[APP] DSP Manager for GS3

DSP Manager is the sound processing app from the Cyanogen Mod Team(thanks).You can customize the equalizer manually or select from a bunch of preset options.
Requirements :
Rooted GS3
Custom recovery
Installation :
Enter recovery
Make a backup just in case
Install zip from sd card
Choose zip from sd card
Select DSPManager.... Zip
Reboot
Enjoy!!

Attached you will find the apk in a zip file that will install as a system app. I used this on the One X, can't remember who created it, sorry. Tried it on the GS3 and it's seems to be working perfectly.
Remember that I grabbed this from the One X threads, so don't freak out when the install proccess says something about One X

Yes you need to be rooted and have a custom recovery installed like CWM.
Shouldn't interfere with poweramp

Have you tested it?????
I had tried it once (not this buy my own port) and it didn't work
EDIT : OK tested it... And it works!!!!!!

I'm using it right now streaming over bluetooth. Remember to enable it in Sound/ Music Effects

Didn't find the need to... Just flashed it and it worked perfectly after the reboot.

hey guys iam verry happy with this DSP.Its the best DSP plugin what ever i used in my whole smartphone world and i am started by win mobile ^^
The sound is verry verry fantastic !Deep and smouth bass booster.Its so good when you listening old Alben without good dynamik, like a-ha or depeche mode.
The Treble was absolut clear an no aggressiv.
But for all power amp useres, make shure that you dont have "direct control" activate.so the DSP doesnt work !You can find it in settings-audio engine-advanced tweaks.

I changed the binary script so it says For Samsung Galaxy S3 instead of the HTC one X crap, for those that care

You can delete it from system /app using root explorer or a root level file browser

If you go to Settings, then General, you can set the Access mode to Root Access mode or Prompt User mode... both of those will allow you to browse the root directory.

I think that, as a basic file manager, it does a really nice job and looks good. I personally prefer Solid Explorer, especially the dual panes and drag/drop ability, but to each his own.

Goodevening partners!! I erased from my ace2 live wallpaper app/drivers and now I need 'em back.
Could anyone tell me or guide me where can I get 'em?!

Download attached .rar. It contains "LiveWallpapers.apk" and "LiveWallpapersPicker.apk" from Kyrillos ROM v5. (I assume you deleted them with TitaniumBackup or something like that) Put them into system/app oder try to install it with a file manager. Im not sure if you need to be rooted.

is there any way to install w8 player that we get in may coustom roms such as zelly sandwhich and others in the stock ICS 4.0.4 for xperia arc s fw .587 ??
Also have aeonworld's infinite view and small apps would be a bonus if possible

If this rom is .587 based then yes just extract this app from the rom.

could you tell me what permissions to be given ??
i have unzipped the rom file and found 2 apk's for music player..but when i try to install them through root explorer they wont install..and i have moved them to system>app and given them permissions vvv-v---- was this correct ?
when i reboot my phone i dont see that player !!

Set rwrr or something like that just look for permissions of other apps in this folder and set the same.

I did do it...i replaced SemcMusic.apk and other files with my original files...set permissions as exactly wat the original was using...but now this wont get installed and iam left out with no players

Daft question but did you back them up?Also do you have a nandroid backup of your rom you can restore from there

all iam concerned is about the fact that when i replace the walkman player with proper permissions in system>app folder with my original player then why doesnt it work ?
i am able to install the widget, SemcMusicVisualizer.apk but it fails to install SemcMusic.apk !!
why does this happen ?? any thoughts on that ?

Your issue is weird I remember having a walkman app on my stock .587 arc s but its long gone now. Maybe try to clean app data in settings and cache + dalvik cache in recovery.

Also did you try the mod pypcier posted above it looks really good think I might use it myself Also i noticed a few extra files in that mod and it was a zip file to flash in cwm maybe try to install that way?

Sorry i had to logout...thanks buddy...that worked...i also replaced some others like conversations.apk...that also worked like a charm
so anyone can tel me how to get those contacts and infinite view
actually u may ask why dont u install that zellycream itself noob !!
but i hate that launcher, it takes up too much ram and also m comfortable with ICS rather than that...so iam trying to port as many features as possible and as iam not a themer or a mob builder i dont know all that stuff...so all iam trying to do is replace them or CWM or flash them in a normal noob way...so if anyone is interested in making this possible please help me out

I'm using CM10 with Fusion kernel and its the best option right now for everything (my personal opinion). Its almost as good as stock GB for gaming, its stable (almost), looks so much better than Sony's software. I love it. I'm planning to flash back to stock when it gets hot outside for a camera but after holidays I'm going back to Cyanogen <3

I'm using ES File Explorer. Shall I try something different?

Ok. Same as me. Slide left screen for setting. Choose root explorer,grant su.. Choose again root explorer and select mount read/write.. tick rw for all and try mod again.. wainting your feedback.

Go to setting, power saving and untick battery icon.

Hello,
It didn't work. My phone stopped working, and I wasn't even able to reboot the device. I was getting the message 'Unfortunately, systemUI has stopped working' I had to reinstall my rom again. Relived everything's back to normal again.
It could be that my phone is the Exnoys variant?
