This is my first rom release so go easy on me. This Rom is built straight from Cyanogenmod's repo's, I haven't done any cherry picking yet. I will try to update regularly maybe nightly until the official nightly's start being built. I have been running these builds as a daily driver for over a week now and I haven't noticed any bad bug's.
Credits and thank's go to:
Cyanogenmod for providing all the great work the dev's do for us
Samsung for our decent piece of hardware
google with out them none of this would be possible for us
Paranoid Android for the Gapps
And thank's to all on xda who have helped me learn everything I know about android

Thank you very much for continuing CM 11. I haven't tested any of the bugs that were in Jermaine's build. I think the one reported was that the Mute function wasn't working.

I didn't know of the mute bug, I'll check it out on my build and see if it's there.
update: Seem's like the problem is present in my build too. I will add it to the bug list. Thank's for the tip.
So no bugs what so ever besides the mute? are you using stock kernel?

Is the aosp keyboard still draining battery or is that solved? And sliding gesture on the keyboard isn't usable. Don't know if anyone noticed.

Sliding gesture is working for me and I haven't had a issue with the keyboard draining the battery.
I have been charging it for a while but I ran it all day on the battery played a few games and streamed some music.

I've been using the keyboard that built with it and I haven't had any issues. But it did update from the play store on a build I had about a week ago.
Did I say thank you yet? Well I'm now. Thanks for another build on 4.4. Will load tomorrow morning and try it as my D.D

I hope it works well for you, Its been working great as my DD for a week or so now. After being on KitKat I just can't go back to touchwiz. And the ART just makes it seem way smoother when opening apps.
ill give it a go in just a bit! going back to 4.4 after i messed up hahaha
yes im on 4.3 right now. Ill give it a go in a bit and let it settle down!! Will Update tomorrow!
FFC work? Battery drain is from having Google Now to the left home screen, is that present? It keeps the phone awake.
Guess I don't have to worry about building it now, don't mind passing along the torch...

Hmm, did you do a full wipe? Did you download the latest Pa gapps i think the latest version is 11-26.
You can try re flashing it, but after you wipe data and cache go to mounts and storage and format system. Then re flash.

lol no one wants T-Mob ROMs i'm seeing. they're taking their sweet time with updating our firmware.
3 different Google Play Edition builds have come out and countless other int builds, not to mention other carriers have already updated their stock TW ROMs for apps2sd support.
don't mind me, just dropping in :silly:

For some reason, this isn't booting up on my phone. Can anyone help me? I wiped my data twice, wiped cache twice, and wiped dalvik twice... Flashed this rom and now it's just boot looping on the Google logo for about 15 to 20 minutes now.
Ideas?

Darndest thing. I didn't get that at all. And I have on a bunch of ROMs. Hm.
Cameras like any other ROM but it works good as carbon doesn't charge as fast tho but battery life is incredible ounce it is charged and tether works perfect and j don't loose data during calling which is dope no swipe to power on like on spleefs carbon build but incredible also it runs nova launcher slim bean is also good

APN Fix worked for me. Anyone tried this with NH kernel yet? I was hoping to get eco mode running with liquidsmooth...had that with Spleefs unofficial 4.2 build and it was amazing.
edit: also haven't tried GPS yet. Will do that and report back on my ride home.
I've been running this since yesterday and it’s amazing, smooth, no issues so far, everything works. I think I'm gonna keep it for a while.
My first run with liquid . I have had absolutely no problems on this ROM..

That G2 modded E988 ROM. I have E980 tho. Flashed it normally because it worked on BS Harmony. Should I do something differently?
I always flash back to bond stock before flashing any CM or AOSP ROMs. And I have never had any problems.....
Here are the steps I take...
...Flash back to stock...
...wipe Cache...
...wipe Dalvik...
...wipe data factory reset...
And in "mounts and storage" I format
...data/cache/system...
Then flash ROM and proper GApps...

Might be a little over kill but I'm a little OCD and better safe then sorry......

It is just not happening for me man. Tried everything! Still getting that error. This time it says error in /data/media/Download/Liquid-JB...
and then it aborts. I am downloading stock ROM now to see if it'll work. Idk why it's doing this since I've flashed BS Harmony without an issue, calls were messed up but the installation was fine.

