I was contacted to try this product out. I will say initially I was skeptical. But after using it for a few days it really is perfect for what its intended use is. It is basically a spot charger. You need a quick boost just attach it and let it charge. It comes with a nice lightweight cord. The product itself is very lightweight and comes with a clip. It can easily fit in a pocket or purse for the ladies. The quality is excellent. The flashlight is very nice, with 3 modes Hi or low beam and also an emergency type strobe setting. The flashlight is very bright.
I have used it everyday for the last week. The first use it charged my phone from 15% to 95% within an hour. It completely exhausted it to empty. After testing it in different circumstances I have found it is best to use for about a half hour at a time. Just give the phone a quick charge. That should get you about a 30-50% increase based on my testing. Then just use it as needed. It charges back up to full in about an hour. It is also very durable. The build quality is excellent. It also comes in 4 different colors.
So in my opinion if you use it for a quick charge as needed, it is perfect. If you need something more constant, than this is not for you. I feel it is the perfect size and has the speed charge for quick uses throughout the day. If you want something useful for your phone, then this is really for you. The flashlight comes in handy also.

Hey guys just picked up one of these from Tmobile store though I take some pics for everyone and let them see what it looks like. So far its pretty good this morning I forgot to charge my phone and I just swapped the battery and I'm off. Didn't need to bring a charger with me.
Its also the same battery as the one that came with the phone so battery life would be expected the same. One thing I like is the charger...I don't have to charge the battery in the phone but with an external charger.
Feel free to ask me questions about the product.
Price: $49.99 @ Tmobile retail store, online it ranges from $34-$45. I had a buddy that works for Tmobile and paid $37.50 they get %15 off. Plus they got the buy 2 get 1 free.
Pics below...

How does it work, does the light turn green after the battery is finished charging? Doesn't look like it has the ability to charge the phone at the same.

I'm willing to bet you'll see longer battery life via this charger compared to charging thru the phone.

Opened up one of these batteries you can find on ebay and Amazon for anywhere between 3 to 6 pounds. I can't remember the exact weight but it was lighter than my stock battery by 15-25%. It's performance was worse than stock by quite a long way (I can usually last 2 days but even after running this battery a couple cycles, I still couldn't last a day on it 0800-1500).
Sticker.

Strange writing. Chaonian, Samsung I9000 and 983. Strange because I9000 is the code for the Samsung Galaxy S.
Overall, this is an all-right battery if you are going to pay only a couple pounds for an emergency battery to keep in a car or wallet (or other hostile environment where you don't care about the health of the battery). It is safe and wont explode.
If you want a proper replacement, go for an Anker (usually only £10) or some of the gold batteries.
Gold battery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1575001
Anker: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525175
I have i9000 one for captivate and though it's not actually 2430mah it's at least 1800mah. Maybe 2000mah, but probably not. So for $8, few day shipping, and external charger it was definitely nice

Sorry, I can't post in the ROM thread yet. Just wondering if I need to calibrate the battery every time I pull the battery. I ask because I use a wall charger for my batteries.
I have three that I rotate so I always have a fresh one with me. I feel a lot better letting the wall charger do the work so its one less thing the EVO has to do. No wear and tear on the port too.
If anyone has any idea I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Che
No, you just need to calibrate the battery each time you flash the rom; pulling the battery is fine.
Thanks. Wasn't sure if it needed to be done for each battery every time since they are different ages and have limited lifespans.
I've been doing it every time and have been getting amazing battery life. Could be the new ROM too.

I use to calibrate the battery as well until I read heard about by wiping it doesn't do anything... Correct me if I'm wrong.. just throwing that out there..

To be honest, I'm not 100% on what exactly happens during battery calibration.
I thought it was something done to the phone; how it saw the limits of the battery; and not something done to the battery it self.
Any one who knows a little more about it feel free to correct me.

After one of my zerolemon 7000mAh batteries went through the wash, and fried the electronics (cells still worked fine), I decided to combine them and make a 6 cell, 14000mAh battery. I then saw this project, and decided to beat the storage capacity too. I've wired up some 2A usb ports directly into the battery (these). They can be used for everything from charging another phone or tablet to powering a usb hub or hard drive (the end goal).

Here's the battery, with the phone
in the picture to show size.
It can power hubs...
Charge my mom's phone (15 times over)...
And technically even charge itself.
PS:This is my first post, sorry if I'm breaking any posting standards.
In my opinion, the Samsung Galaxy S3 suffers the same battery issues of all other Android smartphones which usually lasts less than a day of performance. Owners can extend its battery life even longer than expected by simply tweaking and using essential tricks on Galaxy S3.Aside from mobile data, watch out for other wireless radios such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC which consumes power and you must turn them off whenever not in use. Whenever there is an available and decent Internet connection via Wi-Fi, use it instead of mobile data to preserve power on your phone. Whenever you are not using any Internet connection or high tasking services, activate the Power Saver from the notifications shade to manage battery life better.
Over the years, Bluetooth speakers became an essential part of my life. I can't imagine going on holidays without having one in my backpack. One of the new devices has caught my attention, so I decided to give it a try. EarFun or earfün (how I löve German letters) has recently released its new speaker Go. Below you can find my impressions after using this device for over a week.
EarFun Go has a pretty standard shape, which fits nicely in my hand. The device has a very short leash, which could be a bit longer to make the grip even more reliable. The device is controlled using five buttons - power, Bluetooth, all-in-one to control the audio and calls, and of course, volume rockers. The all-in-one is a pleasant and efficient way of managing the device, although it takes a while to learn all the combinations.

When it comes to connectivity, battery life, and sound quality, I can't say a bad thing about Go. The device can be connected via Bluetooth or standard mini-jack cable. You can charge it using your phone's USB-C cable. According to the producer, the charging should take ~4 hours. The battery lasts up to 24 hours, but in all honesty, I didn't have a chance to test its efficiency. Sound is clear and relatively loud. Surprisingly, you can play your favorite hits to the fish, as the IPX7 rating allows you to use the device in shallow water for half an hour. I tested it in a bowl, and it worked perfectly (if you listen to the music underwater)
I can easily recommend EarFun Go if you are looking for a relatively cheap and reliable speaker. 8/10.
You can get it for 40 bucks on Amazon.
Never heard of the brand before.
