[request] note 3 stock theme help - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I was wondering if anyone knew of where to find stock unthemed zip for note 3. I'm on darthstalker rom but really prefer the unthemed look. Much appreciated!

Download the stock rom and extract it, then take the system UI APK from the stock rom and install it on your phone. You can also install the sec4launcher APK from the stock rom if you don't like the super fast scrolling/wall paper scrolling of the darth rom.
I use a stock rom that I have mashed all the options from every rom together. Stock rom with jedi System UI apk/sec4 launcher, darth wallpaper + mms and a host of other apks that I just add so it makes the rom to my liking. I call it The MASH and its under 900mb so its pretty darn light for a TW rom.

nice thanks alot :good: so i just extract the apk and install it like i would any other regular apk? just want to be sure and clear!

Yes sir!
Sent from my SM-N900T using xda app-developers app

so i tried to install the apk from a stock deodexed rom but igave me an error message, so i used root browser to replace the darthstalker system UI with the stock one, but there are still bits left of the old system UI. Im not sure where to go or how to change. Any help would be appreciated.

Basically some toggles in settings, download icon in status bar and etc are still in my rom.

Nope. You're stuck and will have to learn to really really like the stock theme.
Just kidding... If you have a look around, you posted this in the Themes section. So, as long as you're rooted there are tons of options to choose from. Take a look at Konikub's many themes, or other like Riptide's, etc....
Have Fun!
Thanks! Ill take a look!

You have to be on a deodexed rom in order to use any theme.

[Q] adding stock soft to BNC-GIO-v1.0-R2

I just discovered BNC-GIO-v1.0-R2 rom and it looks quite promising. But most of stock apps were trimmed out. I wanted to put in again Memo but was not able to do it by copying it's apk to system/apps with root explorer and giving the apk all permissions. Does anyone know if there's another way to install stock apps on this rom?
cheers

It won't work unless it has the Samsung TouchWiz Framework like all stock ROMs have. I'm not sure what Delanoister based his rom off of, but I believe it's based off of CM7 and not the official 2.3.6 firmware. I think that BNC-GIO-R1 is based off of the official 2.3.6 firmware, so you can try that and the stock apps should work...

odexed? deodexed?

can anyone explaine what is deodexed rom and odexed rom?
is rooted stock rom odexed rom? if not, does it mean i can use multiscreen apps mod?
going to get my note 2 tmr any help will be appreciate
This gets asked alot..stock rom (rooted or not) is odexed custom roms are deodexed. And multi apps screen mod already comes built in the phone..
what i mean is adding a third party apps for multiscreen
Deodexing is a process done by custom rom developers to make their Roms more customizable. If you're using a stock rom, then it is odexed. If you're using a custom rom, then 99% it is deodexed.
For easier theming.
Like the 15 toggle switches.
Don't think you can fit that in the stock odexed rom.

[Q] Stock Touchwiz Rom with mods??

I'm currently running stock deodexed rom with some morphology mods. I've been looking for a stock touchwiz rom with camera, battery, clock, etc..., mods without the framework themed. I've tried sacs, freegs3, people's, and blazers. I love all the mods they have but they all have elements themed. Anybody know of a rom like I've described?

The People's Rom Fat Ass Edition gives you all that, plus, I also uploaded a stock look framework/icons additional zip, check the bottom portion of the OP. With that, you will have all the good stuff plus stock looks.

240dpi mod for android 412

Looking for a 240dpi mod, im running wanamlite 3.9 - is there one? Cant find it. Or a mg1 rom with it bundled?
I dont want 4.3 right now despite finding options for that version.
A flashable mod would be ideal that includes the modded apps that are needed like camera and keyboard etc but any tips would be appreciated
