[Q] Does the G Pad get hot? - G Pad 8.3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I have been looking for a good tablet and the G Pad fit the bill.
I just had a question about the tablet heating.. I have a HTC One and it has an aluminium back and a Snapdragon 600 and it gets warm to the touch after 20-30 minutes of browsing/gaming. I know the internals get hot in all the phones but the slim phone+metal back+small size means the back gets pretty warm quickly.
The G Pad has very similar internals and has a aluminium back too.. Does it get warm like the HTC One? Or does the bigger size mean it can handle the heating better?
Thanks

I don't know how hot the HTC One gets, but while browsing (even for hours), the G Pad definitely doesn't get hot. While gaming, it depends on what game are you playing. But even when playing HW-challenging (lol, I still don't know the right name for it), it isn't get like really really hot. It's just warm or a little bit more warmer, but I wouldn't call it hot. Well, it's just my opinion.
By the way, it get's warm only in the upper part of the tablet, near camera, probably there's the CPU.

Hot no, warm yes.
As the previous poster suggested the heat comes from the top middle of the tablet.

Thanks a lot. Everything gets warm after intensive gaming.. As long as it's not uncomfortable, it shouldn't be a problem.

I can wholly reccomend the g pad. The only similar priced similar specced alternative is the nexus 7, yes the screen is a tiny bit sharper, yes the screen is a tiny bit brighter, but 8.3 really is the sweet spot in terms of size. My nexus 7 screen looks positively tiny next to it. I dont think I could ever go back to 7 inch.
Add the benefit of sd cards to the g pad and you have a winner

[Q] Will having a smaller screen affect my experience

hello people,
okay im thinking of buying a WP7 device but but i can't decide between Omnia 7 or LG optimus 7,
i can get either one of them in 16gb, as i can just get the omnia 7 16gb from germany change the language to english and the optimus comes in 16gb only anyway so storage isn't problem
the only difference is that the omnia is bigger and has better screen according to people, but i dont really care about having/not having an SAMOLED while the lg looks slimmer and easier to hold, and alot of people have said the back and search button on the omnia is too sensitive so im guessing that would be bad when reading or playing games
so question 1; can you stick the omina in a skinny jeans while sticking an earphone in the head phone jack or is it too big?
2: would having a 3.8inch screen on the lg affect gaming and reading books on the phone as it seems almost all smartphones are required to have a 4.0inch or bigger screens
Well i have a Mozart because of its nice "pocket-size".
But i have to admit that the Omnias screen is really nice and has a lot of advantages while browsing/reading etc, but i prefer a phone which easily fits into my pocket because i am not reading or surfing all the time.
Seriously, most of the time your phone will be in your pocket, so you have to test out, which phone you prefer
I'm posting this from an LG quantum. I believe it has the smallest screen of all wp7's. I've checked out the focus, and to be honest I don't at all think my experience is any worse. Everything comes thru clear and looking very high res. And even that would be a plus of a smaller screen, higher pixel density.
These phones are very high end, I don't think screen size will make that much of a difference.
Oh and skinny jeans? Really? 2007 called, it wants its feminine douchebag fashion back.
Omnia7 has a better form factor and of course the amazing amoled, and IMHO it does matter. What I don't like with the optimus 7 is its home key button, it looks quite cheap and I believe it doesn't wake up the screen if pressed coming from sleep. As for the omnia7 back and search buttons, its true...being quite sensitive. I have a fried who has big hands and keeps on hitting it accidentally as he uses the device for browsing. For me, I already get the hang of using it without hitting it. So it takes a little getting used to but the pros outweigh the cons that's for sure especially if you say you can get the 16GB version. I only have the 8 but I'm I still have 2 GB left after all the stuff I have.

I would go for the LG. I've had my HD7 for about a month and I hate the capacitive buttons more than I could have ever imagined hating them. I have to always be conscious of how I hold my phone because if your finger grazes the wrong part of the phone you'll get kicked out of whatever you were doing. I type way slower than I used to type on my much smaller iPhone because I need to be extra careful when I hit the space bar; if I overshoot it by a millimeter I hit the home key. I also type slower because I can't hold the phone with my optimal grip, the capacitive buttons force you to keep your hands clear of that area.
For the life of me I can't figure out why someone would prefer capacative buttons.
I would go for the LG just because it feels better built the Samsung is all plastic and feels a little cheap.
Screen size I think is negligible in this case as .2 inches isn't really a big deal. At least I don't think so.

