While impatiently waiting for my Poetic Slimline case to arrive I decided to go and pick up the Belkin Chambray case. Fry's has it for $39.99 instead of $44.99. It's pricey, but I like it better than the Origami case which I looked at while at Best Buy. It's not nearly as heavy as the Origami case.
Fit and finish is excellent. It doesn't have the wake/sleep feature the Poetic Slimline case and the Origami case has though. That may be a deal breaker for some.
At 8 ounces, it does add a noticeable amount of weight to the overall package and while I think Belkin made the case as slim as possible while keeping quality/durability high, the case does add a noticeably amount of thickness as well. That's not to say that I think the Slimline will be much thinner if at all. The HDX is just a ridiculously thin device without a case.
I'll wait until my Slimline case arrives to decide to keep it or not. I love the look of the case.

Thanks for sharing. This case looks really nice. And seem to provide pretty good protection. I just ordered my HDX 8.9 thru Amazon today...ill be ordering this case case as well. Your review was of great help.
That does look really nice and professional. Might have to grab one as well.
Ordered the 8.9 HDX today with Amazon's new deal of sorts. I have to agree with the looks on this case, it's very appealing. The wake to lock thingie will be missed, but it's really not to inconvenient to press the power button. Will have to check this case out next time I'm in a store. Thanks for the great pictures of it.

Hey guys just picked this case up on Saturday. Got it from the mall. Pretty sure this brand is the kind that you see at all those little mall kiosks that sell cell phone accessories. Anyways, the case is pretty much perfect. It is slim and painted matte black. The matte color lets you grip the phone way better than the stock gloss backing.
I had the original T-Mobile silicon case and I couldn't stand the bulk and how it would not slide into my pocket. This case is opposite in every way to that case. Slim and not sticky.
All of the buttons and the micro slider are VERY easy to access. No trouble what-so-ever.
I have the link posted to the manufacturer, but I don't see the exact case I have listed. Weird. The woman in the mall also had crystal clear and a black smokey version.
Hope this helps some of you guys who are waiting for the SGP. I couldn't wait any longer. I paid 20 for this case. I totally got scammed, they go for like 10 bucks on the net, but I couldn't wait.

i have the same case i got mine from cellaris
I didn't like this case because after taking it on/off a few times, the right side where the power button is started to creak whenever i pressed on it. I guess its not a big deal considering that its les than $10 on eBay, but it was kind of annoying for me.
Oops, thought this was different case till i looked closer. Looks decent but not a fan of the split case design. Tend to wear out quickly.
Didn't really see anyone get something like this, so I ordered it and I'll review it once it gets here.

Leather case
I also ordered this armband, so i'll review that too.
Armband
Thanks for the effort here, and the expense put into it. I havent seen the arm band before - I have seen the leather cases, and have wondered how they fit and how well they protect. Looking forward to your reviews.... post up some pics too?
I have purchased 3 or leather holsters from ebay for my Atrix.
Still haven't found anything I liked.
Got the leather case (1st one) depicted today. It is a good case for being under $10, but I was disappointed when I overlooked the fact that it doesn't have a cut out for the power button / fingerprint scanner! I just cut one with an craft knife, but would not recommend the case because of that. Still waiting on the second one. (Should upload pictures soon)
The arm band looks interesting. Will the phone fit in it with case on like the otterbox commuter?

