Calm down. You not bricked. You need to do a factory reset in stock recovery and your problems will be no more. You know the three finger salute I presume? Unfortunately, this will erase all data and return your phone to "out of the box" condition. If you were smart, you have a back up. If not, this will be a learning experience you will not forget.

thanks, fixed it. now, by any chance do you know how to "fix" SuperSU? since i was rooted, i downloaded Titanium Backup and restored some game backups, but whenever i used SuperSU a pop-up appeared telling me that an app was trying to access the system without permission, i believe the message was from Knox warning me about SuperSU, the i accidentally pressed "update" and crashed my SuperSU app, whenever i try to launch it, it doesnt even open and is already saying "Unfortunately, SuperSU has stopped." i tried downloading a different Superuser app, but didnt work.:crying:

I have a rooted Incredible and I have some issues with it right now, i tried to restore the backup i created and i get an error, i have wipped everything from the phone and i cant get it to reset to factory. Any ways to help out with this?
What issues are you having? If all you did was root the phone and that was all, i highly doubt that the issues are because of root.
i attempted to install vanilla skyraider, i backed up the orginal skyraider and now when i tried to restore the skyraider backup i get a error
Please help me, I have messed up my phone pretty bad. When I rebot my phone it goes through the normal process (Skyraider is the ROM I am using) and after the boot is finished it should proceed to the home screen but instead it takes me to a screen that has the Andoriod Logo and says tough andriod to begin, the catch is when i touch the logo nothing happens. I have attempted to factory reset to aviod the screen but i still get it back! Please help! Im in need!!

You don't have a functioning backup? Then I would try wiping everything (wipe data/factory reset, cache and dalvik cache), re-downloading and flashing the ROM (any of your choice), the file might have been corrupted some how. Good luck
I had a backup and when i went to restore it through clorkworkmod recovery it doesnt work and i dont understand why,
Hi,
I recently tried installing the new 4.3 update onto my Samsung Galaxy S3 I747. Also, I never rooted my phone and my carrier is Telus if that matters.
When my phone finished updating, it lead to the lock screen. Just as I was about to enter my pin and unlock it, the phone restarts and gets stuck on the Samsung splash screen. I have tried entering into recovery mode and then wiping the cache and restarting it, but no luck.
I do not wish to restore my phone back to factory settings because I do not want to lose my music and apps. Is there a solution that can fix it without wiping the memory?
Thanks.
edit: i left it charging for a few minutes while it was stuck on the samsung splash screen, and then it went to the lockscreen and restarted it self
... i have to wait five minutes before i can save my edit
editedit: it just went to lockscreen for a second again
editeditedit: its going back to lockscreen quite often and restarting it self

When you got it into recovery did you try to wipe data/factory reset??
But to be honest it sounds like your phone is soft bricked maybe. I'm experiencing the almost same problem with my AT&T sgh-i747. Mine is stuck at the Samsung Galaxy S III screen and doesn't go any further than that at all.
You will most likely have to do that same thing I am doing which is reflashing android 4.3 via odin. It may work for you, I'm pretty sure it'll work for mine. Head over here and read this thread and see if this can help if not let me know and we'll come up with somethin else to help you fix your phone. (If I'm correct following this thread and flashing via odin will not erase and of your data.)
Your only other real option is to install the 4.3 MJ2 leak via heimdall. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2496425
Heimdall will flash odin files. http://glassechidna.com.au/heimdall But odin will not flash heimdall files. It works much like odin flash in download mode so i'm told. I'm trying to figure it out now. I hope this helps.
I was never able to get the above Heimdall installed correctly on my pc. I am still stuck at the black and white galaxy s3 screen. I installed TWRP via odin to try my to run my nandroid i made earlier today and it says successful. But when I go to reboot It says No OS are you sure you want to reboot. I was already on 4.3.3 via the OTA update like you. And now i'm here turn phone on and it's going straight to download mode
Please HELP US BOTH Someone ANYONE
So earlier I changed the look of my SuperSU logo and then later on when I went to click on the old logo it said "SuperSU is not installed" or something to that degree so I went ahead and long pressed it and hit "remove" after I made sure the new logo was on my screen. Then I went ahead and restarted my phone and now whenever I try to turn my phone on it keeps restarting and gets stuck on the Sprint Spark screen. What is there to do now? Thank you so much in advance. Another thing I found was odd was before I restarted the phone, I ran Root Checker and it said I did NOT have root access (but I am rooted), I tried wiping the cache and rebooting but same thing, should I try the factory reset?

