order!
On the plus side, this presumably means my own order must've been received while it was still in stock. You said they're supposed to ship tomorrow, and I got two-day shipping, so that means a phone by the weekend. Woo hoo!!! :-D

[WARNING] UK Mobile Store

Ordered the HTC One X HC C700 Clear case last Friday (27th) as they had them in stock. Order placed and status changed to 'Shipped' Friday afternoon. Still don't have the item and their website now says Stock in on the 7th May.
They are not answering emails so I'd recommend people NOT to use them. I'm going to be getting my money back ASAP as I can get it cheaper elsewhere once released but I thought I'd pay a little more to get it early

It's suspicious that they haven't got back to you, however I remember a few years back I pre-ordered the Xbox 360 S, it was put down as shipped three weeks before it was released, but then changed to 'Expected'.. It could just be an error, however they should get back to you!

They are available, I got one a few weeks ago from a different supplier on eBay - they only had 2 in stock though.
Im in the exact same situation, i paid with google checkout for the same case. How do i get my money back, they are ignoring my calls and emails now. Does google help you out when you use their checkout? Thanks. By the way as a really good alternative i bought the melko case which is clear and it looks better in my opinion. From mobilefun at 12.99

FINALLY got a response from them today after threatening to get onto PayPal about the situation. Should be getting it by the end of the week along with a free HTC PO S360 Case as the HC C700 is cheaper then it was when I ordered it originally on the 27th April
I'll believe it when I see it but hoping not to have to take it further

I spoke to them yesterday when it WAS in stock (and I did notice it went to out of stock by the evening). If I've not got it by tomorrow I'm getting onto PayPal

Ordered mine from Handtec. They told me 14th as well.
HTC are useless. How can they have no stock of such basic stuff to give to companies. It must cost them a fortune in lost sales
