I been trying to find a way to change the color of my status bar battery icon to white but nothing has worked. I have tried xposed and changing the color does not work. I'm running wicked v3, it bothers the heck out of me because it does not look good with my theme any help would be much appreciated.

I haven't used UOT Kitchen since my g1/mt4g days but I'm thinking they have support for android 4.3 phones/roms. Try giving that a try, I might also cuz I like to theme some stock roms with colored status bar icons too.
http://uot.dakra.lt/
Edit: Just checked and it looks like latest they support is android 4.2...
Hoping soon they update to at least 4.3

Do u have xposed installer as well?If u do have you installed framework on xposed installer and have wanan checked in modules.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I have Xposed installed, and none of the modules I've tried seem to work for changing the battery icon or its color. The ones I've used are Wanum, Xbattery Themer and Xposed Status Bar Mods. All of the other icons can be changed, but the battery is stubborn.
I'm on the stock ROM with a the Faux123 kernel.
You need to change the battery images in your systemui.apk, wanam can change your battery icon image but it dont let you choose color because it's replacing the battery image with his.

What steps would I have to do to change it to white or applications would I need to use to change the images in systemui.apk ?
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
You need to decompile the systemui.apk and replace the battery images with the ones you like, I think you could just open the apk with 7zip or winrar and drop the battery images you want, not really sure if that still works though, you said you're on wicked right I thought wicked had a white theme

Im on lk8 stock deox now.. b4 update leak I was running your rom but I kinda want to just tweak lil things and keep kinda stock for now so yea. Stock lk8 deox.
Last night I was trying again with apktool and when decompiling systemui, framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk only twframework would install in prompt. I trued from link you supplied and found another on youtube with vid tut. So after tring to decompile the systemUI

In the systemUI folder that pops up in apktool folder there was only smali folder. No manifest no res nothing just smali.. I deleted and retried like 12 times with different rom bases. I even tried yours to just see where edits where made maybe thinking I could make zip but nothing worked. The closest I got was with apk manager. Im dumb though and just literally installed notepad++ now. Wish I had yesterday. My desktop looks like my kids room. Lol

What tint are you talking about? I don't notice it.
There is a tint of your notifications that come in the top left of the screen. I believe it takes away a lot of the good looks of touchwiz roms. When the tint is removed I believe it looks so much better
The correct way to do it is decompile the SystemUI.apk, then in the values folder open the dimens.xml.
Edit line 25 and 26 and change the % to 100.0% on both lines and recompile.

Hey bp. Thanks for the response. Any possible way you can make a zipp that can be flashed on touchwiz roms to eliminate the tint? It would be much appreciated!

Here you go buddy. I removed the SystemUI from the theme, because its the only one that included a resources.arsc which could cause a boot loop.
Everything else is just images.
Flash in recovery.
Thanks a lot!

There are a lot of white and black images in the systemui. But your battery will change and everything else.
I could just replace the images. And remove the battery icons.

Well I dont know what has been done to the .xml's in the resources or the layout. I suppose I could compare them but that's super tedious.
I can move the XML and and resources and it would flash just fine.
If you want, use anything from here. Its all from my S2 ROM. I have Djdarkknight's status bar icons and several inverted apps although he may not have included them.
R.I.P to my Epic Touch ROM
http://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=/
Edit...he missed half of the features it had..Hotspot hack (3g&4g) all inverted apps, odexed and deodexed versions, great had Wallpaper pack, flashable Metamorph battery icons, ripple and AOSP lock options, etc. I just don't know this phone (or AT&T) well enough to port it yet

Believe me, if I had the time and knew my Note 2 a little better I would be on the project already. What the heck did you flash? The Sprint Note 2 version from my teammate Sleshepic? Did dialer and contacts work? OK, it had to be the Sprint version because if my Epic Touch worked then that would be impressive. I already have djdarkknight's permission to use icons and themed apps from Dark Jelly
OK I lied. I have Venum Ice and Jedi 6.1.2 sitting next to each other on my laptop. I was going to offer some cash for a pro to do it because a pro could knock that out in a day it would take me some time ...I think. Those background lines would have to be solid black and I! Would switch up the status bar icons

All that zip does is replace images. If your settings is FCing you have another issue at hand.
I can add it back the battery that is, but all the resourses I do not know what was done to them. So the layout will be messed up

I added a black status bar and a transparent status bar version to this theme.
Here's a theme I made that changed some of the status bar icons white. I made this for myself and I thought I would share it. The default gray really isn't my color lol. I wanted to keep it as close to stock as possible without adding new stuff. I wanted to keep it white and simple, similar to the S4.
Themed:
- Clock
- Battery %
- Signal bars
- WiFi
- 4G
- Alarm
- Sound mode
- Airplane
- Bluetooth
I also made the green battery icon brighter. I hope you guys like it.
Make a Back Up before you flash!!
Step 1. Flash
Step 2. Reboot
If you mess this up and something goes wrong, don't blame me lol

Yeah, I couldn't get the stock WiFi signal bars to go white the way I wanted them too. So I cheated and grabbed the WiFi signal from the S4 systemUI, which happen to be LTE.

Using Xposed + modules don't work fir me either. It'll work fir a while, but soon, it's like SystemUI restarts and the stock grayish color just comes back.
The closest I've ever gotten is making the status bar transparent. Its not what I'd like to do though, which is to turn the status bar solid black.