The size difference is about .5 I believe when you are comparing thinness.
I would say that the screen difference is neglectable at best.

Omnia 7 uses metal. Probably explains why it is 20g heavier than the Focus.

Yeah actually at first I wondered why LG would make the home button on the quantum a physical button, but after reading about the sensitivity, and noticing how sensitive the back and search button on mine are, I'm glad they did. And I assume it was on purpose with this knowledge?
You can use the iPhone as a comparison, assuming you've used one. It has a 3.5" screen, and I find it's big enough for most tasks.

IMO 4" are better than 4.3" in this case HTC really has lost their way.
That said, I wish there was a Samsung device with a 4.3" (or perhaps even 4.5") screen.
i wanted to get the Samsung Omnia 7 just for the amoled screen. But 8GB of memory is too little for me so i got the HD7. The screen wasn't as bad as i expected (coming from the HD2) its really nice and colourful.
4,3? damn before i would buy that i would go for a 7" one
$10 credit card sized phone and serious touch tablet

My point wasn't that bigger was too big, but that if 3.5" isn't too small, then neither will 3.8/4" be.

The Omnia 7 has a more or less complete metal casing.
I'd get the LG Optimus 7. I compared it with the Samsung Omnia 7 in a store and I THINK THE SCREEN ON THE LG IS BETTER.
Why:
1)
Most OLED screens have a lower effective resolution than normal LCDs because they have fewer subpixels. If you compare both you will notice text on webpages etc is looking jagged on OLED displays and much smoother on normal LCDs.
Search for "pentile matrix" on google.
2)
OLED screens consume big amounts of power when the image is very bright (black text on white background like on most web pages). To reduce power the OLED is auto-reducing brightness if an image with many white areas is displayed. WTF! This would p*ss me off. At least the store units did this and changed brightness while scrolling from dark areas to bright areas on a web page.
3)
OK the black levels on OLED are better but the LG's arent that bad.
Viewing angles arent good on the LG but I dont notice this at all in daily use.
Other points:
4)
Hardware buttons instead of touch (though the buttons arent that great but they do their job).
5)
Many free LG exclusive apps available.
6)
Hacking: Integrated MFG-tool with many options like a basic registry editor without unlocking (unlock works fine btw).
I bought an Optimus 7 and its working quite well. Second on my list was the Mozart which is also very nice, but I activated the capacitive search button by mistake all the time while testing.
Optimus 7 downsides:
-Headphone out has sligtly audible background noise, even more when on an active GPRS connection
-My device creaks a bit if you press it in between your fingers with force
-Pinkish spot in center of pictures taken with camera
-Supplied headphones are a piece of **** at least compared to my Koss Porta Pro
-First unit had broken bluetooth, had to send it in for repairs, now its ok
-Ringer volume is kinda low (no secondary speaker)

[Q] Lg g pad 8.3 or google nexus 7 2013

I m looking to buy a tablet, but torn between the two. I play with both device in Best Buy, they both look awesome. I do like the LG for the bigger screen, thin design, look good, and sd card, read about it people stating battery is not very good about 6-7 hours, and dpi is only 273. I like Nexus cuz it come with google pure 4.3 and 4.4 is coming, no bloat ware, the screen is nicer brighter, 323dpi, but smaller screen, one thing I don't like cuz it doesn't have sd card expansion, and heard GPS is a problem. LG 16gb/w microsd slot for $349. And Nexus 32Gb/no slot for $269. Which one is the right one to buy here......Or Nexus 8 rumor coming....
I had the nexus 7, but v will never go back, after playing with the G PAD. IT,s so great on many things. Clever progs, great screen and a little bigger screen. And it,s Damn fast too ?

