It supports a SanDisk Extreme 64GB if that's any help.
I bought my SanDisk extreme when there was no differentiation between 80/45MB write, but is does provide ~27MB/sec write which can't be sniffed at.
I also have an external USB/MicroSD card reader which can be connected to the XPERIA C1905.
It also provides for one additional Micro SD card or USB flash drive.
This boosted my storage up to 128GB with a SanDisk Extreme 64GB and a SanDisk Ultra 64GB all seen as local access.

I have the Sandisk which is fine for me. Still don't understand that my old Nokia N97 already had 32gb whereas the superduper quadcore hype devices of today are still stuck at 16gb internal memory. These should have been at 64gb stock. Ah well...

I have a sandisk one as well (class 10 sdxc). It's rated at about 30mbps vs the normal 10mbps. Works great so far.

Try to find ones that labeled UHS-1 (or UHS-I). If you want use torrents or others extremely high IO operations buy only ones with >40MB read/write specification (actual speed will be lower), otherwise stick with those with >20MB read/write.
ADATA has UHS-1 series 45MB Read/Write
SanDisk has UHS-1 "Mobile Ultra" 20MB Read/Write and UHS-1 "Extreme" 90MB Read/Write
List of course is incomplete, and all of UHS-1 labeled card also have Class10 label (because there is no higher Class)
Other that SanDisk "Mobile Ultra" will be expensive at 64GB and hard to find..
I've read somewhere Samsung micro SD 64gb is slightly faster than Sandisk one by a few mb/s transfer speed.
Ty for your answers peep.

I recently bought a 'SanDisk microSDXC Ultra Class 10 64 GB' and am very happy with it. I even managed to watch a 1080p movie with lossless DTS sound with it recently without even the slightest problem.
I also went with the Sandisk 64gb one, I formatted it in exfat with windows 7 and its been great for movies.
Great! Do u guys have an idea where i can get 1

Go for sand disk ultra 64gb class 10 memory cards.. The speed u can get better than any quad core mediatek processor... It will not increase the cpu and ram speed. Sd cards will only help to increase I/O performance of phone which is good advantage for games and hd videos..

That depends upon the good flagship company.. Even I also used class 4 sand disk sd card almost 2 years.. . It never lagged.. But it is only limited to viewing hd videos.. For hd games class 10 SD card is better.. That's y I bought 32 GB class 10 card

lagging while playing HD videos from memory card ...?
it depends on the read speed of the card and also the video bitrate.
i tried playing 55000 bitrate video file ( dslr raw video .mov extension) on my grand and it played flawlessly

Yes my friend. Phone has a capacity of 1080 resolution video in 30 fps.. It will play smooth if video in the phone memory.. If you save the same video in class 2 memory card.. Because of reading speed it lags sometimes .. Then even dslr video will stuck if it saved in sd card.. A high processing power and rendering speed phone doesn't mean that it will work good.. Reading speed is also more important in this case... If video cannot read properly what is the use of this cpu and graphics.. A better sd card gives good advantage..

I brought a class 10, 32gb samsung card online. Its pretty fast.
I choose samsung because I wasn't sure of compatibility of other brand with my note 2 and it have got 10 years warranty. With other brand you will get only 2 to 5 years warranty. Also I got a good deal from infibeam.com magic box.

Hmmmm sounds good to my ears
My girlfriend has the same issue, I will give her my samsung card and she can try if it is realy lies at the brand only.
Guys it is SANDISK and not SCANDISK.
Next always buy card of class 10. Most of the people do not know about it. Class 10 cards will only give you speed.
I am using Class 10 Sandisk 16GB and never faced issues.
Note Class 10 cards are costly rather than Class 4 cards which is easily available.
My Tab is rooted, busybox an xposed mods, downloads
2SD and KK full sd acces running.
Problem I have is Titainum bu won't write to ext sd, only my files will.
How can I fix this?

I'm using the 32gb version of this card and it doesn't feel like it's achieving full speed when transferring files from and too the internal memory. I haven't measured the speed, but I'm sure it's not getting anywhere near 45mbps write speeds.

So do you feel the SanDisk Ultra 32GB MicroSDHC Class 10 UHS Memory Card Speed Up To 30MB/s With Adapter,*would be ample for this device? It would save me dollars if the extreme isn't getting its money's worth..

Also, a bit related, how good are Samsung branded SD cards?

64GB is just fine, if it works withouth hiccups.
Just wondering... what happened to your card? Did your data get corrupted or was a physical flaw?
