I was wondering if it is possible for someone to package the file in cm 6.1.2 that adds the universal music control to the lock screen. I have the newest fresh rom 3.5 and I use the vanilla lock screen so it should be similar, I just don't know how to make flashable zips or where to begin to look for the right files..... please and thank you. Btw this is for the htc evo 4g.

It's actually more complex than it sounds.
But it is something that should be native to Android.
Android needs to have more music implementation.

I already replied to you about the sense 3.0 lockscreen in Neo's thread..READ the first post..there are two versions, one with stock lockscreen and above it another one with sense 3.0 lockscrn.
If you mean full screen weather animations, remove your clock widget, go to widgets, select it again and after the city selection there is an option about full screen animation->uncheck it

thanks, it worked, no more anoying weather animation
about the lockscreen, i realy dont want to reflash, took some time to clean out all the apk´s i dont use. would be easier just to apply a .zip in recovery... but if there aint a working patch i guess i have to live without that lockscreen...

You can wipe dalvik/cache and reflash though, you won't loose anything.

Accuweather Widget and Main Themed
Well friends, after a really hard work, I present to you the S2 Accuweather Widget and main app themed.
i'm porting the AccuweatherWidget + Main from galaxy s3 thread:

so It should work on any JB odex/deodex rom even on cm10+ with tuchwiz.
Also if you are on a stock odex rom it may work if you delete the .odex files
I have tested on deodexed LSW rom and it works like a charm
To Install it just flash the zip via CWM. This will replace your stock widget and main apk so make a backup of both apk just in case
something goes wrong.
If you have any problems then delete the widget and the main apk data and then reboot.

There is a bug in the white theme when you press the weather map the icons is dark and it's hard to see the weather conditions.
and in both themes there is a bug in weather map, when you press on city the weather icons will not be sorted properly until you add them to the list.

Hi smoky-jr,
i love your work. Do these work on cynagenmod 11 (i am using the nightlies from 26/07/14)
I have downloaded S2S3-AccuweatherWidget-Main-FullColorful.zip & S2S3-AccuWeatherWidget-FullColorful-Mod05.zip, went into cwm (version 6.0.5.0) and installed without issue but upon reboot neither of them is showing up as widgets?
The only weather widget displayed in the widgets is the clock (cynagenmood stock one) but if i go to settings/apps/all, i have two weather items there:

Are these correct?

In order for this to work, you should have TouchWiz launcher for cm10-11
You can get it from the following link:

Thank you so much for the reply and the link. I was hoping to stick with the default trebuchet launcher but i really do want your weather widget so i will switch to the Touchwiz one. I have tried most of the weather widgets on Google play and none of the look half as good as yours - its by far the best looking one i have seen! great work!

I tried the launcher but it didn't show up in CM11 anywhere - not in any of the settings (i went through them all), not in apps, nowhere. I installed though CWM as they are all zips.
Maybe that version isn't compatible with CM11 (i am on the nightly version from 26/07/14). I also installed your mods but same as before, there are two weather items listed + weather daemon displayed in apps but all i can do with them is force stop/disable etc.
Sadly I guess i will have to do without these on CM11.

i'm sorry,
first you neet to uninstall the touchwiz launcher then reboot.
you can do this with root explorer or another file manager with root permissions
second try to flash the following touchwiz launcher:
S4_launcher-eHDPI
this zip file contains the launcher and accuweather widgets
afthe flashing the zip file and you checked that the launcher are working only then you can flash my custom accuweather widgets.
Hopefully it will work for you.

I installed the launcher you suggested and Touchwiz was there which i selected and restarted. It seemed to work fine. I installed your widgets and again they didn't show up in the widgets - even though i was using the touchwiz launcher.
I don't think it likes CM11 nightlies (kitkat).....I must admit though i really didn't like the touchwiz interface, i much prefer the default trebuchet launcher in CM11. Even though it has far fewer options, i do prefer the look of it.
I want to thank you for taking the time to help, its very much appreciated. I think i will have to stick with the Sense v2 weather widget i have been using for now.

1. For Changing Lock Screen Images You Need To Change The Framework-res.apk or U can try Other ways!
2. To enable Widgets Root UR Phone And use EXPOSED FRAMEWORK!
3. Use NOVA LAUNCHER!
Sometimes not appearing of widgets is due to installation of app on SD card.
try moving the app in internal storage.
[ONLY FOR OREO DEVICES] First Of All Download Both Apps From Link And Install As a normal App
And The Go to Seeting/Apps/ Default Apps/Homescreen
And then choice Touchwiz Home..:good:
And enjoy:silly::good:
Do modification as you like with this mod touchwiz home.
Bugs:
In landscape mode the apps text wont come and the widgets wont resize properly.

If you have a touchwiz Oreo rom then yes.
If you have a custom/aosp rom then you won't even have touchwiz home never mind the mod