It seems you may have lost root somehow when you uninstalled the app . install stock firmware put phone in download mode odin stock firmware . try again you will have to root again
It's a problem I've never encountered before.
After charging my phone, I go to my usual routine, facebook-ing. After opening the app, my phone hangs. So, i restarted it. Tried opening facebook again, and it hanged again. Another restart, this time, I didn't open facebook, but tinder instead, still hanged.
To my desperation, I went to recovery to reset my phone, unfortunately, after pressing "wipe all user data"(factory reset), the phone restarted before even finishing the process. Now I'm stuck in bootloop.
Then again, I tried dirty flashing the ROM I used before this madness (DN4), before finishing the format process of the installation, the phone restarted AGAIN.
I don't know what happened to this but I can't get pass "galaxy note II" logo and I can't install any ROMs.
Anyone who have experienced this problem? I've tried any solutions I could think of with no luck. I hope someone could help me with this one. Thank yo u very much.

flash stock through odin. then if everythings works fine you can flash custom recovery and rom again.
Try wiping system and flash again. But Odin seems to be the safest route here.

The only solution that worked was flashing official rom through Odin. Everything seems to work fine now. Thanks!
Congrats.
Long story short installed substratum and it was working fine, had a navbar theme already running and installed another one. Few hours later rebooted phone and when it booted back up systemui crashed and it went into bootlooping into that over and over again. Now it bootloops a few times and goes into a recovery menu that only gives me the options to try rebooting again or a factory data reset.
The phone boots into bootloader/fastboot just fine and I can get into recovery but the only options I have are 'try again' and 'factory data reset' I know that FDR is basically my only option and so be it. BUT IF POSSIBLE I want to try and backup the internal data or at least as much of it as possible.
So, is it possible to backup any internal data with only having access to bootloader/fastboot.
I've spent over an hour searching to this answer but either I was searching wrong or simply was not able to find the answer. Pixel XL is 100% stock. Never modded, never rooted, stock recovery, stock latest official Oreo from OTA update.
So again. Absolutely no access to the OS. Only access bootloader/fastboot and a form of the recovery menu and I would like to somehow backup the internal data. I don't care about apps or any app data, specifically just the user data if at all possible. If not well then I'm screwed and that's that.
Hello,
Happened to me also something like this. The phone rebooted and the only option were those presented to you also. But, I pressed the "Try again". If this still doesn't work, when the device is rebooting, and the white screen appears, try and hold on to the power button until the moving dots appear.
Also, this didn't wipe anything on my device.
Hope this is useful to you.

Does nothing. Just reboots back into recovery. I've tried Try Again probably 100 times and nothing ever changes. Even safe mode does not work. The SystemUI is completely dead.
I'm 90% sure there is no way to fix the phone other than factory data reset and I'm fine with that. I just want to know if I can backup anything from bootloader/fastboot before I do that.
Have you tried using ADB to boot ( not flash ) a custom recovery, and from there to backup the phone, and after if it's possible, to use the USB-OTG to copy that backup to an USB memory stick?
Looking at the Substratum FAQ in the app it says that if you experience a bootloop you should be able to flash /storage/emulated/0/substratum/SubstratumRescue.zip in recovery and it should fix the boot loop.

As Matt already mentioned, there's a rescue zip file which comes by default with substratum. It's purpose is to remove all overlays which you've currently installed.
In case you don't have a custom recovery installed you can simply boot into twrp via adb (without having flash the recovery)

What if you're bootloader locked? Is there a way to recover from a bad overlay?
You could try to flash the factory image if you've unlocked the BL, just remove the -w from the flash all script

If you have checked the option to potentially allow unlocking your bootloader in dev-settings you can use fastboot to unlock your bootloader and boot into the bootable recovery image
