You can follow the steps outlined in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302660, that's how I always bring mine to stock (I've done it several times).
Erik
I don't seem to understand it very well but all I need is a working serial number for this version of Lg flash tools and then I'm good to go

But good to have a video for neophytes like me.
Definitely, especially since the script was in Korean.

bin4rys works on Sprint VS, Koren method failed on Sprint VS...
caution with the Koren version, I bricked my process (so to speak) with the Sprint Device. However, the bin4rys version worked fine the second try from a hard reset.

I actually had no problems using the Korean version on my Sprint LG OG, I even re-wrote the batch file in English, and posted it in the Korean Guide thread. I would say that bin4rys method is actually the original method, and should actually get the credit here, and technically speaking the Korean version (which is actually in Vietnamese), is just a slimmed down version of Bin4ry's exploit, but I can say it does work.

I didn't have any issues either.
I used Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v15 on 3 devices without any issues. All devices were Bell LG_OG E973
I am from Dubai. I recently bought an unlocked at&t optimus g pro e980.
When I am trying to update, I am getting the message 'mobile not registered yet'.
I registered the mobile with LG, USA.
The phone has active a SIM card from local carrier. I do not have AT&T Sim card.
The phone is on 10P versoin.
How to register it?
Any problems if I changed to Cyanogenmod?
Sorry for the many questoins I raised.
Thanks.
10p is the latest update for our att pro. What update are you trying to install?

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to check if there is an update. If there is no update available, then why I got the message that the phone was not registered yet?

You are not the only one. I also have a G Pro but I am on Metro PCS and I get the same message. I think it is because it is not a SIM from AT&T, I may be wrong but I have not found a fix on the AT&T site or the LG site. I HOPE that if/when KitKat come out for G Pro we can install from computer.

I guess you are right, we have to wait for Kit Kat, OR a new option. Thanks.
it happens to me too when i was using Korean f180 with European rom, but on Korean rom i could update just fine.
after searching, i found (only works if you use rom for the phone was made) using the lg rom downloader that uses imei number, you will get registered to LG servers thus you will not get these update errors.
never tried myself, so cant be sure as i always do kdz/tot
When kit Kat comes out I'm sure the tot file will be available in XDA forums. Then you can just flash with lg flash tools.

I'm not sure at 100% but as far as I know flashing is only for Windows.
Currently the tablet is running 6.0.1 and is an LG G pad 3 8.0. I have messaged the kingo root assistance team and they said that there is no way to root unless I would use a custom recovery. I personally have very little clue on rooting so if anyone could show me a method to root my tablet successfully it would be greatfuly appreciated.

Your current software version would be helpful. If you never updated maybe. But if your running the latest version you most likely cannot root.

Check this XDA posting out ... Root ANY LG G4 Variant 100% Success Directives | Root Injection | Less Bricks at:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-100-root-success-directives-root-t3180586
Read the OP carefully - first, you have to be able to rollback to Lollipop. If you can, see if you can find a pre-rooted version of your software, it will save you a lot of time. You can google root LG G4 H810 AT&T for more information, paying particular attention to XDA posts.
Good luck

Remember if OP is running latest firmware they cannot downgrade.. that model has antirollback.

Agreed ... but ... he can Google the dial pad code for his hidden menu for his phone and open SVC - I gather if it is higher than 1 then he will not be able to roll back. FYI: I did qualify with IF he can roll back ...
In any event, if he uses LGUP-NEW to flash a stock Lollipop image, it should throw throw up an error regarding the anti-rollback version roll back.
