Sony released the jellybean firmware for Xperia S(SL) and they are planning for the new upgrade very soon to resolve major bugs in the current version. We have a bug thread related to the new .200 firmware. I just thought we could also have a thread about your likes or dislikes on the new features in the current firmware. Or you can suggest new features you need to have on your Xperia phone.. Mention it in the thread, I am just curious to know, I'll add your valuable points below in this thread. Let sony hear what their xperia customers needs..

Actually I seem to be getting more app redraws since updating
another negative is the new keyboard sounds
When phone call ends, the phone doesn't turn off anymore! That's really a good thing for me!

The camera module we have inside our phone doesn't have the ability to do HDR shots. A 3rd party app would do but you have to stabilize the phone from movements in order to have perfect shots.
But the rest you mentioned is a must have.

Yeah I got that, I mean how does one select more than a word now (sentence)?
Phone: Sony Xperia Acro S
in the past when it was brand new,my phone was able to be viewed in landscape mode in the homescreen while it is charging,and I thought that was a cool feature. Note I'm not saying it can't be viewed in ls at all,only in the home screen. But now that is not possible,anyone know what the problem is, and how it can be fixed?
Note the ics home did have auto rotation, unless the phone was charging
Note jelly bean launcher doesent have auto rotation at all
Xperia launchers were never supose to have auto rotation but sometimes did due to bugs or glitches

Well... I can start counting from my own camera in 4.3:
If you launch the application from the camera button or by swiping to the camera, it will open in scene selection(kinda like xperia z superior auto, but even worse), while if you open it by the app drawer, it will launch in the last mode.
The Scene Selection mode disables scenes and exposure settings and it enables taking pictures in bursts(from the front camera, too), however in my experience the pictures aren't better than picking your own settings in manual mode.
The shortcuts aren't customizable anymore(it's mostly a pity for the hdr mode and metering, most other settings are leave and let go)
You can pick 10 scenes for photos and videos(photos didn't have scenes) and also picking a scene disable the white balance and exposure settings. The scenes are in the attachments. (Most of the scenes don't really work, but the documents scene makes the photos real good).
White balance and exposure are the same, finally.
Preview(leaving the photo to show for a period of time): 3 seconds, 5 seconds, unlimited and edit(opens the edit photos app).
D... Different shutter sound(to be clear, the sound when you take a picture)
The new menu(the xperia z1 has this too, not that important)

I am looking for Gestures control app for T2 ultra dual..
I have tried pocket lock & gravity screen but not that useful..
What I am looking for is :
1. Screen lock & unlock ability by hovering or somehow similar
2. Samsung like smart stay when reading or watching screen
3. mute phone when flipped screen face down
4. lock phone when in pocket
5. lock phone when put down on table
6. exclude apps, accidentally locking device during use
7. It must be battery saver
What about Z2 or Z3 Gestures controls??
If possible to install on T2 ultra dual.. it will be awesome :victory:

I can enable it via 3rd party app but it is not comfartable.
Is there any kind of flash?
( the xperia z1 lets you take a picture even when the torch is on)