BUGS
Camera -- Doesn't function, yet. I tried installing Focal and no go.
Capacitive Lights -- Don't light up, buttons still function as expected.
External SD -- Known issue with 4.4 builds, right now. @madmack has submitted a fix upstream.
GPS (I didn't realize it was an issue until Tuesday) has been sorted out.
Not really a bug, but worth mentioning, data connection takes a little bit to start up but it will start. LTE is functional once you switch from 3G to LTE in the settings.
Nice, will give it a try and report back.

Working great. Snapier than any other 4.4 rom i've tried. Confirmed broken camera (apps are unable to connect to camera), broken microsd and capacitive buttons have no light. No other issues found. Good job.
Works like a charm. Been hoping to see Omni on our beloved OGP. Can't wait to see the multiwindow feature working on this bad boy. Great job, feuss!

Everything looking good. I flashed a different camera and can take pics but no video. Everything else working great! Very nice work, glad to see some more quality ROMs for this beast. Thanks again!

OP Updated
New build fixes the SD Card Issue and GPS. Still working on Camera and Capacitive lights. After those are sorted out I'll look into adding the extra Omni goodies.
EDIT:
OP updated again with a capacitive light fix thanks to @tdm
Amazing ROM installed few camera apps but not work
Thanks for this!!!!!

4.4.2 + Camera = win. I hate CM11. Can't believe I'm actually using it.

Keep up the good work mrfeuss. It's a shame other developers aren't pooling together to get this project to it's maximum for our device. I can't wait for it to be complete!

If you go to @jumoog's Omni post he has a link to a flashable .zip of SuperUser. I'll try to post the link when I'm on my computer.

One word: OmniROM!
As this is a young ROM, expect the possibility of changes or bugs. (As with any kitkat ROM right now) Personally, it runs great for me.
DISCLAMER
Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and CANNOT BLAME ME for causing harm to your device.
Credits to CyanogenMod for the device trees, and SlimROM for some stuff from them that I am currently using. Thanks a ton to GideonX for helping me out, specifically with the kernel stuff in my custom builds, and also for giving me space on his server to host the upcoming builds.
And of course, credits to Omni for this great ROM/project!
Downloads: Alright everyone, GideonX will be taking care of the regular omni builds now as it only takes one build to support all the d2's. I may consider putting up my personal builds soon, but for the time being, you're going to need to flash GideonX's latest build and you should get delta updates from him from then on. Enjoy!! All instructions are on his thread.
D2LTE should work fine now.

To be honest, I don't. I'm just doing this because I like omni and this whole project has been a huge learning experience and continues to be one. And if I wanted to be a maintainer, I wouldn't consider it until I implement this whole thing in a better way. (Instead of having to pick stuff from slim and whatnot) There's just so much to test!
Downloading Now and will report back in a bit.
Works great although I only have WiFi on this phone it is my rooted test phone. Can not address phone calling or phone data.
Wifi works and camera and video work with great details. No focus issues as with some others.

Do you think the ROM runs smoothly? I think the ROM is ridiculously smooth.
On a side note, right now, I'm working on a rebuild without using as much slim stuff.. If this build goes well, I'll have to redo my instructions on my github for building omni
ROM is running super smooth only thing I've noticed so far is that playing video on Netflix, device reboots.

Rom is running smooth and I'm just playing around with everything to see how it all settles. Nothing to settle more like how all the settings work.

Does it happen every time? Sorry I don't use netflix so I can't reproduce the issue myself, but something I'm doing might fix that though.
OK I have never had to install Superuser and I did but when trying to install Xposed I get su uid not allowed to su? Any ideas?

Sweet! Yeah inconsistencies like that seem to happen sometimes In the past, I've noticed that I have like one random reboot while screen recording but then it doesn't happen again when I screen record.

Two things:
1. are you using ART?
2. Try flashing the ROM and the SuperSU zip again.
Oh wait does any root app work or is it just xposed not working?
Not using ART and Xposed is only root app I have on this phone. I will try another root app to see if it works and reply in a bit.

5 hours running like a champ. On the stock kernel, the phone got noticeably hotter. I switched to BMS kernel & everything is cool now.

I'm not sure if frandom heats up the phone it's the only actual kernel/init.d script tweak I've done so far.
No worries. Now I'll just sit back and wait for the new goodies you have in store.... Maybe going add multi window back in??:what:

Su works fine for me. I'm not sure what the issue is for you.. Did you flash SuperSU right after flashing the ROM?
