I would like to remove root so I can upgrade to the Official Jelly Bean release. To do this, do I just flash the stock rom back without root using Odin and than upgrade to Jelly Bean? or can I just OTA update and it will remove root without causing any problems?
Thanks!
just wait within a few days there will be a flashable rooted version of it.

Install Voodoo Root OTA Root Keeper. Then when you are ready for the OTA Update, use Root Keeper to temporary unroot. Apply the OTA Update, then reapply root with Root Keeper.

What this person said. Do temp unroot, OTA, then retore root within Voodoo OTA.
When this comes out is there a way for me to update ota even with having root?
You can update OTA if you have stock recovery. You'd use Root Keeper before performing the update and then use Root Keeper to restore root after the update.
There's a thread here linking to the stock OS rooted, which includes the stock recovery. Use Odin to put that on the phone and you're good to go.
ota root keeper doesn't work with supersu?
i am running my s4 mini on uamh3 prerooted Rom
did anyone try ota rootkeeper and then do the ota update? afterwards trying to delete knox.apk and other stuff?
or does ota rootkeeper not work anymore for this?

I'm rooted with Oden but not running any custom ROMS. Do I need to unroot, install 4.3, then root? If so, how do I unroot? The system update notification is driving me batty and would like to update.
Thanks in advance for your help!
