Hey everyone i saw some posts at sammobile saying that we were getting the 4.3 update yester day, my i9195 didn't get the update and also i changed the time zone to canada and nothing :$
anyone there got the 4.3?

Yet there is no update for Europe users, we have to be patient and wait.
I assume we will get the update in 1 week (not sure though)
my time zone is GMT +1 Europe - Amsterdam
The website androidnext says well get 4.4 too, but it's german so I don't know if you understand it.

S4 just got 4.3 from vodafone pt last sunday
i got an update, but it's still 2.2. dunno for what was that update

Hi guys/lads, i do have a question about the official update from android for our belowed GNex. Recently i've read a lot about it and now i'm totaly dumb. I'm still on stock cause i bought my mobile like one month ago. Do i need to do something special to be able to recieve this update from google? One more question - does anyone here in Norway already got it? Cheers

if you are yakju you have to wait cuz the ota for yakju isnt out... if you are takju you should get the ota soon

You probably have yakjuxw version of image, thats why you are kinda late on receiving the update. You can try reading the stickies threads in general and development on how to flash yakju version.
Yakjuxw - update under samsung (late update)
Yakju- under google (fast update)
** i dont really remember the exact term, but if you are not yakju/takju, then update is late. You can check by turn the phone off, press vol up and down + power button together. Down at the left, there will show what version you are on.
If you are planning on upgrading to android 4.2, try reading some threads about the sdcard0/0 problems that everyone is having. Try to understand that thing first before you upgrade to 4.2, so you dont freak out

Guys, did anyone from India get the 4.4 update on 2nd gen nexus 7?? I heard nexus 7 2012 in India has already got the update along with nexus 4.

got my 32gb 4g edition from google play India today at 4pm.
it asked to download an update, but 4.3.1 (it had 4.3 by default). but it showed error while installing the update. i didnt get the 4.4 update yet

You'll get it eventually. They give it out at random.
You only get one chance per day.
If you clear google services framework data and force stop, then check for update, you can get a new chance, but then play store may not work properly, so be prepared to factory reset if that happens.

according to a mail sent to me ( and also a call) from google wallet support - u can use your ICICI bank debit card in google play, no other Indian DEBIT cards are accepted as of now. you can also use a "virtual credit card". these are one time online/virtual credit cards offered by banks to make online purchases. u will get more info on this if u call your bank's helpline.
as for the issues - none :laugh: . i too was very much scared as i had read that the new N7 had a few touchscreen n gps issues out of the box. but mine is perfect (then again, its been less than 24hrs since it arrived, i am keeping my fingers crossed).
i did encounter an error while installing the 4.3.1 update, but a factory reset fixed it.
but even if does hav issues, google play india WILL replace it, so dont worry
Does anyone know if it was released today? I saw two articles on google that it was released for D581. Any news on it?
The bits I can find are talking about a Cyanogen CM12 release for the D851. Not stock from LG yet. But perhaps my google-fu is off today.

Hey guys, so judging from this thread the D581 isn't on lollipop yet huh? A friend of mine just got this phone but is using it here in Canada on Wind Mobile. Will the 5.0 update be pushed from T Mobile, which in essence would exclude him from the update, or is it coming directly from LG?

I have an Lg phone from metro pc years ago that got an update long after it was out of order. Pretty sure he'll still get the update when available.
Doesnt matter who you are using the phone with once the oc ota is ready ur device will get it im on straight talk and i got the r update
AT&T released update DOI9 today. The posted marshmellow beta only works for DOI7. Anyone know how to make it work on todays update?

Todays relecise is DOI9 not DO19.
At&t did not update they software page yet but some people reporting to get it DOI9

It is a joke. You may have heard of them.
See, I was disappointed that there was a security update, first because it wasn't MM, and second because it probably meant that there would be a longer delay for MM to be release.
Does anyone know why I haven't recieved the OTA update for my phone yet?? According to Sam mobile it's been out since the end of December, I haven't had any kind of update since the November patch??
Did you try with Samsung smart switch pc software? Sometimes it picks up an update before ota

Vodafone are always very late with software updates, usually a month or two longer than other companies.
Yeah still says latest software is up to date, bloody weird hahaha
