ROM and ROOT for LG Optimus LTE P936

I have new LG phone . My phone info. as follows:
LG Optimus True HD LTE
LG-P936
Android 2.3.6
Baseband: P936-MDM9200B-V10c-APR-2012-XX
Kernel 2.6.35.11
How to root the phone and flash other ROM like CM9? Thanks

Woundering the same.. ordered mine and i will get it tomorrow (sweden) first thing i want is to root and install cm9 to it! and if someone knows if lte radio works with cm9 in sweden?

Me too.....who can help us?

There's a Super One Click root that works. You just have to be persistent with it. It will fail a few times, but if you keep at it, it will eventually succeed. So far, noone seems to know what the pattern is, it just works.

Has anyone verified the method? I have been trying for a while and it still doesnt work....hope others have better luck

May I know which version for Super One Click can root P936?

Try Super one Click (latest version for the home page)
Always stop at the step 7 after reboot
try more than 5 times

can flash LG Nitro HD Custom ROM?

Try this method:

Extract the rar-file and click "TPSparkyRoot.bat".
After that just follow the instructions on Screen.
(Please note that you have to bring your phone in USB-Debug-Mode!!!)
Let me know if it works out for you guys.

More specific info's please... like what version of ROM are you on right now would maybe be helpful. A simple "dont work" is just the headline. :cyclops:

The only rom that can be rooted is the at&t leaked ics rom.
But with that rom I can only connect to HK's Egde network.
I end up using CM9.

may I know does you means you can use 4g lte in HK with CM9 Rom

Root for Ascend Mate 2?

Is there a way to root the ascend mate 2? Vroot and root genius don't seem to work and this phone is almost perfect except for the lack of root.

Jus check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390491 and see if u can root by any one of these methods....take backup of ur phone b4 doing this as it may make ur phone not bootable.

Unfortunately non of those methods worked for me. Just a bunch of phone reboots and applications temporarily placed on the phone.

You must use RootChecker just to be sure. And if Superuser or SuperSU isn't on your phone, install it. Your phone may be already rooted.

Still shows up as not rooted in rootchecker. I will try the processes again tomorrow but I'm not expecting much of a change.

Tried it yesterday and it didn't work.
Also tried using camera mute to disable the camera shutter and that also doesn't work.

I did as well and headed straight for XDA.

I also was unsuccessful in rooting the mate2. I tried towelroot, vroot and framaroot to no avail

None of the P6 methods worked just to confirm. If only we could get a hold of an official OTA and root somehow that way. The stock rom for the US version isnt anywhere online, theres only the other versions. Including a 1080p version of the phone from im guessing Korea maybe which is weird.

After reading the google translate version of the page, I would not try this as it seems that this is for a different variant of this phone:

Hi guys, I have a Chinese g3 dual sim (d857) and the software information shows a build number KVT49L.D85710a
Can I use the root tools provided around the forum or is there no way for me to root it since I can get any way for Google play to work

Bump please I already checked root tools available such as purple and my model wasn't listen anywhere wanting to know if there's hope

Download vroot its a chinese rooting software , it does root almost every device that i know of .

Towelroot..works on many devices. Won't hurt to try. Just Google it. Open it and hit button. Its apk. Its fast. If your phone doesn't reboot automatically it worked. Then reboot and check. Let me know.

Stump won't root your G3? I thought it definitely rooted all our G3s. Does it just say it's incompatible? I'd go to the Stump thread and ask there, if that's true I'm sure JCase would like to know if he doesn't already.

[Moto X Force] Marshmallow Rollout

Hello community, while googling for information about the release of Marshmallow for the X Force I found the Release Notes for the Update:

I guess they will start rolling it out in Brasil, so I wanted to ask, if anyone has the brazilian version and if anyone has the update yet?
I just got the phone and am really looking forward to Marshmallow, as 5.1.1 really feels like a downgrade coming from 6.0 on my Nexus 5.

As it seems, the Update is rolling out in Europe as of today.
If someone who has rooted his force would be so nice to provide the Update.zip I would be really grateful, as my device still has not got the Update notification and I'm not the patient type
It is stored in the /cache Folder and you can only read that folder with root priviliges.

Well hope i become this Update soon. 5.1.1 is not bad either.

Nice! Didn't expect Moto to get to it so quickly. Hopefully Verizon will be able to turn it around within a couple of months for us Turbo 2 users.

I don't know if it was an error.. but I got it and I its working really good. No bugs at the moment... and I feel that the battery is lasting a little bit when its idle.
I'm finishing uploading the files.. only left the part5.. sorry, my internet sucks.. but I'm doing my best to share it with you all!

Once, I try to install the Brazilian version in the mexican version of the moto maxx and it didn't work.. But you can try it.

Here in Brazil already had experience installing ota India and Australia and worked well. But as the friend reported that tried to install the Brazilian in Mexico cell phone and did not work'll wait a few more days to see if it comes out the version of Brazil. If you install this version of Mexico in a cell with version EU think it should work

I tried to install the mexican version on my european X Force but it failed because of an invalid certificate.

Hi i have a root problem and i have 2 phones LeEco Le Pro 3 eui 5.9.028S.
LeTV LeEco Le Pro 3 X650 is what it say's where i orderd it
All programs say it's not rooted so i can not unroot it with SU/root tools.
But i have a few apps that don't work with it's rooted. and 1 of them i use ALOT.
I need help unrooted and if possible a rom that is clean android so i can change language to Norwegian please. i tried the https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/how-to/how-to-date-leeco-le-pro3-root-twrp-100-t3668918 but as i have above this. it don't seems to work.
I need a working thing please.

there is no root no SuperSU or even TWRP on this phone. Totally Fabric reset phone as i tried that.
The seller in china told me this was not rooted. now i have 2 phones and both have the app tell me not supported on rooted phones. this app is important.
But when i try something like Hide root or something. app apps tells me this is not rooted. i'm so lost.. any way to fix this? 2 phones here.
and it allways asks me to update but the update always fails
