I think it's safe to say data is not working. Soon I'm sure though.

I used the recovery from hood pope ,flashed fine, had white status bar icons?.no data either.md5 checked out,the white icons throw me off ,should be blue right?but once ROM settled it was smooth.using WiFi when I connected to xda site had an error show up saying I choose to many pages, screen was shaking or glitching fast and browser force closed.maybe I should use a recovery like EL29 direct boot ?.what do you think dastin.oh and before I flashed I made a back up,the restore went fine, back on hood pope

Data not working but what can i say, its 4.4!! Either way its a win!!!!
Thanks dastin!!!

status 7 comes from the fact that for the moment you need the latest cwm to install 4.4

awsome cant wait to test:victory:

KitKat switched to white notification bar icons.
I agree that Wi-Fi works great as does everything but data (after a half hour of exploring cm11 I noticed that all the very minor issues smoothed themselves out)
I was also happy that I did a nandroid before flashing and would highly recommend the latest Hood Pope update to anyone that needs data in the interim).
Most importantly: THANK YOU DASTIN for everything you have done and continue to do. We're very, very lucky to have you here.

Great and awesome my man fantastic job I will test this on the uscc variant for you and report back glad to see this mate
Edit: am i the only one that is getting bootlooped every time i reboot and have to reflash the rom?

Few things i found that were fixed and broke from cm10.1 test 2. Mic in google now, And apps that require mic works. Like it says camera does not seem to connect right so it doesn't work. So far very good! I am going to use as a daily driver because i love 4.2
Looks Nice
Thank you! Can't wait to try it out.
Just flashed a few minutes ago.
Nice! I love 4.2 already heh.
Thanks for the support, we all appreciate it
Edit: Would downloading a camera app from the PlayStore help in anyway with taking pictures?
Ooh. This looks nice.
Can't wait for camera to work but I'll likely flash it anyway since it's new and is likely to get that remedied quickly.
Wonder how LunarUI v2 will look...
........i love you

I tried Silent Camera from app store but it did not work.
Keyboard
So my initial thoughts are it's pretty well put together, still a lot of testing/tweaking to do but one of the things I noticed was the keyboard has a glitch where if you click/hover over the buttons the zoomed picture of the key doesn't quite line up. It shows the key you are clicking on and a little bit of the keys around it if the were zoomed in as well (Blue arrow looking thing) device restart does not change this.

Just checked it out on my device and it looks fine to me. If it really bothers you, you can disable it under keyboard settings.
Very nice will try out tonight

Using the Aroma Installer
This is a quick guide to using the Aroma Installer since this highly customized version may be slightly different from what you have used before.
Looks complicated, but is super easy. And I think you will appreciate the ability to customize your set-up without having to re-install the ROM.
Enjoy!
Be sure to select your carrier!
Installation:
Nandroid backup
Factory reset in recovery if coming from a non-TouchWiz ROM (backup internal SD Card contents first)
Flash in recovery (button or touch)
Aroma installer should start within ~5 seconds
Choose a theme (if the colors look borked, go back and choose the theme again).
After agreeing to the disclaimer and viewing the changelog, Choose either:
Install or Update ROM - Installs ROM
or
Add or Remove Features - Allows you to add or remove apps, launchers, etc without re-installing the ROM.
________________
Install or Update ROM:
Choose either:
Full Wipe - Clean install wipes system, cache, Dalvik, and app & system data (no media, etc).
or
Update Wipe - Wipes system, cache, Dalvik (for current CSROM users only)
Choose desired options.
If you don't choose a launcher, the TW launcher will be installed.
If you install both AOSP and Samsung email you will get repeated FC's.
You can install both launchers and decide which one to use after boot.
________________
Add or Remove Features:
Be sure to select everything you want included in the ROM, even if it is already installed on your device.
If any given item is not selected, it will either not be installed, or deleted if it is already installed.
________________
Additional Info
If at any point Aroma hangs, hold the power button until device reboots recovery (10-15 seconds).
If install completes and you get a "Status 0" error after pressing "Reboot" in Aroma, just reboot the device.
***************
Using the ROM
Currently Not Working
Some widgets don't work with some launchers
AOSP Lockscreen - camera and Google Now icons don't unlock screen