Agreed. I love mine. It's rooted, sat at 100% since this afternoon 12, and it's 12:45 am right now, and still sitting at 100%. So, the idle battery doesn't even die much unless you're letting useless programs run. I use Advanced Task Killer. Have always used it for my Note 1, Note 2, Note 3, and now my LG G Pad. Works wonders and keeps battery levels great. Just make sure you don't kill any random apps that keep opening up. Also, it's good to freeze useless apps with Titanium if you're rooted. It's super smooth. I've had zero issues with it.
I had the '13 Nexus 7, and while it's a great device (love wireless charging) I found the screen size too small.
I absolutely love the G Pad. I think the 8.3 screen is just about perfect, and the the LG stock rom is very good.
Unlike some people, the battery life has been exceptional for me, and the brightness doesn't bother me much since I usually use the device in bed to read.
I was set on getting the 32gb nexus 7 but then the best buy pre-order popped up for the G Pad. The added screen size, overall design/ build and expand doable memory moved me this way. Loving this thing.
I went through 3 32gb 2013 Nexus 7s. They each had the multi-touch bug, even after the last 4.3 update (JSS15Q?). They were beyond unusable. Couldn't play games, couldn't use Google Maps, could barely use Chrome. I won't be trying any other Asus made Nexus devices for a while, it's clear they cut too many corners trying to keep costs down. I'm probably going to get a G Pad 8.3 but I'm waiting to see if any development is going to come to it. Been a bit slow so far.
I have a nexus flo and a g2...love my g2 ...nexus is plain and dull..screen is great but the stock os takes zero advantage of it, and some apps look worse then they do on my g2... I don't get people's fascination with stock android. I'm guessing the g pad would be close ui wise to the phone, and, had it been out before I bought my nexus it'd be g pad hands down.

Have them Both
My Nexus 7 (2013) has hardware issues.
I've had the G Pad 8.3 for 2 weeks now. My Nexus 7 has been to the repair center and soon I'll be sending it to a landfill and not looking back.
The G Pad rocks.
I think that the only advantages of the nexus are that it's smoother, lighter and the screen is brighter. Only had the gpad two days so I guess I still have to really make my mind about it.

i'll probably buy one, but waiting to see if anyone starts working on some custom roms for it first
Hard to compare with the size difference... I find the 7 to be too small and have crazy large bezels. I am very happy to be getting the G Pad with the 8.3. With newegg's price they are almost the same (I got mine for 260... only a 30 dollar difference)
The nexus will get more updates but I find stripped android to be boring unless you have custom roms with Mods. The G Pad will have little to no updates so you get what you get. Still excited!
well good news, looks like we'll see something eventually. dalingrin just bought one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47958836&postcount=26
i have a lot to thank him for, especially since he did work on the hp touchpad
For me, GPad has better aspect ratio then N7 - it's better for daily use
I have both on the way right now and will only keep one... I will post impressions here if you think it would help

I know this isn't what some will want to hear since this is the G Pad forum after all, but I had the G Pad for about a week. It wasn't a bad tablet, but I returned it to Best Buy and decided to wait for either hard evidence of a Nexus 8 or a good deal on a Nexus 7. I got the N7 32gb last week for $229 and haven't looked back. Even if an N8 was announced today I'd think long and hard about keeping the N7 assuming there'd be a significant price difference.
The N7 is as fast as I could want it to be. I wouldn't say it's noticeably slower than my Nexus 5. Where the N5 has pretty much zero lag, the N7 will lag occasionally, but that's the only difference. Otherwise it is buttery smooth. I was skeptical about whether or not the N7 would work for me b/c I thought the 7 inch screen would be too small, but after having it for a week, I'm totally satisfied with it. It's great for reading and browsing and even works well for comics. As for the bezels...I see people use this as a knock on the N7 and I used to think the same way, but after having the G Pad for a week I realized that you need to have some bezel if you want to be able to hold the thing comfortably. With the G Pad I kept accidentally touching the edge of the screen while trying to hold it and it was really irritating.
One of my biggest complaints about the G Pad was the dim screen -- seriously, it's ridiculously dim...by comparison I was able to read a book on the N7 at under 50% brightness with the sun coming in through a window behind me, whereas the G Pad was almost unusable in any conditions under 50% brightness. I also had the blue line which it seems to me every G Pad has. I know it's hard to notice, but I don't like that it appears when the thing heats up...speaks to possible greater quality control/reliability issues.
Anyway a summary of why I prefer the N7:
Better battery life observed (I get closer to 7 or 8 hours of screen time on the N7 where I got around 5-6 on the G Pad)
Brighter screen on the N7...like Waaaay brighter
More comfortable to hold, both b/c of the bezels and because of the grippy back -- found the G Pad to be too slippery
Stock android (got Kit Kat already)
I have had no issues at all with the N7...I know some have touchscreen issues but mine has worked flawlessly.
B/c I have an N4 and N5 in the household I am getting wireless chargers for all 3 devices.
The G Pad is not bad and I would probably say if you absolutely positively must have 8+ inches then you should get it if you can find a deal, but if I was holding out for that particular size still I would wait to see exactly what the LG V510 is first (i believe it is a Nexus 8, but don't think it is necessarily imminent). For me, the 7 inch screen is working out just fine, so if you think you'd be satisfied with that size then I would say get a Nexus 7.
i've been spoiled on 10 inch tablets and its hard to 'upgrade' to a new 7 inch one. 8.3 seems like a compromise, still small but not too small as a 7. hopefully that rumor would be true. it looks like the specs are near identical to the gpad though, maybe google will just rebrand the gpad as a nexus?