Kinda figured there wouldn't be a cutout for the power button/fingerprint reader based on the pictures of it. Though, i kinda find it funny that i can't seem to click on the different pictures on their page to get a better view. Unless it's just an issue with Chrome.
I'm actually quite a fan of Pure.Gear's leather snap-on case. At first i wasn't sure about it... but after using it... it's quite nice. slippery enough to slide into your pocket... yet enough grip that when holding it, it doesn't feel like it's going to slide out of your hand. fair bit thicker than the other snap-on cases made by Pure.Gear...
I just received my Waterfield Designs Slip Case for the Nexus 7. It's an incredible slip case of very high quality. I am a minimalist when it comes to cases, and so far I have been dissatisfied with the Moko Slim-Fit & Poetic Slimline cases I have received. The Moko is just too large, and it drives me nuts that it doesn't sit flat when opened. The Poetic feels cheaply made, and I don't like how difficult it is for me to remove it from the case. I also don't like the feel of the fake leather of the Poetic case.
I decided to try out a slip case, and found the Waterfield Slip Case. It's definitely more expensive than the other cases I've tried, but it is so pleasant to hold and use. The outside of the case is so soft to the touch, but extremely durable. The inside is extremely soft, and really does clean the screen when you remove it. The tablet fits very snug in it, but just snug enough so that when you hold it upside-down and shake it there is no fear that it will fall out.
Here are a few pictures I took, along with the video on their website discussing the slip case. I would highly recommend this at $27.
If you have any questions or would like some additional pictures, please let me know.

I recommend it!
I've been thinking about buying one of these. Don't mind the higher price considering they are made in San Francisco!
Would you mind measuring the thickness of the case when your nexus 7 is inside?

It's a little tricky to measure the thickness, since the case is puffy. If I squeeze it flat (Sort of like it would be in my pocket), it's just under 5/8". If I let it sit normally on my desk, it's just over 7/8".
That's exactly what I needed, thanks!
I just purchased this case from ebay for a very decent price with free shipping. Right now it is $12.49 on ebay which is more than 1/2 the price anywhere else I could find, keywords being "I could find"! From the reviews I have seen on youtube and read, says this is a nice case. Some reviews say it is a little bulky and the volume buttons are a bit hard to depress but still a decent case and kickstand is sturdy. Also, it lays flat, which is a plus for some and all ports are accesible. I just ordered one and have not received it yet, once I receive the case I will post pictures and validity of what seems to be a great deal.
Sharing is Caring!

This is also the link to ebay if someone missed link in OP.
Nice written review.
Video:
Just recieved case will have pictures soon.
Quick overview of case:
It is a little thick compared to other slim cases but is not bulky and provides good protection. Great design for the kick stand for a not too thick case.

The is a very nice case and I am very satisfied.
Pros:
All ports are precisely cut out including both mics.
Well constructed and provides very good protection.
Great design for a kick stand and it is solidly built.
Raised edge in the front so you can lay face down without the screen touching the surface.
Screen protector friendly, lay flat construction and made of TPU except the kick stand area.
Cons:
A little large for some people taste but not bulky.
Case has a satin finish and is a little slippery but not too bad.
I am very please with this case! Even got it at a great price!

Hello,
I was picked to do a review of the Roocase Dual View Case. I've had it almost two weeks and here are my initial impressions.
Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the packaging but it came well packaged and in perfect condition. Getting the tablet into the case was easy and it feels very well protected. The texture is a nice leather feel and the inside is a soft fiber.

The case also came with a stylus that also works as a pen. Works nice though I haven't really felt a need for a stylus.
The case closes easily via the magnet and triggers the screen on and off.
You can put the tablet in a landscape stand easily.
It does sit pretty well in this position and is a snap.
To put it in portrait but standing you need to pull the velcro apart and reattach it sideways with the outer part of the case.

This didn't balance too well and fell over a couple times. I probably just didn't have the right technique. Not really a position I ever use anyway.
The case does add more thickness than I'd like so it is hard to hold one handed for me when I want to read.

It also can be a bit of a challenge to touch the edges of the screens (especially in landscape when trying to touch the bottom) due to the case wrapping around the front a bit.
All in all I do like the case though it's bulkier than the MoKo Slim Fit case I have been using. It offers more protection and is easier to stand up then my other case which you need to pop out one side of the tablet to get it to stand.
In the two weeks I've had this case it's worked very well my tablet seems very protected. Case looks and feels like new yet and should last forever. For your money it's a great deal!
Thank you for the opportunity to review.
