Here is a video to start you off with, of course you don't have the jig so you'll have to put it in Download Mode manually.

Here the second post by bubby tells you how to flash via Odin. You'll have to Download Odin, Samsung drivers, etc.

Now this is the lastest release with
Wi-Fi calling. This is the one to flash via Odin to get latest update.
Let me know if you still can't do it, but do your research before trying it because you can brick your phone otherwise.
It's easier than you think.

Click to collapse
You are right in unzipping it. PDA that .tar.md5 file and "start".
1 rooted 1 not rooted
Just upgraded 2 of them, both worked out great!
Question: After I flashed this, Titanium Backup is telling me it's no longer able to connect to root, or something to that effect. After applying this update, do I have to then re-flash recovery using Odin?
you have to reroot again you lose root after upgrade . flash CWM and flash superuser u good to go

[Q] Odin Woes

ODIN ISSUES: In desperate need of HELP.
I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 2(sch-i605). I found the right root files for my phone and flashed a custom ROM onto it using Odin. Now i want to flash a STOCK ROM back onto my phone but Odin won't recognize any of the files. I know i have all the correct tar files, but when i hit the PDA tab in Odin, and go to the directory where my files are, THEY JUST DON'T SHOW UP!
I've tried downloading different versions of Odin but that still hasn't solved the problem. I've got the correct drivers for my phone so it's not that, and USB debugging is enabled. Can someone PLEEEASE help!

[Q] odin keeps crashing when i import tar.md5 file

I am trying to install the original stock firmware back onto my note 4 sm-n910p. I have downloaded the firmware from sammobile and a few other sources but when i import the tar.md5 file into any version of odin. Odin crashes. I have tried doing this on 3 other computers but still the same results. Is anyone else having this issue? I need help. Please and thank you

Wanted Full Flash Stock files (pda, pit, csc etc)

Every link I find is for a hotfile link and dead.
I need a UK (BTU) 16gb rom please. Stuck in bootloader. Odin recognises phone but Kies does not. I managed to install the DN4 rom ok but in TWRP, I did a factory reset and most of my partitions are 0 kb. Does not recognise my SD card. Nothing works.
So I want to flash stock pda and pit files via odin.
Any link to stock rom files that is not a zip as odin does not flash zip is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Firmware only file?

Can anyone make and post a firmware only Odin flashable file?
Or maybe link me a tutorial that I can try and make one myself?
Flashfire can flash the new firmware from Sammobile but need to flash the bootloader etc from Odin to get it to boot.
Can anyone help me with this? Please...
Has anyone tried this yet? I don't have time to setup a new Linux install or I would. This might work. At least it used to.