The V510 could be a Nexus 8 or it could be a G Pad LTE. Either is possible.
yeah, i'm hoping for a nexus version b/c i do like nexus devices, but who knows at this point. i read up on the leaked manual today. not much more info to be gleaned from it however =/
the gpad is on sale for $249 at newegg today with promo code CYBERMND16. thursday there was a flash sale for $179, which i sadly missed. tempting prices.

for me, 7 and 10 inches are almost not even comparable. I have a 10 inch tablet, and specifically wanted something smaller so it was easier to hold while reading and such. The 7 is filling that niche nicely for me.
G pad has been in the drawer for a while now. Nexus 7 is just so much better to use for me. G pad screen is too dark, sound is crap and it feels like it weighs twice as much as the Nexus. Yes for some things it might be better than the Nexus, but the Nexus is so nice to use overall.
Probably sell it or give it to my mom next time I visit her.

Coming from the LG G2.

Hey guys I'm coming from the LG g2 (TMO) to a brand new TMO Note 3!
LOOKS
The LG g2 does have it's pros:
Nice dark pattern on the back
Front looks sleek
Slightly curved from the back to fit the Palm
Cons:
Heavy
Nothing to give it a wow factor
LG logo in the middle of the bottom of the screen
Note 3
Pros:
"Leather" backing
Silver frame
Physical home button
Light weight
Cons:
Easy to drop
Dust collects around the frame near the screen
Performance
G2 pros:
No lag
Smooth game play (asphalt 8)
I don't know how to explain this but I can tell the performance goes down to save battery life but it still runs fine.
Cons:
Multitasking games crashes
Battery life dies down quickly if playing performance heavy games
Note 3
Pros:
Easily over clocked
Smooth gaming
Multi tasking between email, games, internet
Camera
G2 pros;
Good under dark lighting without using flash
Colors are near original of the actual area of the picture
Cons:
The worst part of the phone, LAG
Tries to focus a lot on it's own
Note 3 pros:
Good under bright lighting
Enhanced colors
HUGE number of options like sport, best face, etc.
Cons:
Since it's so light it's hard to keep the phone still so pictures come out a bit weird
Battery life
G2 pros: stays at 100% for a while
Battery saver is better than the more's
Bigger than the s4 battery
Cons:
Can not keep up after passing 70%
Gets really hot
Can't take it out
Note 3 pros:
HUGE battery
Doesn't get very hot
Can pull it out
Cons:
Battery life Is a bit up and down (stays at some number then drops instantly)
Dies out fast at less than 35%
Wish the g2 had an SD card slot otherwise 32GB was good enough for me.
Screens are a bit hard to compare but I have to admit the screen size and estate are better on the note 3. The g2 still has a nice screen but it's a bit darker than the g2 at max brightness. And it does have nice detailing In the little spots that help out.
I'm not saying I didn't like the g2 it was a great phone but I honestly believe Samsung out did themselves with this.
Hope I helped you guys in some way!

Moto 360 compared to LG G Watch?

I was holding out for the Moto 360 (and still am actually) but I missed the best buy online order by 10 minutes the first day....then found a Best Buy with 2 in stock on Monday and got there 15 minutes later to find them gone.
I couldn't wait any longer so I picked up the LG G Watch just to check out Android Wear while I wait for Motorola to get their act together.
Just spent the past few hours with it and I've got to say I'm loving the Android Wear software/interface! Judging by reviews and posts I've seen, I didn't think the software would be anything special, but I think it's the perfect UI for a smartwatch.
Has anyone here gone from an LG G Watch to the Moto 360? I just want to know how much of a decrease to expect in performance and screen quality. The screen on the LG G Watch is really pretty damn good, I don't see any pixels from a normal viewing distance, a HUGE upgrade from my Sony SW2. Also the performance surprised me, the touch screen is very responsive and all the animations are fluid, haven't seen any hiccups or lag.
If anyone can chime in with their experiences on both watches that would be awesome.

