in MK4 nothing happend
in all 4.1.2 charging and audio
in non touchwiz i get charge only and no audio... in setting the audio via usb option stay grey...
I have the same cable (in white), trying to connect the phones output to ford(sony) input.
I use sotmax rom (v14 / 4.3) but for the life of me cannot get it to work.
No charge and no Audio output!!!
I assumed it would act as being docked to get the USB out sound.
The micro USB connector looked as if it did not got in far enougth so h ave removed some of the plastic asround the plug so I know its in deep enough.
I've tried in Settings/General/Acessory/.Audio Output Mode ticked and unticked/
Has anyone had any success connecting USB out?

Hey guys I'm currently looking for a gadget where you basically plug the dock to the wall socket.
But instead of the dock being a pin connecter like for example this:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The dock has multiple USB plug-in (2 would be nice if not one is fine) So I can charge more than one usb rechargable device such as an iPod and the phone while using them.
Is there such device?
Thanks guys
EDIT: If there is none, I'm thinking of buying a portable battery charger. If anyone has recommendations of good ones that is durable and does the job please feel free to share.
something like this?

just run usb charger in ebay, make sure its not for ipod...

No, I'm looking for a thing where that USB part of the charger is a wire and leads to a "dock" where I can place on my desk but has 2 or one USB port.
I want something that will plug directly into a micro USB phone. I'm aware of the multitudes of this design:

I had one, thought it was garbage, it made an irritating noise both charging and discharging, its connection was hit and miss as bumping it might disconnect it, and eventually less than 6 months later it stopped working. It was advertised as a 2800mAh but its charge was extremely poor. Yet, those are the only type of chargers I can find, all from various companies using the exact same design.
The Motorola P790 is ideally the type of thing I'm looking for, it even comes with a slide out USB so it can't get damaged, but it's no good since it's a mini USB and would require packing around cords:
I'm not looking for a mega charger, one charge or so is fine as I'm not trying to carry around more than a second phones weight in a charger. I find it extremely odd that with so many phones out there, there hasn't been a decent micro USB charger without cords that I can find.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hello CM9 developers,
I've tried this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1492461
I have an issue on recharging my batery
It doesn't work on the plug and when im conecting it to my mac it appears a warning:

It says, that the device charging is disabeld in order to prevent damaging other usb devices.
I guess the device asks for to much power. Something is wrong for sure.
The disadvantag is that i am not able to recover anything till my battery is not alive, any help guys?
Does charging with the stock charger that came with the device still work?
If it does I'd say this is not a ROM issue, but a computer issue. Did you plug any other USB devices into your computer? Did you try a different USB port?

the stock charger is not working, like conecting to to the my Mac.
Im trying now to put a new Rom and doing a ful Wipe.
Which Wipe is recommanded? im still using the FULL_WIPE_1.5_EXT4_, but i think its pretty old
regards
OK, that sounds bad...
I guess wiping and using a different ROM should be the best option then. I'd recomment SuperWipeG2+ext4 for wiping.

Are you suppose to get a notification if you plug one in without any usb device atatched? Im getting nothing so I supposed I bought a broken otg cable.

He's talking about when nothing is connected to the adapter. I does not give a notification as it shouldn't. Just like if you connect a usb cable to a computer with nothing attached.

And I am saying I always DO get a notification when i plug in my otg connector . even with no device connected . ..
My OTG cable (monoprice brand) gives a "USB Connector Connected" notification when you attach it with nothing connected.
It also works fine.
So, like if I get no notification? Is it working properly?
I miss the old ages, when my SGS i9000 was able to charge while it was in OTG mode.
I wonder if its possible for the SGN N5100.
OTG mode + charging Note 8.0.
On this machine is the chip TSU6111A (ACTIVE) Dual SP2T Micro-USB Switch with integrated impedance and charger detection.
Using the datasheet TSU6111A and manipulating a variable resistor found the necessary resistance in 64.9K between 4 and 5 foot USB defined as connected to "Connected to the stand" with dietary intake in the tablet from the USB device and the machine starts mounting on the periphery of the active hub.
P.S. all other denominations for both types of connections for audio, video and sign in bootloader mode tablet work.

Kernel from Samsung has this feature disabled.
You need a kernel with "CONFIG_MUIC_MAX77693_SUPPORT_SMART_DOCK" enabled.
I get Molecule Kernel sources and make my own version, now I can use charge and otg at same time.
What version of rom did you use?

I use the same rom, but with my own kernel.
I used 66K resistor, that worked, and now I get some 65K.
If you need, I can sent to you my compiled kernel, you need heimdall and to install in a rooted device.