Quick Reboot not working
Note2 gallery FCs when trying to set pics on lockscreen
23 Toggle Mod: Some toggles don't work properly (talk to lidroid or wanam)
RAZR Launcher and Circle Widget
Tapping the circles launches clock app, weather app, and battery stats
Swipe circles to flip them
Clock circle displays text notifications
Home screen is left most screen (not center)
Slide home screen right to see quick settings
Circle widget currently only works with RAZR launcher
Lockscreen wallpaper can not be changed with this launcher
AOSP Lockscreen:
When using the AOSP lockscreen you must de-select all other lockscreen options.
Multi-Window:
Press and hold the back button until menu bar pops up
Tons of videos on YouTube
Battery options are located in Settings, Display, Battery Icon Style.
Using the lockscreen torch:

Re: | New! | ROM | 4.1.2 | CSROM "Tha BMB!" | Multi-Window | Aroma | 19 Mar 2013 |
Alright, I've given this a little test. Runs smoothly, love the ability to just flash mods in Aroma and not need to do a full install each time. Multiwindow working but I've never seen the point of it personally. I really like the way data drops to 3g when not being actively used, that'll help save some battery. I'll give this a test for a few days and see what kind of damage I can do to it.
Couple immediate gripes that perhaps are already being fixed or can be justified:
1. When a notification comes in it scrolls over top of the clock and can be hard to read, unlike other TW ROMs where the entire area clears so the text is the only thing visible (I'm using centered blue clock)
2. The notification bar icons and text seem overall too large for some reason, also I would be nice to edit the visible ones since some people don't use them all.
3. When highlighting text or autocorrecting a word as you type the field is green. I suppose this is minor and can be overlooked but my theme is blue and it jumps out every time.
Awesome work, keep it up and thank you!

If you read the OP it says to hold the back button to activate multiwindow. It's working without a problem for me.
My version says 4.1.2 so I'm going to guess that overall you didn't flash the correct ROM.

Ah, didn't see the part about holding the back button. Thanks.. That worked. I flashed the correct ROM, twice. Full wipe and all. I'm using the T-Mobile version so maybe that why it shows 4.1.1.

I'm using T-Mobile also, downloaded from this thread. I just noticed and doubled checked because of my signature that I'm listed as the i747 which is interesting. It does show 4.1.2 for sure in the about device for me. I also don't remember selecting my carrier now that I think about it, did you?
I'm gonna do another fresh install and see what's up. Hmmm

Ah ha! I found the problem. What happens is when you select T-Mobile while installing all the goodies. Apparently my finger wasn't read the first time o did it and missed some of them, one of which is the carrier selection at the very bottom. Now that I've picked that it shows the proper device but the wrong version. Its probably just a typo in the script that I hope is fixed next release.

Is the MMS specific to using Halo features, or can I swap in a MMS from Carbon or any other ROM and still have the HALO features work?

PA NEWEST G+ UPDATE : https://plus.google.com/u/0/107979589566958860409/posts
Thanks @MBQ_ for the hosting !
MBQ_:
I'd greatly appreciate it. If I can get a monthly donation income of at least 8$ USD a month, I can link it to my PayPal, so no money has to come out of my pocket. If I can get a significantly larger income of 8$ USD a month, that could open up opportunities for dedicated servers, or improvements throughout the site including things like: Better download speeds, more FTP users, etc.

@-Jesco- @MikeyCriggz Just to letcha guys know, I noticed when trying to restore PAPrefs that this build has them in the old location of /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.paranoid.preferences. PA is currently using /storage/emulated/0/backup. Nothing major, still works as expected.
EDIT: Seems to be an older version. (I think) I just extracted the paranoidpreferences.apk from the Maguro build. Moved to /system/apps > changed permissions to rw-r--r-- and rebooted. Seems now it is backing up to the current folder of /storage/emulated/0/backup.

Yeah, this is using older version (5.2 - believe current is 5.3)
I just wanted to let my fellow Toro+ users know. For my device, this is the best it has ever ran. My device has gone through a rebirth. I am running it with KUBO-AK-r50 Kernel. Google should consider hiring both AOSPA & AOSPAL to create 6.0 Lemon Bar!!! Thank you very much.

yup everything works great
clean install... flashed non JB modem, cleared all cache properly, etc.. once i flash the ROM it gives the "i'm going to reboot now" message and the phone reboots. from there it just hangs on the cyanogenmod logo circling and circling.
anyone else experience this?