I have had both watches. Just sold my LG G Watch actually. I loved the LG for the ability to swap out leather bands. No special notches, no needing to measure if the band will fit "inside" the watch like the Moto does. I had a sweet custom watchband made for it and wanted to use it for the Moto, but alas, the band was way too thick to insert into the watch.
Now saying that, the Moto is a minor upgrade from the G watch IMO. The display is better IMO. Not sure if it's the roundness but the screen is crisp. Also the responsiveness is on par with the G watch. The moto has a button! LOL I know not a deal breaker, but great to use in a pinch to dim the screen right away rather than put my sweaty palms on the watch lol.
The moto's bezel is nice and minimal compared to the G watch. And stylistically, I "like" the round factor compared to the G watch's rectangle factor only because I own a lot of other types of watches and they are for the most part....round lol.
Battery: I have to say LG has a bit better battery than the Moto. Kinda surprised me because I would think they would use the moto fit knowledge and incorporate that into the battery here. Yesterday, I had an average of 6.33%/hour decrease in power on the moto in about 9.5 hours with ambient off and ambient screen off with the display to level 1. For the LG, my set up was screen always on, display to 1 and that lasted a good 12 hours and that averaged about 5.5% decrease per hour. All the decreases are dependant on usage of course. But I am measuring a typical work day with no navigation usage, and with constant texts/emails/and calls in the measured period. Oh and I have to also preface that the G watch was running the Ghoma rom which did optimize the battery according to the dev.
Today, I am testing out the moto with the ambient screen on and the ambient to AUTO and see how long it lasts for me today. So far I am averaging 7%/per hour. Hopefully this improves with time with the power cycle!
Bottom line, am I glad I switched? YES. The G watch was getting less and less wrist time because of my other watches and the moto kicked it back into rotation. The style is key here for me.

Awesome detailed comparison, I'm even more excited to get my 360 now!
Just thought I'd answer my thread with my own comparison too:
Went in to Best Buy today and actually got to see the Moto 360 in person for the first time, and this is after using the LG G Watch for a few days. The screen seems so much bigger! Round really gives you a decent chunk more of screen real estate, and that thin bezel looks amazing on it. I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference between PPI in the two which surprised me, so the 360 screen is fine. It also seemed brighter than the G Watch. The band on it was much more comfortable than the plastic sticky G Watch band. Also I didn't notice any performance hiccups, it seemed just as "smooth" as the G Watch, which means it's more than adequate.
The only thing I don't have experience on now is 360 battery life, but if the difference is really just 1% an hour more drain than I will be fine! The lowest I got my G Watch down to was 20%.
TLDR: If the LG G Watch was $179.99 and the Moto 360 was even $299.99, I'd say the Moto 360 is still better for the money.
I own an lg watch and am definitely getting the moto ,360 when they release it in Canada.. Would use it for special occasions and parties , whereas the g watch would be my silly driver.. Battery should not be a problem
Okay I've had the Moto 360 for 2 full days now and here's what I think.
The screen actually is a bit more pixelated, but since it's bigger you can hold it back further to the point where you can't tell a difference. On the plus side the contrast / brightness seems better on the 360.
Performance wise, I do see lag on the 360 which I never saw on the LG G Watch. Whenever you first touch the screen it lags for a half second (I'm guessing the CPU underclocks and then overclocks when you touch it.) When you keep touching it after that moving back and forth between cards it stays smooth, but then if you don't touch the screen for a few seconds and go back to it it lags again. This is a little bit annoying but definitely not a deal breaker. I bet if there were custom roms for this, a developer could fix this issue and give us better battery life to boot lol.
I just keep looking at my wrist and thinking wow, this thing looks incredible. haha

Anyone else moving to Nexus 6?

First of all.. I LOVE this phone. Sooooooooo much better than any Samsung on the market. BUT I am sooooo tired if the bad battery life and the lag.
I've been playing with the nexus 6 a lot at work ( Tmobile) and I LOVE how fast, smooth and beautiful it is. And the nexus 6 with the bigger battery and optimized for android 5.0 is supposed to get much better battery
The nexus won't be much bigger than my current setup. Going to go with a cruzerlite tpu case on it... It will be about the same size as my g3 with an otter box on it.
Anyone else switching? And why
Oh.. I'm actually going to miss the back buttons. I fell in love with them. But I like how all nexus buttons are in thumb reach like the Sony.. buttons on top of phone and/or on both sides of the phone is a horrible idea
Sent from my LG-D851 using XDA Free mobile app
I moved to the Nexus 6 and returned it within the buyers remorse period was over.
Cons
Battery
Pink-ish tint on low brightnes
Camera
Finger print magnet
Pros
Screen size
Speakers
In hand feel
Camera
Lollipop
Speed
I do not have a opinion on the nexus but I also think the back buttons are amazing. I do differ on the top/bottom button though, right side power button is the next best thing imo.
I saw it the T-Mobiles store. Speakers were amazing. Loved the screen size. Pretty much all.
The screen is just horrible. Isn’t just because is crapmoled, is just a really bad screen. There is no mode to reduce the over saturation as Samsung has. It is something really wrong with that screen; you can see a rainbow effect with the blue-greyish color of the interface, especially when pulling down the notifications bar. That bezel is just gigantic on the sides; bigger than my ex-nexus 4. Screen is way dimmer than the LG G3. I don’t remember what kind of tint but white colors were not whites at all.
Doesn’t have a functional notification light. Seriously?
Non removable battery. No thanks, had enough of that already.
This is personal taste but I think the Motorola curved design is ultra-ugly. Not to mention the huge nexus stamp on the back that looks so ghetto.
Had a 64gb Nexus 6 for about 5 days and returned it during the buyers remorse period.
I'm now using a Moto X 2014 pure edition with lollipop as my daily. My G3 is back in the box, I will take it out and start using it again once official lollipop gets pushed for it.
What I liked about the Nexus 6.
Design, very nice looking device, feels solid and well made. Speakers were nice and loud but lacked "fullness" like the HTC M8. Camera is very nice also, I think the pictures look better in low-mid light compared to the G3. Outdoors it's a tie.
What I did not like..
I admit, I like AMOLED screens but Motorola took the oversaturation to the next level. Same like my Moto X, everything just looks weird to my eyes. Samsung is getting much better with toning down their AMOLEDs and Motorola seems to be picking up where Samsung left off.
Stutters, there are still some micro-stutters present. Sometimes swiping fast to the right to access the Google Now page will cause the phone to stutter. I thought pure Android Lollipop on top end specs with ART runtime as default would provide the fastest and smoothest Android experience... nope.
My Moto X on Lollipop is smoother, believe it or not. Might be the software encryption on the Nexus 6 slowing things down. Games don't seem to run as smoothly either.
Size, I like my phones big but even with my Ringke slim case on, this phone is borderline comical in size.
So after using it for a few days, I found that I liked my Moto X 2014 edition better plus with the Cyber Monday coupon deal, I got it for basically half the price of the Nexus 6. Heck I even think my One Plus One was an overall better device with better battery life, smoother performance and much nicer screen.
It's nice that the Nexus 6 came first with Lollipop and all but now many devices are running Lollipop also so I don't see the appeal anymore, frankly I think it was massively overpriced. $784 here after tax and overnight shipping, definitely not worth the price so back it went.
I thought about it, but the phone is just too big and it feels awkward to hold. My G3 with the Cruzerlite case on is a lot easier to manage in hand than a Nexus 6 with no case on. I can easily use the G3 one handed and that just won’t be possible with the Nexus 6. Tried fooling around with my friend’s phone and it’s just doing nothing for me.
Development scene has picked up enough for the G3 that I’d call the G3 a better Nexus than the Nexus 6 is if both devices are running stock or stockish Lollopop. It’s big for no reason and with Google making no effort at all to design apps for large devices or even OS features to take advantage of the screen real estate, I just can’t hand over my money that easily to them. After the 4, 5, and 7, it looks like I’m done with the Nexus brand while I patiently await the G4.
I agree.
I tried every way possible to justify getting rid of my G3 for a N6. The more I tried, the more I found ways to tweak what I didn't like. Now, with it all customized, it is the best phone I have ever owned.
The only phone I am waiting on now is the G4.
